The hotel has a very cozy overall atmosphere, which we really appreciated. Breakfast was good, although the portion of scrambled eggs was quite small, and it wasn’t possible to have both eggs and avocado at the same time, which felt a bit limiting. Communication with the staff was smooth, and they genuinely did their best to accommodate guests.
Our room was pretty but not very practical. The bathroom was surprisingly large compared to the bedroom, where we could barely open two large suitcases. It was advertised as 20 square meters, but it felt closer to 15 in total. Privacy was also an issue, as you could easily see the person using the toilet because of the layout between the bathroom and the room. Additionally, the blinds let a lot of light through.
We were also charged an unexpected additional fee of 15 USD for paying by card instead of in US cash, which we don’t carry as Europeans. This extra charge was not mentioned anywhere, and it was the only hotel in Chile that applied such a fee during our trip. Everywhere else, we paid exactly the amount shown on Booking.
Overall, a cozy stay, but with some room for improvement.
