Absolutely loved our evening at this restaurant! We came here on our first night in Prague after searching for gluten free food. This restaurant had a full menu with so many naturally gluten free options and lots of vegeterian/vegan choices too. This suited multiple dietary requirements for our group of 4. The cocktails were lovely and a good size, the food portions were excellent. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the restaurant had an intimate atmosphere with lovely decoration. The food was next level! The restaurant is located in a more quiet area of the Mala Strana district which meant we could get a table relatively quickly with no reservation but it was also just a short walk from both Charles Bridge and Prague castle. Totally recommend!

Didn’t expect to find legit Mexican food tucked just below Prague Castle, but Alebrijes really delivered. It’s on a quieter street in Malá Strana, just a short walk from the tourist buzz, but it feels like a little escape once you’re inside—colorful, relaxed, and unpretentious. I ordered the Suadero—flank steak marinated in milk and spices. The flavor and texture were on point—tender, rich, and just different enough to stand out. Honestly, it was fantastic. I almost went back a second time before leaving town. The rest of the menu looked solid, with a mix of Mexican standards and a few regional touches. Friendly, easygoing service (English spoken), and they genuinely seemed to care that you enjoyed your meal. Prices were reasonable. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the main restaurants, but 100% worth the visit. If you’re craving something different or just want a really well-done meal in a quiet spot, this is a great pick.

Fantastic dinner. Had the veggie mole enchiladas and the mole was great. The service was really nice as well. When you dine solo sometimes you don’t know how you will be treated but I was welcomed and had a great experience. Would definitely recommend! Only got one picture but it felt as authentic as you can get in Europe (I’m from Texas and travel frequently to Mexico - this was great Mexican food).

My husband thought I was crazy when I suggested Mexican for dinner in Prague (coming from Colorado). But he was so glad I did. The food was super fantastic. So flavorful and amazing, we went back a second time. The Mezcal margarita was the bomb! We also had the ceviche (yum), 3 shrimp tacos and a mushroom taco. OMG! And finished the meal with flan. I'd eat here again and again if I could😄😄

We visited this Mexican restaurant in Prague "Alebrijes Cocina Mexicana" and our experience was unfortunately not very positive. The atmosphere wasn’t great for us. It didn't feel very comfortable or cozy. Besides that it was extremely noisy, to the point where we literally had to raise our voices just to hear each other. We ordered beef fajitas and chicken tacos. The presentation was rather basic. just the main dish with one spicy sauce, without the sides we usually expect at a Mexican restaurant (like cheese, beans, or a choice of sauces). The beef fajitas were average, nothing special, while the chicken in the tacos was quite dry. Overall, the food and atmosphere where under average, not something that would make us want to return. There are definitely better Mexican restaurants in Prague.

The drinks, Best margarita I’ve ever had.. The Food, Incredible they have traditional Mexican flavors down to a science. Do yourself a favor, make a Reservation an don’t miss this Gem.!

Outstanding flavours, super fresh. Enjoyed every mouthful. Really helpful vaccinating some dishes to make them vegan. I had the enchiladas with salsa verde for mains, exceptional. Great little place

The Food and drinks were fantastic. Our waitress was great. Absolutely no complaints. Would come here again if we were in Prague.
