Alexander Hotel (Noordwijk aan Zee, South Holland) Verified Reviews | Tablet Hotels

"The short stroll to Noordwijk aan Zee’s sandy beach makes Alexander Hotel a popular choice with families and holiday makers. Sun-seekers will also appreciate the large terrace of the Alexander Beach Club, while full relaxation is guaranteed at the next-door Azzurro Wellness if the weather’s not playing nice. The 57 bedrooms are well-proportioned, and all have their own balcony; there’s an unabashed boldness to their decoration, especially the “Dutch Design” rooms." - Tablet Hotels

> - The 2x 55-minute treatments (full body massage and facial) were scheduled for 2 hours, but both were completed in 1 hour 35 minutes, which was disappointing. > - The room service pizza was subpar; the cheese wasn't melted and seemed to be just placed on top, making it inedible. We was also not given any cutlery therefore my husband had to go downstairs to ask for some. > - My sleep was disturbed due to the room's location above the restaurant. I was woken up at 1 am by noise from bins being taken out and people talking. The hallways were also noisy with banging and shouting. To make matters worse, I was woken up again in the morning by bins being wheeled out. > - Breakfast took 35 minutes to arrive, and the cooked option consisted of sausage, bacon, and hash brown.

I prefer smaller Hotels, they are often more personal and have a soul. The Alexander is no different. The check in was prepared and very easy. We felt welcome from the first moment we entered. We could make a reservation with the beach bar (also 5⭐️) and got a nice, large, modern and cost room at the third floor. Late check out is 30€ and gives you u til 6p.m on the day you leave. Breakfast is, compared to many breakfasts I had In the Netherlands, very good. The staff is always helpful and attentive. To make it short: although we stayed only 1 night, the Alexander instantly became one of our favorite places to stay in the 🇳🇱. So: 5⭐️, well earned

Nearly a 5 star review for stylish design, great atmosphere and friendly staff. Some minor points for improvement: I ordered a coffee in the afternoon and it definitely came out of the cheap breakfast machine instead of the proper machine I saw in the bar. The bathroom door is only frosted glass, and doesn't shut well so could be a privacy issue. On the plus side excellent bacon at breakfast and the whole hotel is very clean

We have been on vacation for several days at this hotel. It was very nice. We had lovely days. The whole staff was as very friendly. The room hat a nice view to the sea. It was at night very quiet. The beds were very comfortable so we had a nice sleep. It is a very short walk to the beach. The hotel has two charging stations for electric vehicles and worked fine. The breakfast was perfect. Enough to choose from but not too much. The last day we used the nearby Azzurro Wellness area. On that day we booked the late checkout for 30€ which I think is quite a bargain. You can use the room until 18h the same day. Thank you very much for the great stay. We will be back.

We enjoyed a romantic stay in a big room with a comfortable balcony, free access to the spa-gym where deer walked around the tennis courts. Short walk to the beach and the forest in the dunes. Recommended bike ride to The Hague through the dunes. Amazing food at restaurant and beach club. I only missed a direct view to sea.

The hotel seems to have been recently renovated. Rooms are fairly spacious. Staff is very helpful and polite. There’s an underground parking lot for 17.5 EUR a night.

We had such a amazing stay at Alexander Hotel. The rooms were very good, clean and well equipped. The only thing was that we weren’t able to turn down the lights under the bed. We covered one with a pillow and the other one was already covered with a band-aid. All the staff members were very friendly, helpful and everybody understood the meaning of hospitality. We really felt at home! The first evening we had an amazing dinner at Dylans, the second day with enjoyed our Kingsize Sun Lounger at the beach arranged by the hotel and our dinner by sun down at Alexander Beach Club. Picture perfect! We will definitely come back!

This hotel boasts luxury service and a wellness center to relax in but it's all show. The wellness is just a country club down the street that is really nothing more than a few small saunas and jacuzzis. And when you actually want to use the facilities they only have a few spots and if you didn't reserve in time you're out of luck. The rooms are small and so is the bathroom, only nice thing is the furniture. The women at the front desk are the typical rude and not very helpful Dutch women. Poor service and very unfriendly. The breakfast was also nothing special and below par. For what I paid I really feel ripped off. Can't recommend.
