Our experience was incredible. Amazing food, even more incredible service. Brittany was our server and was exceptional. She made the best martini customized to my liking. This is our 2nd time celebrating my birthday here and loved every second. The coat room is the move—so personable and romantic.

We celebrated my birthday at AP. We took advantage of their private dining room (movie screen in room) and it was amazing. Jess, manager, seated us personally and made a fantastic margarita! Our server, Rachel was attentive, knowledgeable of the items on the menu, and very friendly. The appetizers and main dishes were so delicious and filling we sadly had no room for dessert🙁

We arrived in town for a cheer competition and thought the menu looked nice, but was cautiously optimistic as our previous Akron, OH dining experiences weren't amazing. This was 5 stars! From the time we walked in (and note we were way under dressed, but they greeted us kindly) we were treated like we were long time customers and the only ones in the restaurant. Chelsea, Brittany and Brityn were all absolutely amazing, but the whole staff were honestly. The ambiance caught our attention quickly, fancy, but not too fancy, some historical items to look and talk about. The food was 5 star all the way around, we didn't have one thing that wasn't amazing. For apps we tried the vegan hummus and brussel sprouts and wow! The portions were big, but lesson learned for the next visit, probably don't need 3 apps, salad, etc..., for dinner my wife and i both had the Surf and Turf (short rib/lobster) and wow, it looked just as good as it tasted. My daughter who is 6 had cavatapi pasta (plain) and WHOA, she was blown away. for dessert we all shared the towering chocolate cake. There are so many other things on the menu we want to try and lucky for us we have 2 more Akron cheer comps this year, because we will be back for SURE. If your in Akron, stop by. and give this place a try!!! AMAZING!

Had the pleasure of dining here tonite with My Brother from another and being serviced by Brityn & Brittany who were absolutely Fantastuc! So personable and professional. We ordered Jumbo grilled Shrimp, fantastic! Aricini Fantastic! And for the main course I ordered the Ribeye with a lobster tail and Brussel sprouts, everything was cooked to Perfection! This is one of My 2 Favorite establishments in northeast Ohio. Service, atmosphere and food are always Great! Will see Yall soon!

We booked a private room for our work Christmas party and our experience was absolutely amazing! The food was outstanding. The room had a fireplace and pool table. We got the appetizer and dessert table service and it was perfect! Rebecca Jackson gave the BEST service I’ve ever had!!! I would highly recommend requesting her for your party!

Our first time here and it was a 10/10 experience. Brittany was great and she made the overall atmosphere amazing. She was so helpful understanding the menu and recommendations for us. After we had dinner she even showed us around the building and wow the owners have done such a good job with it. My boyfriend owns a company and that is on the top of our list for the company Christmas party. We have been to flemmings a dozen times and it has always been our favorite and this place takes the cake. This is now our new favorite spot. What a hidden gem this place is.

The food was good but in my opinion not to the cost of it , My $70 steak had bone chips and the chewy membrane in it . It can get pricey fast due to everything being A La Cart . And a bit confusing when the server is asking in a way of it being Included/ part if meal . For example a salad or a side cause that is $5 . Calamari was amazing and reasonably priced. Our server was very upselling and pushy about us giving an additional tip on top of her already included 20% for a party 6 or more . Drink refills had to be asked for and then re-asked till finally getting them . Some drinks that where asked for had to also be asked where they where at numerous times . And 4 espresso's ordered all looked different and not hot . I tried my friends Pork Chop and that was amazing! The mussels are lacking flavor but we did like the added micro peppers , they just need more flavor over all .

I booked one of the Screen Suites last minute for a birthday celebration. Jessica called to let me know unfortunately there was a mix up with the online booking system and the Screen Suites were all booked for the evening, however if we still wanted to join them, she would make sure we had a special evening. We arrived and met Hannah and Jessica at the host table. They were incredibly apologetic (not needed at all - 1st, they were so kind and, 2nd, tech happens), and led us back to a private dining room complete with fireplace and pool table for just the two of us. They treated us to complimentary glasses of campaign to begin the birthday celebration. Brityn was our server for the evening and was so informative and fun throughout the evening. The food (airline chicken and steak) and drinks were absolutely amazing, and at the end of our meal Hannah took us on a tour of the Coat Room (members only speakeasy) and the Screening Room. When we got to the Screening Room Hannah said that since it was the end of the evening we were welcome to stay and enjoy a show. We ordered some crème brûlée (which was divine!) and stayed for about an hour. Overall it was the best experience we could have ever imagined. Thank you to Jessica, Hannah, and Brityn for making the evening so incredibly special and warm - we will definitely be back!

