Stayed here after a cancelled flight and was pleasantly surprised after seeing the reviews. The shuttle driver was waiting for us when we got our baggage. The staff was very nice including the lady running the breakfast. The room was huge and clean and appeared recently remodeled. I gave it 5 stars partly because when eating breakfast I got a text that our flight was departing earlier than expected. The shuttle was on another trip and the staff called a cab and paid for it so we could make our flight. This hotel may be the best value around.

On a positive note, the beds were comfortable. The lobby was clean, but I can't say much for the rest of the hotel. The staff behind the desk on the night we checked in were quite rude. Really??? This is supposed to be hospitality... did they not get that memo??? After getting to our room, we discovered that the switch on the bedside lamp was broken (actually non-existent). You had to turn the light on and off by turning the bulb. We went down to the front desk and asked if someone would please either fix or replace the light. They said they would look for another light (I highly doubt they even bothered to look or even make an effort to rectify the situation). We told the staff the next morning (they were at least very polite), but the light was still not fixed by the time we checked out two days later. The tables in the breakfast room were not cleaned in between guest eating so it was a little unappetizing to sit and eat breakfast there, but the food was good. I don't know that I would recommend staying here to any of my friends or family.

Google
The only good thing to say was the bed was comfortable, otherwise the staff were not helpful, the carpet in our first room was WET moved to another room and the toilet was broken and there was a musty smell. So glad it was just for one night! Our friends had similar issues. The FREE breakfast was very poorly made. However the shuttle driver was very nice.

Google
Positive: the fact that it was close to the airport which was what we needed. Negative: Several thing, too many to list. This hotel is run down. the room was clean, Bathroom needed cleaned. Elevators need some attention, dont want to open. Floors are sticky. Washer and Dryer barely work.

Okay first off, we booked a room with 1 king bed but instead got two queens which happened to only be supported by box springs. Bed looked horrible. Second, the shower did NOT work. My boyfriend tried turning it on but no water. The plate behind the knob was coming off the wall. The sink also had a heavy water pressure which made water spray everywhere. Third, front desk was rude. The lady seemed extremely impatient and disrespectful. Forth, the hotel itself is super outdated. Very ugly carpets and in the halls there seemed to be what I hope was a bleach stain, and some of the carpets looked blurry so I don’t know really know what to say about that. Fifth, I woke up the second night with a giant bed bug bite right above my eye. I mean as big as me not being able to look up without seeing the bump clearly. Another was found on my right arm shortly after. Sixth, super noisy. The walls are super thin and you can hear a normal tone conversation going on in the room next to yours. Avoid this place. If you need to stay somewhere I recommend finding a parking lot and sleeping in a vehicle. Do not come here.

InOther Words

Google
This was a lovely place to stay. My family and I spent 2 weeks in The Alex and we really enjoyed ourselves. Good central location. Close to the airport, a plethora of parks, bus roots, and restaurants. The breakfast is small, but free and the dinning area is very clean. The staff is always very polite and everyone I talked to or asked for help from went above and beyond to help solve my issues. The rooms were dated, but very clean, and way more spacious then the typical 2 queen room set up of most hotels. The house keeping staff does a great job, I think there should just be more of them. Sometimes they wouldn't show up to clean the room until dinner. Biggest downside for me was the lack of being pet friendly. They even refused to let me bring my (licensed) service animal, even when I showed the staff all of her paperwork. But with no other hotels available my dog had to sleep at a friend's place. I think with some updates, a few teachable moments to the staff, and a larger cleaning crew that this place could be even better.

i have called this place to speak to my mother in law. they refuse to transfer to rooms. her daughter is missing. and they do not seem to care enough. we have no way of finding her daughter(my fiance) unless this hotel can pull their heads out of their rearends and actually pass messages on and tell people staying there that their own child is missing. uncaring staff.

Brad Sh

Google
I'd seriously question some of the other reviews' validity. From the call for the shuttle, to check in, the staff here will treat you like you are inconveniencing them just being there! I actually can not believe this place is still open based on the staff and it appeared they treated everyone the same. No spare power outlets in room (had to unplug the ac to charge phone). The fridge was barely cool. The restroom in the lobby was labeled out of service, yet staff were clearly using it? I'd never stay here again.

Rhonda B.

Yelp
Very clean, nice staff, very close to airport and you can walk to see the airplanes land at the seaport. Beds were really good, - and rooms are larger than normal- it is a little dated but super affordable. Especially that close to the airport.

