Absolutely loved our evening at this restaurant! We came here on our first night in Prague after searching for gluten free food. This restaurant had a full menu with so many naturally gluten free options and lots of vegeterian/vegan choices too. This suited multiple dietary requirements for our group of 4. The cocktails were lovely and a good size, the food portions were excellent. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the restaurant had an intimate atmosphere with lovely decoration. The food was next level! The restaurant is located in a more quiet area of the Mala Strana district which meant we could get a table relatively quickly with no reservation but it was also just a short walk from both Charles Bridge and Prague castle. Totally recommend!

Didn’t expect to find legit Mexican food tucked just below Prague Castle, but Alebrijes really delivered. It’s on a quieter street in Malá Strana, just a short walk from the tourist buzz, but it feels like a little escape once you’re inside—colorful, relaxed, and unpretentious. I ordered the Suadero—flank steak marinated in milk and spices. The flavor and texture were on point—tender, rich, and just different enough to stand out. Honestly, it was fantastic. I almost went back a second time before leaving town. The rest of the menu looked solid, with a mix of Mexican standards and a few regional touches. Friendly, easygoing service (English spoken), and they genuinely seemed to care that you enjoyed your meal. Prices were reasonable. It’s a bit out of the way compared to the main restaurants, but 100% worth the visit. If you’re craving something different or just want a really well-done meal in a quiet spot, this is a great pick.

The food was really tasty and the service was super nice everyone was friendly and attentive. The prices are a bit on the higher side but I guess that’s expected since it’s right in the center (and well inflation doesn’t help). Still overall a great experience and I’d definitely come back.

The Food and drinks were fantastic. Our waitress was great. Absolutely no complaints. Would come here again if we were in Prague.

Fantastic dinner. Had the veggie mole enchiladas and the mole was great. The service was really nice as well. When you dine solo sometimes you don’t know how you will be treated but I was welcomed and had a great experience. Would definitely recommend! Only got one picture but it felt as authentic as you can get in Europe (I’m from Texas and travel frequently to Mexico - this was great Mexican food).

My husband thought I was crazy when I suggested Mexican for dinner in Prague (coming from Colorado). But he was so glad I did. The food was super fantastic. So flavorful and amazing, we went back a second time. The Mezcal margarita was the bomb! We also had the ceviche (yum), 3 shrimp tacos and a mushroom taco. OMG! And finished the meal with flan. I'd eat here again and again if I could😄😄

Unfortunately, the huarache came with 2 corn tortillas as a base instead of the regular thicker dough, which completely changes the flavor and stops being a huarache. It was not good or worth it. They don’t share with customers that they ran out of it and just serve you a sub-par dish. If we knew we wouldn’t have ordered it. When mentioned to the servers, nothing was said other than, “the manager told the kitchen to do that”. Tacos campechanos were good.

Outstanding flavours, super fresh. Enjoyed every mouthful. Really helpful vaccinating some dishes to make them vegan. I had the enchiladas with salsa verde for mains, exceptional. Great little place