We go to Alexander Pierce every year for our anniversary. This year we celebrated 5 years! Always great service, food, atmosphere, etc. We ordered the special which was a 14oz ribeye that was served table side with tallow (sp?) butter drizzled over the steak that then dripped on two lobster tails (insert drooling). The dinner came with two sides and salads that was more food than the four of us could eat. Every bite was delicious. The drinks and two bottles of wine we shared were wonderful as well. Thank you Alexander Pierce for being a big part of our celebration every year. We look forward to our next visit.

We had the most incredible time at Alexander Pierce! My mom and I were lucky to find this gem and had the most delicious food I think I've ever had in my entire life. The warmed spinach salad, chicken bruschetta, and brussel sprouts were all next-level good! We were so lucky to be taken care of by Amaya - she was kind and knowledgeable! The entire vibe of the restaurant was magical. So charming, and this story of the whole building is amazing. Jessica, the manager, took us on a tour afterwards and I was incredibly impressed. 10/10 - I cannot speak highly enough about the food we had, the people we met, and the experience that we had at Alexander Pierce. Oh, do yourself a favor and go ahead and order the carrot cake. I promise you won't regret it!

Cute and cozy, steak/seafood/fresh pasta on menu, drinks were well made , wine pours as expected. Bartenders were friendly & efficient. Cheese on French onion soup was so flavorful. Filet so tender could cut with a butter knife . Shrimp on shellfish tower was probably biggest I've ever had ( & I have had a lot !) didn't love oysters and they were huge too and I prefer smaller ones . Decor was 20s cheeky vibe - would recommend & go back

This could be one of the coolest hidden gems in this city. I was brought here by my work colleague (aka "the boss") who recently was here and had a tour of what they offer. Before I dive into dinner, I'll tell you that they have rooms to stay in, permanent residents in the building, a gym, smaller areas for meetings, smaller more intimate rooms for dining or movie watching, a private speakeasy with cigar bar...just amazing. Now let's get to dinner. Our server Brittany provided a robust specials option and explained the menu so it wasn't so daunting. She was fantastic! I started with the French onion soup. I am not exaggerating when I say that this was the most flavorful broth I've ever had. I inhaled the soup. I had the cavatelli al Burro but no mushrooms. Hand made noodles. Fresh vegetables. Added two jumbo shrimp (blackened- another recommendation from Brittany, thank you!) there was also not a bite left. No room for dessert but I know that if I'm ever back in town, I'd love to try some other things like their steaks and seafood! Thanks to the team here for an amazing dinner. I'll be back-

We had an amazing time at Alexander Pierce for our date night. This was one of the best meals we've had in a long time. For starters, we ordered the calamari as well as oysters. My wife made the comment that it was the best calamari she's ever had. It was absolutely delicious. I then had a Small Caesar salad and the Ribeye for my entree. You could tell that the ribeye was very high quality as it melted in my mouth on every bite. It was also cooked exactly how I ordered it, medium rare. The drink selection was extensive and we were able to identify a few and we're not disappointed. As for the service, our waitress was very attentive and helped guide us through our food and drink selections. The ambiance of the restaurant was very cool and gave off an old school Italian vibe. They even had this little cigar lounge area that I was able to indulge in after our meal. I can honestly say it was the perfect spot for date night and we will definitely be back to try many of the entrees we had a hard time passing on for the first go round.

Perfect. During the Pro Football Hall of Fame weekend we made reservations for 20. A private room was suggested with a $300 deposit that went toward food and beverages. The room was beautiful. The service, using at least three people, was impeccable. We were given a reduced menu and specials. We did order appetizers over the phone from the website which moved things along. Handicapped accessible, the bathrooms were across the hall. This venue has a lot to offer. Ask for a tour following dinner. It's short, and amazing. The restaurant is accessible was the rear of an office type of building. Park near the back. Walk through the patio to the main doors. The name of the restaurant is the names of the owners two sons. So cool.