Brent C.

Yelp
Walked in room to turn on air conditioner, it was an old window unit, it would not go on, I hit the reset on the plug to get it to go on, blows cool air maybe, the coffee maker has a molded coffee pad in the coffee maker tray. Long black hair on the bathroom counter top, an old razor on the top part of the shower, tv won't work. 1965 bed spreads and the room has a stale smell. Sheets have a yellow cast. I intend to take the coffee maker to the front desk in the morning and ask if they would drink from this device! Too late to change hotels.

Lilly M.

Yelp
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. I usually am not picky about hotel but didn't read the reviews. This is the worst place I've EVER stayed at. For as expensive as it is, super dirty and the room was just falling apart. Not even the slippers can change my mind. Just spend the extra bucks to stay somewhere else!!! Plus got people in the halls yelling

Valerie G.

Yelp
Cheap. Dirty. Strange vibes. Good location in Anchorage. Clean sheets on the beds.

Mandy S.

Yelp
Absolutely terrible there was blood stains on the towels, bed, walls and ceiling. The sheets were dirty and stained. They keep medical patients in a separate building and refused to let me have a room in the first building because I'm on Medicaid. Honestly it's the scariest place I've ever been. I ended up leaving after seeing blood spray on the ceiling. Nope not sleeping there. DO NOT STAY HERE. The staff are rude and you'll probably get bed bugs or hep c. The heater did not work, the phone did not work. There is no security or lock on the building, so anyone can come and go. As a single female traveling alone it just is not safe, aside from the grime and dirt it's very sketchy.

Alejandro O.

Yelp
Our stay at Alex Hotel was the absolute worst experience I've ever had at any hotel, motel, or AirBNB. We arrived from the airport exhausted from a 13-14 hour trip to find out that our room was on the 3rd floor of the 2nd building, the building in which the elevator is not working. We asked the front desk if we can switch rooms to one in building 1 or on the first floor of building 2 but they were not helpful with this request. After climbing the 3 flights of stairs with all of our luggage and equipment we got to a room that had a very funky smell. On top of that there was a red stain (of blood or nail polish) on the bathroom floor, a piece of a painted fingernail & eyelash that resembled a caterpillar next to the sink, stains on two of the pillowcases and towels, stains on the toilet seat, and loose hairs on the shower walls from previous customers. We were also missing a top blanket on one of the beds. The breakfast is crammed in a tiny nook where all guests are bunched up to feast on the lowest quality of breakfast known to man. The bananas weren't ripe, eggs resembled rubber, and the cereal was stale. In other words, this is not a place you'd want to stay. Do yourself a favor and book a better place

Tina V.

Yelp
If i could possibly give a negative less than 100 stars i would. Do NOT do business with this place. Rented the events room for my daughters birthday only to be told THE night of they needed to cancel because they "accidentally" double booked! Horrible customer service, horrible organization! Couldn't even speak to the manager because they are not available either?! Horrible.

James M.

Yelp
This hotel is in the middle of one of the trashiest parts of Anchorage, AK. Homeless everywhere, to include the laundry room in the hotel, broken crack pipes and used pregnancy tests in the "cleaned" hotel rooms, toilets that don't flush, piles of human waste in the hallways, etc etc etc. The management refuses to give refunds for people that leave the hotel early because of homeless people trying to break into occupied rooms. The police had to be called to deal with the situation of the bums causing problems.

Logue L.

Yelp
This so called hotel was the worst I've ever stayed in, PERIOD! A few of many items about this hotel. -Elevator was broke and has been for a year. The front desk stated that its waiting for parts. -Breakfast the old crap everyday! -No room service, asked and asked for towels and nothing. -Old, Run down and it shows. -Priceline has it at a 3 Star, it was a 1or 1.5 Star at best. - DO NOT BOOK!!!!!!

Jack P.

Yelp
This place is an absolute toilet! When we arrived, we noticed the lobby was filthy and smelled funny. The desk staff was super friendly and an employee helped us carry our heavy bags to the 3rd floor, due to an inoperable elevator. Once inside our room, we noticed the following: Copious amounts of dust on top of the refrigerator and headboards. Some kind of residue on the TV screen and dresser top. Worn mattresses on both beds, with obvious signs of sagging and indentation. Copious amounts of dirt in the corners of the restroom. A dust filled vent fan and toothpaste splatter all over the bathroom mirror. The room was so filthy, my wife requested cleaning supplies, from the housekeeper who just finished cleaning our room, and my wife cleaned it again. Had there been vacancies available at any other nearby hotel, we would have demanded a refund and left.

