Incredible little cabin getaway in Ushuaia. The cabins are spacious, beautiful and rustic and remind you of your grandmother's home. In addition the location is fantastic as it is close to everything in Ushuaia yet far enough away to feel like you are on your own private retreat. Would highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay at the cozy cabin while surrounded by greenery and colorful flowers. the staff was very helpful when we had an issue with one of the heaters - they came and fixed it within 10 min. Will definitely stay here again if I ever come back to Ushuaia!

Amazing place! This hotel is no ordinary hotel. Located inside a forest, this place seems like a magical world. There are lots of things to explore around the hotel. Cabin is very cozy. Hotel staff was knowledgeable and patient. Highly recommended!

We really enjoyed our stay here, and especially fell in love with Ushuaia!||The cabins are spacious and clean, but could use some improvement. ||||Very cosy but spacious living room and bedroom, the shower was however VERY small! The water is also yellow, especially after the rain.. a bit gross!||Breakfast is provided as well, but could be better. ||||We had an issue with the key / front door. They told us it would be fixed right away, it unfortunately was not.||||Overall we really did enjoy the cabins, the privacy, and the beautiful forest / nature.

We stayed 4 nights at Aldea Nevada on our dec 16 trip to Ushuaia. It was way above my expectations, I would give more stars if I could. ||First the cottages are situated in a beautiful forest on the mountain slope that leads up to Martial Glacier, the setting is almost fairy tale like. You can walk around the property of the hotel and get to a meadow where there are wide flowers and birds. Very cozy cottage with everything we need and more; we stayed at the 2 bedroom cottages; the living room has stove and oven, microwave and all kitchen appliances we need to make easy breakfast/brunch. The stuff was very helpful, giving us information on tours and transportations as well as the surrounding area. ||The room had great heating systems, and the room was kept at very comfortable temperatures throughout our stay. ||It is a little way out of town center, but it cost about 80 pesos or so to get remis or taxi to town (either call, or catch one of the taxis returning from martial glacier, we never had to wait more than 5 min). ||Definitely a gem of a place, highly recommend for families.

Very cozy place, cabins are really nicely made and make for a very romantic accommodation. Staff is also very friendly and helpful. Downsides (why we only gave 4 stars): for the price we paid (including breakfast), we were disappointed by what is called “breakfast” (a few slices of toast + some mini-pieces of Jam & Butter). For that price, breakfast could be more substantial. Location is a bit off, 30-min walk to city centre but therefore calm.

My husband and I were so smitten with the exteriors of these adorable little cabanas nestled in the manicured forest, that we booked and paid in full BEFORE we saw the interior. Our mistake! Based on the price, we just assumed the same quaint, up-to-date aesthetics of the outside would continue to the inside. We were very disappointed. The lighting was very poor - we could neither read nor write in the living area. The bathroom was unbelievably small, not to mention the shower stall - impossible! And the bedroom was tiny, barely wide enough for the double bed. The real deal killer for us was the heating. We were never able to get our cabana warm, which made the nights and mornings (the only times we were there) very uncomfortable. After 2 nights, we found other cabana accommodations that were much, much better (spacious, climate controlled, super clean, a fraction of the cost). We were not able to get a refund for the additional 5 nights that we had prepaid, but we just couldn't stay there and be unhappy. We were there in March (Fall Season). In the summer months, heat may not be a problem. The architecture of these cabanas is just too incredible for them to fall so short on the inside. And, maybe all the other cabanas have been updated to modern standards. I hope so.

Our first reaction on landing in Ushuaia was 'I'm so glad we're staying outside the city!'. Bleak and ramshackle, Ushuaia lacks the charm of other southern Argentine towns like Villa la Angostura and San Martin de los Andes, so we were very pleased with the location of Aldea Nevada, which is in a small forest, about a ten minute drive from the centre of the city. The wood cabins are charmingly designed, warm and spotlessly clean. We stayed in a two bedroom cabin, and were really pleased with the kitchen as well - it's great to be able to occasionally eat in when you're travelling. The resort is managed by two young women who were very friendly and helpful with everything from restaurant recommendations to car rental information to tips on building a fire for first-time barbecuers. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay there.||If I had to point out a negative, it would be the size of the shower cabinet in the bathroom. We found it tiny in spite of being relatively skinny people, so someone who is overweight or claustrophobic might have a tough time.