I am thoroughly underwhelmed. The vesper martini is interesting because it has lemon juice which is overpowering. The interior reminds me of old Las Vegas (but the quality fell substantially short). I am not a fan of this fine dining restaurant having paper over the table and the server writing their name in crayon. The French onion soup smelled great, but was disappointing. I think the onions could have been caramelized more and the broth reduced more because it tasted thin/watery. The soup didn't have any layers of flavor; even though I was told it took 4 days to make, it tasted as if a carton of beef broth was warmed with dried rosemary and onions and then served. When I first tasted the soup, it tasted like watered down Stouffer's stove top stuffing. The filet was so chewy and not like any prime steak I've had. It was not tender whatsoever. It was not enjoyable. I ate it just because I was hungry and not because I liked it. The scallops that I added were the best part of the meal. The creamy espresso martini is also very good and made me not leave fully disappointed. I booked it saying I had a special occasion but nobody asked me about it. I was looking forward to a spectacular meal, but I left extremely disappointed. The best part about eating here is the free parking. EDIT: Thank you for responding to my review. While I do understand checking on your guests (the service was good and not mentioned in my review), what would it have added to comment on that when I'm commenting on the dishes I received in the moment? I would not have been served a better or true prime steak; I would not have been served a delicious French onion soup. How would you address my concerns about the food?

Celebrated our sister-in-law's retirement here and everyone had an amazing meal. Chelsea and Sam took tremendous care of us. This is our favorite fine dining restaurant in Akron and not as expensive as the others.

I drove one hour from Wooster to meet an old friend for dinner and conversation at Alexandr Pierce. The host seated us at a convenient booth rather than a tiny table. Our waitress Desi introduced herself and asked for our drink orders. She said she'd give some time to review the menu and would detail the special and answer any questions. We ordered a Negroni and a Smoked Woodford Reserve Old Fashioned. They were both well executed and delicious. We ordered the featured BlueFin appetizer and the Calamari Misto appetizer. The presentation was excellent and they were both delicious. I then ordered Oysters Rockefeller. My friend doesn't do oysters. After much cajoling he tried one and found they were delicious. We were equally impressed with the Bluefin appetizer. During the entire meal Desi was always attentive without being hovering. I asked Desi about the Riesling and Pinot Gris by the glass. She suggested the Pinot Gris. It was an excellent choice to accompany the dishes.we settled in on the Double Cut Duroc Pork Chops and the Frutti di Mare pasta. The pork chop was delicious and expertly cooked and presented with Asparagus. My Frutti di Mare pasta was delicious. The mussels, shrimp and scallops were perfectly prepared and served on hollow spaghetti with a bright sauce of cherry and grape tomatoes. We ended the night with the house made creme brûlée garnished with fresh fruit. I had asked for coffee to accompany the dessert and end the meal. Desi provided professional service and advice. All of our food was delivered timely and we never felt rushed. We had plenty of time for have leisurely conversation and at no time were we interrupted from enjoying our exceptional meal. This was my first meal at Alexander Pierce. It will not be my last. I will be spreading the word for the hidden gem restaurant.

Repeat customer here - food is superb and the staff is amazing. HIGHLY recommend. Shrimp cocktail is amazing. The scallops are spectacular. The calamari is awesome.

I went for the oyster week special. My experience was good. Customer service 10/10. My pasta was simply okay and you really can't mess up oysters. I'd go back!

We chose Alexander Pierce for our wedding anniversary. We normally have our go to special occasion restaurants. However, we wanted to try something new. First impression, it was a little hard to locate as it's tucked away. Our gps took us to an upper parking lot that belonged to an apartment. Luckily, there was a sign that noted AP parking below so I'm assuming this happens frequently. Overall, it was a good experience. Everyone was super friendly. Upper management checked on us a few times to ensure that our dining experience was good. Our waiter was very charismatic. The food and drinks were excellent. However, a couple things that led to a 4 star review. We were seated at 7 and didn't receive our drinks until almost 7:40. I understand the bar was busy but almost 40 minutes for a drink is long. The other thing, price. We frequent many upscale establishments. However, I've never seen where a restaurant itemizes everything. I ordered a dirty martini. They charged for a drink, then an up charge for grey goose. Then 60 cents for each olive. It's minor and maybe I've never noticed this before as most restaurants just charge one price and don't show an itemization. It was just a little off putting to see an itemization especially for garnishes. All in all, we will probably return in the future for drinks and apps as it's very close to the house. However, I don't know if we will do dinner again.

