Fantastic beer - everything that we tried was excellent. Friendly service, spotless space that’s small but inviting, with a nice patio and some fun pizza choices. Highly recommend and can’t wait to go back.

A must visit if you're into local beer and pizza. One of Edmonton's finest breweries. Great selection of beers. Amazing staff, they'd get 5 stars just for that. The Birch Bear pizza is excellent.

This place is awesome and highly recommended if you're in Edmonton and looking for a local brewery to check out. Ale Architect has numerous beers on tap and very tasty pizza as well! It can get quite busy in the evening, so it's probably best to get there early in the evening to get a table. Service was very fast and highly efficient as well. The atmosphere was A+. Will definitely be back.

Great beer, great food, amazing location. The staff are friendly and attentive. The food is great, portions are awesome for sharing. We stopped in here to try a few beers and grab some food to take home. The staff were great at helping us decide which beer they would recommend, they took the time to ask both me and my husband what we like, what kinda beers we usually drink to help us pick one they think we would like. Their recommendations were on point! Highly recommend checking this place out.

All the beers are really good. Perfect is best word I'd have for the beers I tried here, and I did try them all. I found the following beers impressively good, clean and balanced. Day Drift session ale. Django Spiced White Beer with Ginger and Szechuan. Hula Punch NEIPA with Coconut Riff Raff West Coast IPA DayBreak Cascadian Dark Ale Vienna Lager. I tried the Yum Yum beers, they are pretty good for sour beers, the Tropical Tart Ale was the best of the Yum Yums. Pizza is pretty good too.

Ale Architect Brewery & Taproom never disappoints especially when you’re craving a cold pint and a slice or two. Really enjoyed the patio with some friends and I made sure to pick up a four pack of the Yum Yum Juice and some merch on the way out.

Good beer selection and finally... a good thin crust pizza. I'll start with the beer since it's a brewery. Silly names, but pretty well made. LOTS of IPAs, so if that's you're jam you'll be set. I was pleased to see one dark beer on the menu at least, and in summer to boot! It was delicious and deep. Sweet, with just a touch of bitterness. I also had the sour, yum yum juice, because the server said it was made with Five Alive. It was PERFECT for a summer patio moment. The pizza is thin crisp but not overly thin. Probably about .5 cm. It led to actually being structurally sound, which is something so many thin crust pizzas are not. I got the mushroom goat cheese and my date got the pepperoni. The pepperoni was perfectly classic. Strong pepperoni flavour without being too salty, nestled within a good layer of cheese. The mushroom goat cheese was fun, very cheesy and light, to the point that I felt happier alternating natural pieces with pieces covered in hot sauce. Also their HOT SAUCE!!! It's that super vinegary just barley hot kind and it's sooooo good for pizza. Esp with the goat cheese. This pizza was good cold. The building itself is nice. 4 picnic tables, lots of indoor seating--both tables and a bar. Didn't use the bathroom so I can't say.

Yelp
My favorite place in Ritchie! The beer is amazing and the pizza is incredible. Just tried the Balsam & Chocolate cookie for the first time and it did not disappoint. Yummy chocolate and not too sweet. It's going to be a regular part of my order from now on me thinks! Also love the servers. Always friendly and lovely to chat with with. Always something new to check out at Ale Architect, whether it's a brew and/or the monthly feature pizza. Pro tip: ask which pizzas you can mix with the feature. A pizza can be half-half if the base is the same :).

Yelp
This craft brewery offers a unique selection of beers in a cozy environment. The staff were all friendly! I tried 5 of the beers, and enjoyed them all. I liked that you could also order some tasty pizza- either whole or 1/4.

Yelp
I came here with a number of friends for a night out recently and we all had drinks. The non-alcoholic drink options are quite limited but not terrible. The beers were very much appreciated by those who did imbibe. It was quite busy when we visited: all the outdoors seating was taken up. The pizza looked great though we didn't have any ourselves. It was busy. Staff were helpful and we did get a table for our group. They have tasters if you want smaller samples (in part if you want to sample more beers). They serve full and half pints of beer as well. Beer is definitely their specialty. There is ample street parking, but it is reasonably close to residential neighbourhoods if folks are walking and transit isn't too far away either.

Yelp
We decided to pop in here for a bite on a whim. My husband is a beer drinker while I am not. Their non alcoholic options are basically a couple sodas or water - which is fine, It's a brewery. It's pretty small inside but still nice and cozy. The glass doors and wall give a neat view right inside the active brewery. The staff were great and super friendly. The pizza was awesome, better than I anticipated for a brewery. I can't speak too much to the beer itself but my husband enjoyed all the ones he tried and wound up leaving a bit more day drunk than he anticipated. We would definitely come back.
