EDIT: emailed them a week ago have not heard back
I was initially going to give Aleppo Kabob just one star, but I didn’t since they made an effort to replace my meal. I visited on Mother’s Day with my family, and it was quite busy. I called ahead to make a reservation, but they told me they don’t take reservations. However, when we arrived, we found out they actually have a waiting list—which essentially works the same way, but according to them, it’s not a reservation.
We ordered rice platters, but the first order was incorrect. When the correct food arrived, it was cold, as if it had been sitting out. I returned it and asked for a fresh meal. The server was polite and brought back a hot, freshly prepared plate, along with complimentary fries and an Ayran drink to make up for the inconvenience.
The food itself was just okay. I found the flavors lacking—it could really use some spices to enhance the taste. The service was decent, but a bit chaotic. We had about four different servers asking if we needed anything, which felt disorganized. It would be better if one server were designated per table to improve coordination.
Overall, the kitchen seemed disorganized, and the staff could benefit from more training. I appreciated the effort to make things right, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
