Ålesund Kirke

Gorgeous church both inside and outside. There is a ship hanging which was quite unusual for me. The stained glass windows were exquisite. The murals upfront are beautiful and unique. It costs 50nok to get in. I wasn't too happy about paying to get into a place of worship and I hope the money goes towards upkeep of the church

Stunning church up a hill in Alesund. Unusually it has a model ship hanging from the ceiling in the middle which apparently is common in Norwegian coastal towns. Insane fresco at the front. Costs £5 each to go in and worth it if you're going to 'read' the church a bit. Not to just go in and go ooh. Loved the severity of it.
