Alcove Resorts

One of my best vacation till date in Goa. Resort is right on the Ozran beach you will need to ascend few steep stairs to reach the beach. Beach is quite secluded with very little crowd and clean also. They have their own restaurant which serves good food there are few other restaurants nearby but don't expect the same varities like in Baga/Calangute. Best part of the stay is the view from the resort. They have decent parking space. Service is good. Approach road is a bit narrow but manageable.

We stayed in the Mini-Deluxe room on the first floor and had a really great experience. The room’s aesthetic was a bit old-fashioned, but it was super clean and well maintained, which made the stay very comfortable. The restaurant offered a beautiful ocean view, and it’s lovely to have breakfast overlooking the sea. However, the food was just fine — not exceptional — and the breakfast spread had very limited options. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The resort also has a direct path to the beach, which makes access super convenient. Also resort have internal car parking which helped a lot since we travelled with our own car. Overall, Alcove Resort is a pleasant place to stay for its cleanliness, friendly staff, great location, and sea-view dining, though the food could be better.

Reaching the property is a bit challenging as the approach roads are uneven and narrow, especially towards the seaside. The resort is located quite deep inside, close to the sea, which gives it a secluded charm but also makes accessibility slightly tough. The rooms are spacious and airy, but the bed quality really needs improvement. It’s too soft and bouncy, and sleeping on it for two or three nights can cause back discomfort or body aches. The rooftop view is beautiful you can clearly see the sea but getting down to the beach involves a steep and rocky descent, so it’s not very convenient for everyone. One major concern is the foul smell from the washroom if the exhaust fan is not kept on. This can be quite unpleasant and should be fixed. The property is well-located in terms of nightlife, being close to popular clubs like Clara, Noa, and Dynamo. However, the hospitality and service could be much better. The staff seemed a bit indifferent and lacked politeness in their communication. Even a small request for a two-hour late checkout was quoted at ₹1,500, which felt unreasonable. Room service was also very slow getting even a bottle of water took nearly half an hour. Breakfast options were very limited, similar to what you’d get at an average Goan guesthouse, not what you’d expect at a ₹4,500-per-night stay. Swimming pool is also infront of reception area. This also doesn't have lift so in case of elderly it is concern as the rooms are located at various levels.. I wish them best to do better in terms of improving quality of the guest.

Rooms are good. Service is very good. They clean and redo rooms everyday. Breakfast is unpalatable at times. Hit and miss and breakfast is inclusive. Had eggs on all the days I stayed there. Very pet friendly. Biggest negative is music next door 3am to 12 noon. Keeps banging all night especially in rooms 109&110, where we stayed. I specifically asked the receptionist to put me in a room where music wasn’t an issue after reading previous however I got a noisy room. Please carry got quality earplugs if you’ve already booked

The location of the resort is the selling point of this resort.. Rooms are nice and clean.. However service is the worst.. During one of our Dinners at the Hotel.. We found a cockroach in our food.. We immediately brought it to the notice of the serving staff without creating a ruckus or any fuss.. Even though half the family members had consumed the food.. On discussing this with The Resort Manager he was extremely rude to us and did not even have the courtesy to apologise. Instead he made statements like when you eat outside god knows what you eat.. Very very poor service.. Will recommend for stay only for the location but not for service and food.

I booked the resort for 2 days and had a pleasant experience Room: I opted for the standard room, which was very clean and neat. They also have sea-facing rooms available for those who want a better view. Pool: The swimming pool is open from 8 AM to 8 PM, and the water was well-maintained and clean. Beach Access: The resort has direct access to the beach, but you’ll need to step down around 50 steps to reach it. Totally worth it for the view and convenience. Food: The in-house food is slightly on the costlier side, but the good part is they allow ordering from Zomato and Swiggy. Staff: The staff is very helpful and polite, which made the stay even more comfortable. Overall, it’s a great place to stay with clean facilities, a nice pool, direct beach access, and warm hospitality.

I had a wonderful experience at this hotel. The staff were very helpful and always ready to assist with a smile. Their warm hospitality really made me feel welcome. The food was also a highlight—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. The location is perfect with a cliff and rooms are spacious (Mini Delux) Overall, a great stay and I would definitely recommend it to others!

If you end up paying more than 4K for this hotel then this review is applicable to you. This hotel is frozen in time. It was a good hotel maybe in the early 2000s. If you travelling with family consider other options.
