The most wonderful baby/kids store in the country. The selection of clothes/toys/books is just unmatched, you walk in and it’s like walking into a dream. I always find beautiful things for my kids, amazing gifts for their friends and when I walk out I’m always feeling so happy. The owner and her staff are just such a joy to be around. I can’t believe I hadn’t done this sooner as it’s just been our favorite spot in Austin for years!!

Everything in Alexa James Baby is high quality - clothing, toys, and books. Staff is very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous. The store is lovely and peaceful, but you can order online, too, and the website is well designed and easy to use. Lots of what they carry is made with natural or organic fibers. A great place to shop for a special gift or higher quality design and materials.

This store is so so cute ! The quality of everything is amazing. Also, whoever was working today Oct. 20 during the day was so helpful and kind. I will definitely be back!

Found this shop by chance and it's simply darling! It's elegant, warm, welcoming, and has the sweetest range of clothes and toys. As a bonus there is even a little play-oven for the kids while you shop.

I was so surprised to find this place doesn't have any reviews! It was a darling place to go to and the woman working with us was so helpful and nice. Prices were comparable to other boutiques and clothing is in amazing quality. I loved the coordinate sets and the fun books. I can't wait to gift these pieces to the mother to be. Would love to come back the next time I'm in Austin!

I've been waiting for a cute baby store to open up around me, and I finally found one!! Stumbled upon Alexa James Baby the other day and am so glad I did. I have a 2 year old, and feel like I'm constantly going to showers and birthday parties, but always want to bring a unique gift instead of typical registry or amazon type items. AJB has the most adorable outfits (for both sexes!! Bc let's be honest, it's hard to find boy clothes) and great little toys too. Their owner was so nice to help me find the gifts I needed, (and tons for my daughter), I definitely owe her a shout out for the customer service she provided. We will back again soon!!!

This store is the cutest baby store in Austin by a landslide! The store owner, Karina Drake, is FANTASTIC and so warm and helpful. The pieces are unique and amazing quality. They have anything from clothes to books to furniture. There is even have a play area for the kiddos! I will definitely be a regular.

This is such a beautiful shop with a an adorable play area for children! Came in for a baby gift and the owner was super friendly. She helped me pick something wonderful out and then offered to gift wrap and ship for free. Seriously so many cute things that it was hard to pick just one. I will definitely be back not just for the beautiful items, but for the lovely environment and super kind staff!