I have been here twice and had the filet the first time and seafood pasta the second. Both were outstanding. This visit we tried the baked Alaska and my wife loved it. Enough said. Service is excellent and small details are important. One example is the glasses are polished to perfection- see the pictures. The restaurant is behind the building. They have a great entrance and a rat pack vibe, old school style. Highly recommended

We finally made it to the Alexander Pierce Restaurant! I wife told me about the new restaurant right before Covid and honestly I forgot about it. Anyhow, I ran across this gem a couple weeks ago when I was researching a fun new restaurant to go to with friends. The best thing about this restaurant is honestly the service. They treat you so unbelievably nice. It's ridiculous. I had a steak which I thought was good and the French onion soup was also very delicious as well. I tell you what, make sure you save room for dessert because I had some beignets and they were extremely delicious.

After my last trip, I was not sure I would visit again but here we go: 1) seafood tower- solid. 2) filet - soooo much better than last time. Cooked medium rare and whatever was smothered over it was very good 3) service was great. 4) they didn't have veuve on the menu and we had two bottles 5) service was excellent I won't wait two years to return the next time!

Food was divine! Be sure to try the white french dressing with your salad! Our waitress Desiree was very attentive and personable. Will definitely ask for her on our next visit!

We dined at Alexander Pierce for the first time a few weeks back, which resulted in mixed feelings The walkway to the restaurant was charming - outdoor seating illuminated with twinkling white lights on little trees. The decor inside was a strange mix of both modern and out-dated decor (though I did really appreciate the circular booth seating options that allowed us to sit next to rather than across from each other). As for the food/drinks: -AP Stuffed Meatball ($12)- a good solid large meatball, though certainly not impressive enough to justify its price tag -Charcuterie Board ($24)- generous portions of well-paired cheeses and meats. Especially loved the sweet pickle slices. However, at its price, I would've expected some more unique cheeses -Local Green Salad w/Lemon Tumeric Ginger Vinaigrette- pleasantly surprised by the dressing and would gladly buy an entire bottle of it. -Artisan Caesar- intended to get the caesar dressing w/the local greens that came with the grill selection, but apparently just saying "caesar" means subbing in an entirely different salad. Solid dish nonetheless. -Prime Bone-In Ribeye, Medium rare ($72)- the meat itself was seasoned well, but was cooked rarer than rare. Even without cutting into it, the center of the steak was just as squishy as a raw steak. They re-fired it, which helped somewhat, but it remained rare at best. I did enjoy the fried scallions on top though! -Prime Filet Mignon, Medium rare ($62)- wonderfully seasoned with flavor well distributed throughout the steak. A bit rarer than requested, but still acceptable. -Au Gratin- super creamy and comforting. More potato-forward than cheese/cream-forward. -Loaded Baked Potato- as good as loaded baked potato gets. Great balance of ingredients and super fluffy/tender interior. -Blackberry Lemon Grass - loved this drink! It tastes like how a really good fruity shampoo smells, but in a good way and not in a soapy way -Cucumber Wasabi - more of a cucumber drink as the wasabi mostly sunk to the bottom -Bees Knees - quite strong, but otherwise not too memorable Overall, while we enjoyed ourselves, the quality and consistency do not seem to justify the steep price tag. For example, the bone-in ribeye at Marble Room in Cleveland costs just about the same as the one at AP, but its quality is undeniably far superior. Even the fatty parts of in the Marble Room steaks were consistently heavenly bits of meltiness, whereas the fat in AP's steak was just solid chunks of fat.. Would I come back? Of course, I'd love to! ... as long as I'm not the one paying the bill.

We were visiting from out of town and treated to this unique restaurant. It was interesting ambiance, hotel, theater, speakeasy, all in one. The decor was lovely and enjoyed bar area in the back more than the restaurant itself. Drinks are strong but interesting! Some of the flavor profiles may not work well, so read the details before ordering cocktails. Love the booths, comfortable for 4 and able to people watch :) We ordered special for two, 2lb tri tip steak and 4 lb lobster, they said it was for two but it could feed over 4. We had pasta bolognese, mussels, Caesar salad, truffle fries, Brussels sprouts, spinach salad and oysters. Way toooo much food but we were able to taste a little bit of everything. Steak was tender and was surprised as that cut is usually hard to prepare. We asked for medium rare, but came out more medium and the ends were well done Lobster can be hit or miss with that large of a lobster, we were fortunate it was meaty and soft, not chewy! Bolognese and cavatelli were both cooked well, and flavorful sauces. Would recommend pasta Caesar salad, interesting flavor, lacked the anchovy flavor but crisp romaine and fresh tomato's Warm spinach salad, topped with the thinnest lightly battered onion rings that were delicious! Crispy bacon and well cooked egg Brussels sprouts star of the evening perfectly charred with a hot honey drizzled. Each bite was sweet and spicy Truffle fries , need-no introduction We were so full we couldn't taste the cakes but had every intention to...next time Good solid food, service,ambiance. Very pricey, but perfect to celebrate a special evening.

