The Aldi Corner Store in Melbourne CBD is bustling with locals, students from nearby universities, and tourists. It's especially popular with those looking to stock up on essentials at affordable and competitive prices. Shopping bags aren't provided, so you'll need to bring your own. Please be mindful of how you carry your purchases, as Aldi employees sometimes check your bags in an unfriendly manner.

When the other store was out of specific nappies for weeks, I thought I'd check this CBD store at opening hour, after getting some groceries early morning at QVM and just as well they had plenty of stock. The store feels new and shiny still. Very clean and spacious. Staff opened the doors timely just before opening hour of 8:30am, important and relevant because the free parking at QVM ends at 9am. Self checkout worked seamlessly. Like any other Aldi store - cheaper groceries compared to Woolworths/Coles, small 0.05% surcharge on cards, pack your own groceries whilst staff scan them, or use the self checkouts.

Recently upgraded store with an efficient and modern layout. Self checkouts got put in a few weeks ago a d the range of products got bigger too. It can get quite busy in here but you’ll find everything you need for a good price. Some saver specials are unbeatable. Nice selection of German/European products available. Good for the r weekly shopping too. They also have some table for bigger and bulkier items - reminds me a little bit of a small scale Costco. Most products are rebranded but taste the same as the originals. Good selection of alcohol too.

A blond young man at the store demonstrated racist behavior that ruined my shopping experience. While I was checking out, putting everything I bought visible outside just to make it easier in case someone’s watching. The guy came to check my bag without any explanation as if I was a thief. So they just target innocent customers while not doing much when actual incidents occur? This is absolutely not right. I’ve never met such unfortunate staff members at other supermarkets and I believe they need to uplift the staff training or the customers will stay away.

Best place for grocery. If you haven't noticed, most full priced items in Aldi are still cheaper than half price at Coles worth. It's tough to get eggs here as they get snapped up so quickly. Shelves are often empty.

I’ve been shopping at Aldi in Griffith for several years now, and I can honestly say it has become my go-to supermarket for both weekly groceries and the little extras I didn’t know I needed. The store is always clean, well laid out, and easy to navigate, which makes the whole shopping experience smooth and stress-free. Staff are consistently friendly and approachable – they’re quick to help if I can’t find something, and the checkout process is efficient without ever feeling rushed. What I love most is the unbeatable value for money. Aldi’s fresh produce section is excellent, with fruit and vegetables that are both affordable and of really high quality. The meat section is also top-notch, and I’ve been impressed with the range of specialty items available, especially when it comes to cheeses, deli goods, and bakery products. The famous Aldi “Special Buys” are always worth a look. I’ve picked up everything from kitchen appliances to gardening tools, all at prices that are a fraction of what you’d find elsewhere. It adds an element of fun to each shop, as you never quite know what bargains you’ll come across. Overall, Aldi Griffith offers outstanding value, excellent quality, and friendly service that consistently beats the bigger supermarkets. Whether you’re shopping for everyday essentials or looking for something different, you’ll walk out feeling like you’ve saved money without compromising on quality. Highly recommended for anyone in the Griffith area!