Oscar B.

Yelp
Witnessed bed bugs. Homeless within the building. And people using illegal substances on the property. Feels very unsafe. And has very little to no security. Told them about said issues and nothing got done.

Greg S.

Yelp
When we arrived there was no hand soap in the bathroom or at the sink. We called the front desk and they said we had to come to the front desk to get it. I pushed back and said as the customer I paid for and expect soap in my room and they needed to bring it to us. Unbelievably, the tried to argue! I simply said I would discuss it with the manager. Again they wouldn't bring it up to us. Finally after speaking to another agent at the front desk they reluctantly agreed to bring it up to us. This place is costing $200 per night?! Never will I stay here again!

Diana J.

Yelp
Do not stay here. Bed bugs. The rooms are not clean and the staff is terrible. The made an erroneous charge that was pending for days. On the 4th night, I found a bed bug. After I informed the manager about the bed bug, he didnt even apologize for all the inconvenience it caused.

Libby M.

Yelp
Beautiful vintage hotel. Would be 5 stars if they had en suite bathrooms and an elevator in older section.

Sabrina J.

Yelp
Have been up since 2 am... because the people upstairs have been up since 2 am.... you can hear everything! They have been walking back and forth for hours.... the hotel is very poorly made and the people aren't friendly at all. Have not been taught any customer service skills and need some type of customer service classes if they are going to be wanting to work in the front desk where they have to talk to others as their job... The hotel inside is gross. Stains on the carpet, mirror dirty, shower head super low. Do not stay here.... you have been warned.

Christel G.

Yelp
Giving it 2 only because our beds were clean and they had rooms available. And they have a shuttle to and from airport. But this is probably the worst hotel I've stayed in. We only needed a room for a few hours so we could nap while waiting for our flight after a cruise. Many things were broken and damages . Elevators were broken, one kind of worked. But not all the buttons. Our window in our room was broken and open, they had a stick on a chain to hold it open if you needed . Weird bugs were flying in because the window didn't seal. The window would open if you touched it, very dangerous being on the 2nd floor. Right below was the parking area. There was a hole burned into the bathroom door. And other weird things .

Jillian E.

Yelp
This hotel was a DUMP!! They have my mother a room that stunk like cigarettes, people where up all night smoking and being loud , she spend the most of the in the lobbby . They also put me and my fiancé on the 3rd floor in the other building that said "sorry for the inconvenience of the elevators are broken" how do you rent rooms with only access to stairs . We had 4 huge bags of luggage . We had to carry up and down the flights , and they charged 250$ a night . Was horrible , would not recommend staying here at all !! Plus itched all night with god knows what lives in the beds.

Ashley R.

Yelp
BED BUGS. This is a very unclean place to stay. They do not change your trash, sheets, or towels. I asked several times and it still was not done. Then I found a bed bug and had to move hotels and try and suffocate my clothes between hotels in trash bags and wash everything. When I told the front desk the issue and showed her the bedbug I put in a cup her response was "can you let us know if you're leaving by 1pm" I highly DO NOT recommend staying in this hotel.

Anajah T.

Yelp
If you can AVOID THIS PLACE, AVOID IT. This hotel has bed bugs, no daily cleaning service. Breakfast is nice and rooms can be big HOWEVER, it is not updated. You can hear people walking above you that's how thin the floor boards are. Staff is sweet but nothing could get me to stay here. I am also in the military and I have seen plenty of bugs but they were in the field. Staying at a hotel I would want it to be clean, sanitized and a bit more updated.

Matthew F.

Yelp
The hotel is undergoing a renovation, so I'm sure things will improve over time. The room was very large and the beds comfortable, and the staff were great. Hot water was elusive, however, and the AC just blew uncooled air. The elevators were a little rattletrap. The continental breakfast was very good.

Frank S.

Yelp
hair in the bathroom. Window mounted heaters. Do not supply enough heat to heat the room. Very noisy. Contacted the manager four times without a phone call back. Don't make the mistake of staying at this hotel.

Jessica L.

Yelp
I give them one star b/c it is a lowest score here. Today Anchorage reached 90 degree and it is a record in Alaskan's history. I got one king bed room in the second floor but my AC was not working! I asked a hotel staff to check but they were not in the line and never helpful. The staff was extremely rude and even lied to me (the staff said they already sent a technician but no, they did not call any technician, actually that person was turned out as a driver! - isn't' it crazy??). Also, the room was not ready to serve a customer. Towels were dirty and there were no amentities so I even had to go to the front desk to ask (the room telephone was broken so physically had to go get new towels, etc.,) They are terrible, so rude and such a liar! They are not happy over there and do not know what they are doing.

