My husband and I were so smitten with the exteriors of these adorable little cabanas nestled in the manicured forest, that we booked and paid in full BEFORE we saw the interior. Our mistake! Based on the price, we just assumed the same quaint, up-to-date aesthetics of the outside would continue to the inside. We were very disappointed. The lighting was very poor - we could neither read nor write in the living area. The bathroom was unbelievably small, not to mention the shower stall - impossible! And the bedroom was tiny, barely wide enough for the double bed. The real deal killer for us was the heating. We were never able to get our cabana warm, which made the nights and mornings (the only times we were there) very uncomfortable. After 2 nights, we found other cabana accommodations that were much, much better (spacious, climate controlled, super clean, a fraction of the cost). We were not able to get a refund for the additional 5 nights that we had prepaid, but we just couldn't stay there and be unhappy. We were there in March (Fall Season). In the summer months, heat may not be a problem. The architecture of these cabanas is just too incredible for them to fall so short on the inside. And, maybe all the other cabanas have been updated to modern standards. I hope so.
