Alentejo Marmòris Hotel & SPA

Spent a week here and enjoyed every minute. The staff was friendly and took great care of us. The breakfast was excellent with lots of options. Dinner in the restaurant was good as well. Did not make use of the spa or pool but it looked inviting. Centrally located to venture off into the Alentejo region. The village is quiet, do wish they had some entertainment in the bar or restaurant nightly. Would stay again!

My paradise in deep Alentejo. Every year I travel to Marmoris once or twice a year. I love the food, the rooms, the heated pool and the rest you can feel when in Vila Viçosa. Usually they have fair prices and the team always try to find you a good deal if you contact them or book through their website. The breakfast is really good but, the cold cuts (mainly presunto) is not the best you can find which is strange when in Alentejo. They have a sweets room for the kids, a really nice touch. Pool and restaurant menu are both pretty good but you pay the price. The "only" downside is the little kids or the noisy guests that forget that the pool is a relaxing area, not an outdoor kindergarten...still, you can find your rest, most of the time. I'm sure next year I will be back again.

Alentejo Marmoris Hotel, 5 stars The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Our room, along with the terrace overlooking the pool, was absolutely beautiful and very clean. It was also wonderfully quiet — perfect for a restful night’s sleep. Wi-Fi – very poor internet connection…. Breakfast was decent, but not quite up to 5-star standards for a hotel of this level. We noticed that some food items were not being refilled, and a portion of the fruit was even a bit sour. It felt like there was little effort to replenish or improve the offering during the service.🤷‍♀️

My favourite paradise on Alentejo...I really love the small town, the warm water pool and the rooms. Breakfast is pretty good!

Centrally located hotel, really nice buffet breakfast and the staff are super friendly and gave the kids a little gift and there is a little sweet buffet which they loved to pack up a few sweets for later in the day. The pool area is nice although it can get very busy the pool is heated. The front desk staff are very helpful

Yes, a 5* with all the expected accommodation, but it is the Staff. I left my purse in a taxi and the clerk traced it down and got my untouched purse back. I am so grateful. Our large room with a very comfortable bed and good AC that we really needed with 40^C. Large walk-in shower with good pressure. Typical, good Portuguese breakfast buffet.

Beautiful hotel on the lovely town of Vila Vicosa. Loved the marble throughout the hotel & our very comfortable room with decent air con, comfy bed, outside terrace & decent shower. Funky tv in the mirror was a wow! Breakfast was typical Portuguese & very nice. Staff were lovely in every part of the hotel. Car parking underground was complimentary. Pool area was nice with decent bar & good cocktails/drinks.||Great value for money for a hotel with such lovely standards. Visited a couple of vineyards in the area & bought some local wine. Dined in the square at night. Would highly recommend a stay here.

Beautiful hotel! The breakfast is very nice with a wide range of variety. The staff is incredible, everybody is very nice and always ready to help. The rooms are very spacey and the bed very comfortable. The pool and spa was also really nice. We will surely be coming back!