Ameen B.

Yelp
This hotel is pretty dangerously rundown and is in poor shape. I would not suggest staying here with children. In my room alone: -The stopper in the bathroom became stuck closed and water wouldn't drain -The AC never worked -The light-switch in the bathroom only worked some of the time On top of this, one morning the entire bathroom mirror came loose from the wall and crashed to the ground, shattering into sharp, dangerous shards. When I looked at the wall it seemed as though the heavy mirror was being held up solely with old adhesive. I wasn't even using the mirror at the time- I was asleep in bed when I heard the loud crash. If I had been standing in the bathroom I could have been seriously injured- a small child could have easily been killed. For me these experiences outweighed any positive aspects of the hotel and I won't be staying there again, but in the interest of fairness here's a list of pro's and con's: Pro: Friendly staff Bed was firm but comfortable Near airport Large room Decent internet Cons: Run-down Breakfast was low quality and dining area crowded Old fashioned key-cards kept needing to be reset Shared computer in "office area" always out of ink

Deb U.

Yelp
Do not book here. Blood on sheets and asked them to change. Came back and the mattress pad still had blood on it. When we notified staff they called the manager and they said there were fully booked and had no sheets so we would just have to deal. When I asked to talk to her she hung up t he phone on the staff. We also booked a room with 2 kings and did not get that as well and the icing on the cake is that for both days they gave us 2 towels for 4 people. Save your money. Asked for refund. Still waiting

Nick D.

Yelp
Tried to book a reservation for my nephew tonight who is stranded in Alaska due to a canceled flight. The person at the front desk refused to help him even with a reservation and recommended he "go someplace else or try another hotel because he's a kid and probably has no money ". He young looking yes , but he's 24. Not a kid. Just a young person without a credit card. Then they hung up on me twice while acting exasperated at me trying to explain that we made he a pre paid reservation and finally we just cancelled. As he was leaving they called him a "faggot" " to each othand then laughed to each other ( the two people behind the counter ). Highly unprofessional and if I was currently in Alaska this would be areal different ending to this. But maybe I'll fly up. I got your name counter guy. Karma is a real bad deal.

Beng P.

Yelp
The front desk were very friendly and warm. That's the extent of what is nice about this hotel. I itch the whole time. I'm tired and put towels on top of the bed and socks and all. I was able to sleep. It appears to have dirty beddings. Hair, spots that look stains. This is not 3 starts hotel as indicated by Priceline.

Steve W.

Yelp
I feel like I stayed in a completely different hotel than what many reviewed. It is one of the largest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. You could fit four queen beds in here. The carpet is clean and looks like it was put down yesterday. Very nice wallpaper. Bathroom is very clean and has a large vanity just outside the door. Checked all the linens and everything looks good. Find no dust. Beautiful head boards for the beds. One outlet cover missing and no safety latch on door, but has a deadbolt. Those minor things do not upset me. Not a four star hotel, but I would definitely come back here again.

Melody T.

Yelp
BED BUGS! woke up and seen something about to crawl on me, thought it was a spider. it was a bed bug! if I could give no stars I would. front desk did not seem or sound surprised when told about it too

Ross M.

Yelp
Hotel has definitely been around the block. Looks like it was built in the 80s and nothing has been done to it since. The staff isn't the friendliest group either. Been here twice now and both times the people at the front desk seemed annoyed I was there.

Adam F.

Yelp
I usually only do reviews for places I throughly enjoy. But this place was a junky trash pit. We stayed here for the location. I am pretty sure we walked upon a crime scene. We found blood sprayed on the wall, a completely destroyed phone and a heroine syringe tucked away in the bathroom. After following up with the manager he refused to give me a full refund for my money. Even after he physically had to remove the syringe himself. He offered me another room but that's not what I wanted. Switching rooms does nothing for me. The hotel already lost my interest. Do not stay at this dump.

Lily P.

Yelp
Cons: Window fan didn't work. Shower head very low. Location looking into people's yard. AC was poorly installed and did not stay on more than five minutes before powering off and turning back on again. Elevator smelled strongly of grease. Floors were dirty in other building. Pros: Good breakfast. Airport transport. Close to airport. Easy to spot maroon Mercedes van. Friendly staff. Luggage held in office after check out. WiFi.

