Aldo’s Hostel in Huaraz ended up being one of the best places I stayed during my time in Peru. What really sets it apart is the staff, genuinely some of the kindest, most helpful people I’ve met on the road.
They rent trekking gear at fair prices, offer solid advice on routes, and never push tours on you. Everything felt honest and low-pressure, which I really appreciated.
It’s a place where you can rest, plan, and connect with people and the mountains. If you’re heading to Huaraz, don’t think twice. Aldo’s is the spot.