Literally everything was delicious, flavorful, & all visually pleasing. i ate my king crab & shrimp before i could snap a picture. Great first time, will be back again ! Also the host was pleasant & our server Brittany was lovely.

I dined at A.P. twice before writing this review as I couldn't believe how bad the first experience was and presumed the second experience would be much better....but it wasn't. I regularly dine at Akron's higher-end steak houses such as Lanning's and Diamond Grill and was excited when I heard about a new place opening up but left twice completely disappointed. To start, the service is lacking in speed, knowledge of the menu, and got multiple items wrong both times. I don't blame any of service staff as this was likely inadequate staffing and poor training by managers/owners. The cocktails were poorly made (worst Manhattan's I've had in years), our appetizers came out cold, and worst of all, all of the steaks were of poor quality. We all ordered medium rare and only one came out correctly while the others were ranged from medium to well done. A.P. charges premium prices but delivers subpar food and service. I might visit for a happy hour but I'd make dinner reservations for somewhere else as there are much better options in town.

Ok, so I have a lot to say here. Hang tight. I normally only post 100% positive reviews. This one is mostly positive but a few not perfect. The good definitely outweigh not so great. Atmosphere is a must see! Come to eat and make sure you explore the entire place. It's pretty amazing layout with tons to offer. Service has never disappointed. Alexis in the member's only area is a gem!!! It is a bit pricey to eat here but again I am going to say worth the splurge. Appetizers are delicious but serving sizes are a bit disappointing. I am a French onion soup crazed fan. The topping on theirs is mmmmmm, spot in and delicious but the soup itself was a bit disappointing and drab, lacked flavor. The New York Sour made by Alexis is officially my new favorite and I will return time and time again for that cocktail but also for the atmosphere and food. Give them a try.

Went for the Dracula Dinner. The pre fixed menu was not even edible. The service was bad and for 2 people they put on an automatic 20% gratuity when at the bottom of the receipt it says they do so with parties of 8 or more. Reached out to number for issues on receipt and no one even replied back. So disappointing since I work in Akron and have always recommended this to clients and customers.

First time here. Everything was exellent!! From the service (Desiree) was very knowledgeable, prompt and friendly. We loved her ! We each had something different, pork chops, steak and salmon and all were superb. Drinks were fantastic. Atmosphere is elegant and on top of it all for 5 star dining prices are reasonable. We will definitely be back. Even held the door open fir us as we all left abd once again thanked us for coming and welcomed us back. We WILL be back !!

The drinks are awesome, the apps and dessert are fantastic the main meal was good but way over priced. I got the scallops and I think 4 were 55.00. My husband had duck and it had a very unique taste. The oysters Rockefeller and meatball app awesome! The carrot cake and key lime cake three thumbs up! I'd prob come back but not get a main dish, as I like making filets at home and I can easily fill up on apps/dessert. Eating in the coat room cost more but was nice touch for special occasion.

I've had some very good meals here in the past. But my meal this past Saturday was truly disappointing. Service was slow. Some items left off of our orders, drinks and a couple of sides. Two hours in, our dinners came out. My neighbor and I ordered $60 steaks; both came out overcooked and barely warm. We had brought a birthday cake and gave it to the kitchen with instructions to bring it out with candles lit as a surprise to our guest. Instead the waitress brought out dessert menus then said oops and blurted out the surprise. All this for $100 a head?

Wow! Wow! Loved everything about Alexander Pierce. This once nursing home was reincarnated and came back as an old style Rat Pack hangout. Atmosphere A+!Swanky, upbeat and so much fun. The staff is very welcoming . The bar has an amazing array of martinis and an entertaining engaging singer. The building is also home to a private social club, private movie suites and a Speakeasy. Now for the food...yes. I imagine that you can't go wrong with anything, but I can certainly vouch for the mussels and scallops. I encourage you to order them, unless you have a problem with garlic or are planning on a romantic evening with someone who didn't join you for dinner.

Well my boyfriend surprised me for our 1 yr anniversary here and I was blown away. From our private tour to a dozen roses waiting at our table. Everything was delicious! Not to mention they now have members only speakeasy and cigar lounge and cinema suites! Ohh we shall be back! Absolutely the best night ever!