Laurie A.

Yelp
This is more of a single room occupancy hotel vs a guest/tourist hotel. It is convenient to the airport. The shuttle was quick and easy. Otherwise, not a whole lot of positives. The carpets were dreadful. We didn't want to touch any surfaces. The lobby bathroom was locked.

Melida A.

Yelp
We ended up here due to flight being sent back to Anchorage! We had vouchers from the airline and It's wasn't a bad stay! Hotel personnel were friendly and made our stay comfortable as we weren't planning in staying in anchorage at all!

Bo A.

Yelp
This place is a old nasty hotel that should be classified as a motel. Motel 6 is the Waldorf in NYC compared to this. Avoid at all costs, pay $100/200 for pretty much anything else.

Lisa I.

Yelp
I would give this hotel zero stars if I could. There were stains on the carpet and the furniture. The curtains had holes in them. The bed had hair, stains and little black specs (bed bugs?). I could go on. We couldn't stay.

Cathryn B.

Yelp
My flight was cancelled and I couldn't make it to my reservation. The hotel refused to refund me or let me switch the reservation to another day. They said they have a strict no show policy even though I had all the details of the cancellation from the airlines. I think that's a poor way to conduct business.

Meryem P.

Yelp
Let me begin by saying I unfortunately checked the reviews AFTER we had booked an exorbitant amount of money for this place. I double checked for bed bugs, and my room was clear. but we had another bug problem - FLIES. i counted. 10 dead. 8 alive. buzzing. and buzzing. all night long. i feared turning on lights in case they wanted to come out. and absolutely annoying. I got one smile from an employee, but that was the extent of friendliness. I didn't bother calling and asking for help after checking reviews. i'm sure they wouldn't have cared. in the event they barely cared, they probably would've just moved me to ANOTHER fly infested room. my dad's TV didn't work at all in the room and he had to be moved after getting comfortable :/ weird vibes. only plus is the connivence. but if you're looking for the same quality at half the price, just go to a motel, mate. i've never found bugs in a motel at least i also understand flies may be a minor issue to some. however i unfortunately have a slight fear of bugs due to previous experiences with bed bugs this was uncomfortable for me.

Rick R.

Yelp
Well Priceline you got me on this one! Price listed this as a three star hotel I'd say it's 2 1/2. Excellent customer service though. I would NOT stay here again!

Justin W.

Yelp
6/18/20 BED BUGS! Don't walk, but run from this place! At least the front desk person and manager were nice and gave me a full refund.

Billy A.

Yelp
Comfortable yes Clean... Appears to be. The sheets all had hair on them and underneath them. We went down to the lobby and has someone come up to see it. After offering to change the sheets guess what... More hair was found under the sheets and under the mattress topper. Wow. We were than moved to another room... Which had more small and long hairs on the sheets and pillow case. Than they offered to change the sheets to new out of the package sheets. Will not be back for sure

Matt L.

Yelp
Customer service is non-existent. Have been trying to reach out for the last few weeks. Never got the call back as I was told I would get, have not gotten responses from emails, and even had the Booking website reach out and they have not gotten a response! My reservation is less than a week away and I am trying to figure out my options for changing dates since my flights and cruise have been canceled due to COVID-19!!!!

Kristin K.

Yelp
I would not stay here! Ever! Complimentary breakfast was horrible, staff watched to see if you got too much food. Some of the staff weren't very nice. It was walking distance from places like village inn and stuff. But don't ever stay here.

Cole L.

Yelp
Ridiculous. We scheduled a pick up from the train station. They forgot. We called and they said they would be right down, we called back 15 minutes later because they forgot again. The driver said hi aftwr I said hi to him but that was literally all. Didn't even say thank you when I tipped him. When we walked in the front desk lady did not say one word to us, just stood there in awkward silence with the upset looking other guests in front of us. They only had one room, even though the email confirmation said 2, and were completely booked. No apology. When we got to our 1 room the door looked like it had had more than 1 attempted break ins and the carpet was quite stained. There was some black sticky looking substance on the phone cord and splatter of whatever it was on the ceiling. One of the beds just had a small regular sheet on it that exposed the mattress so we called down for a regular queen fitted sheet. We had to wait for tje driver to get back to bring it to us, which I'm thankful he did. It was just 2 regular sheets that were too small again but at that point we were done. We just overlapped them and went to bed. I am not usually a review writer but do if I want to give great praise or great warning. This is definitely the latter. Sorry Alex.

Deepak K.

Yelp
Bedbugs, moldy smell, blood stains, staff unhappy and swears at you. Perfect vacation. PLEASE PLEASE read previous reviews. I suffered through. Please pay 10-20 dollars more and go elsewhere. I chose this hotel thinking close to airport. I wish I had read reviews here on yelp or else wouldn't have chosen. The lobby has moldy smell. No cleaning. The sofa broken in lobby. At night I was bitten on legs by bed bugs and had to shake off and apply bug spray in the middle of nightmare. They publicize free shuttle but when I requested shuttle driver to take me back I was told 5 dollars. I refused and used swear word. The shuttle driver has attitude and flatly refused to take me back to airport. When we arrived he was slamming doors. I had to take Uber. Someone else has written don't touch carpet or surfaces. In morning 2 people just walked in while I was just in room half naked. Turned out they gave room to another unsuspecting guest..

Christina S.

Yelp
This is not a fancy 5star. The five stars are for a clean, quiet room close to places to eat. We usually stay down town but they were booked. The alex hotel had rooms cheap. I was suprised because our room was huge. I think they cater to anmc and Medicaid but it didn't bug me because the hotel staff kept everything in line and we didn't have any issues. Most hotels who cater to those groups are dirty and have problems with noise and drunks.... lucky for us not here! The hotel was clean. They have free parking along with wifi and free breakfast. The breakfast is your typical waffles, hash, cereal, boiled eggs ect. Our room had basic cable, mini fridge and microwave. Large bathroom. Ac and heat. We will stay here again. Subway is across the street along with a few other places.

Miranda L.

Yelp
My boyfriend wanted to take us on an adventure to Alaska and he had gotten this hotel in a bundle deal with Expedia and when we had arrived to this hotel we walked into the lobby and he had the most disgusting odor I can ever smell in a lobby. From that note I knew something had to be up. Once we had gotten to our room we wanted to shower and wash off our flight we were just on. My boyfriend had went to turn on the shower and the shower knob just broke off we couldn't even change the temperature of the water. So when we had called the front about the issue and they said they would send someone up to fix it for us. Well turns out that the man who had shuttled us from the airport to the hotel was the maintenance man for the hotel that was another red flag. They had then switched our room two a double queen and when we had gotten into the room, I had decided to check to see how clean the bed were but come to find out they were the most revolting beds of my life. They were bug infested, had nasty hair everywhere and stains in the sheets. I didn't even want to stay there but it was just too late from our arrival to change hotel. I do not recommend any one to every step foot in this hotel. In result I had someone from the front desk the next morning come up to our room to show them how nasty that room was cleaned. Made them give my boyfriend a full refund including the night we stayed. DO NOT EVEN STAY HERE!!!!

Colleen G.

Yelp
Shuttle service was great and quick. Hotel it self was nice. Rooms were clean. Great complementary Continental breakfast. Definitely would stay here again Thx

Caroline D.

Yelp
After reading the reviews over the last year and a half, it sounds like every one of those people had the same room! I recently I stayed with the Alex Hotel for an entire week. I found the front desk staff and breakfast staff very courteous. I did not interact with any of the housekeeping staff. I will say though, that my room was refreshed everyday, the bed comfortable and sheets delightful. When I discovered that my coffee maker didn't work, the maintenance man came and got it and returned with one that worked. He handed it to me and the pot was still warm. He said he double checked it to make sure. Wow! I thought that is really going the extra mile. If the hotel had all those problems that other people have commented on, I can only say that they have made great strides to overcome them. I also want to say that this is a mid service budget hotel and if any one stays in hotels, then what this hotel offers is quite adequate for the price. There will always be maintenance items in hotels of any level and some are more visible at times and others are not, but surely, many can be overlooked as they are all part of an on going process. In closing I want to sincerly thank the staff for their hospitality! And wish much prosperity in 2016!

Yelp
Ok, I see the reviews & agree sort of. Stayed 2 nights & then came back for another night. Here's the deal, at check in, insist on the room in main building . The other can be sketchy folks. My room was clean, the bed comfortable & the TV big. Happy! The down side.... The heater was not really great on both stays. The drain & toilet were, well sloooow. Front desk was polite & let me check in early (3 hours early). Delivery food close by & quick. Bummer part is owners are divided & have blocked the tunnel under the street so you can't get across easily or go to the restaurant on other side of property! Dumb! For the price, I was thrilled.