Wanted to take a moment to tell everyone how awesome this place is! We were looking for a nice restaurant to host my father in laws birthday, and we were looking for a private dining experience. Not a ton of options out there, and the ones that we did find were booked up. We had heard of Alexander Pierce from friends, and had been looking to try it. My wife called and they said their rooms for hosting a group our size were booked, but had we considered a screen room. We asked what the heck a screen room was, and they told us it was a private dining room, can hold up to six people, and it came with a free movie rental on them. We were dining with our toddler, so we thought, why not? Something to keep him entertained. So the day comes, and we arrive. They take us to this room, and it has a table set for six people, a private bathroom, and a little tv on the wall. I was thinking okay, kinda gimmicky, but no big deal. The waiter showed us around the room, and I had missed a curtain when we walked in. He pulled back the curtain, and there was a "movie theater" room in the back. One whole wall was the screen, surround sound, leather recliners. Just really cool. We had pre ordered some apps, Bruschetta Flatbread and a Stuffed Meatball. Really, really good! The meatball was our favorite! Their homemade tomato sauce is so good! The waiter had given us a buzzer, and pretty much left us alone except to check on drinks, so we buzzed him and he came right away to order dinner. I ordered the Aukra Salmon, which was served with blistered tomatoes, spinach and a fresh citrus buerre blanc. I also opted for a wedges salad and crispy Brussel sprouts! Everything was absolutely wonderful! The salmon was cooked perfectly, the buerre blanc adding nice hits of acid, along with the slightly charred tomatoes. The brussel sprouts had a bit of heat to them, were crunchy and charred, just great! Everyone else opted for different types of pasta except my father in law. The pasta is made in house and everyone enjoyed it a lot. My father in law ordered the pork chop, which came with a bourbon fig glaze. He wasn't able to finish it, so we all were able to take a bite. It may have been the best piece of pork I've ever eaten! Seasoned well, smokey bourbon with sweet fig, tender, juicy, perfection! Now onto dessert! My wife ordered for the table and we split everything. Delicious cheesecake, one of the best chocolate cakes I've ever had, and stuffed beignets. Wow, what a meal! We finished dinner and still had time to go watch a movie in the back. Really, really wonderful experience!

After a not so great experience back in October, we decided to give Alexander Pierce another chance. We had a lovely dinner last night. Desiree, our server, was excellent and attentive to our needs. The food was great and the holiday atmosphere was great. Will definitely have Alexander Pierce in our group dinner rotation.

Entree: Bone in Ribeye w/ Crispy Brussels Sprout Who doesn't like steak? We've been eyeing this restaurant for a while and finally made it out for Valentines Day. Started with the stuffed meatball and we devoured it, absolutely delicious!!! Next the side salad with an amazing white French dressing. The steak... the steak is why I came and why I'll go back. Cooked to perfection and perfectly paired with the honey sriracha Brussels spout. This review is from the hubs and so happy he enjoyed it because the pasta was amazing and I want to go back for more and more and more!!! The service here is exceptional!!! The vibe is cool and you won't be disappointed. If it weren't for the crisis we are in right now we would be here like everyday!!! Entree: Bolognese Pasta Bowl I am usually a fan of a darker red sauce so when the dish came out I was a little disappointed but after my first bite I was pleasantly surprised. I loved the thicker noodles and they were cooked on point! I would have liked more noodles with the sauce (because I am greedy that way) and the option to add a meatball but it was great and I would order this again! The Meatball App was amazing and I will order that every time! The bread came out warm and was an added bonus! What I loved most about this place was the service. Desiree was a delight and she was very attentive and took great care of us! We had several people come over and ask us how we were and how the food was. They held the door for us when we came in and when we left and they even took a Valentines Day pic and printed it and gave it to us in a cute frame! There is something for everyone to enjoy at this restaurant! Small bar, speak easy type hidden bar. Also has date night special rooms with a tv room for dinner and a movie.

I called about seeing the facility for a small wedding vow exchange and dinner. I met with Mindy who is responsive, knowledgeable, and accommodating. At the end of the tour, my daughter and I had lunch and it was perfect from beginning to end. Our server was very attentive and our glasses were always full. My daughter has a vegan diet and didn't have a hard time finding something. She opted for a flatbread pizza, minus cheese. I was instantly drawn to the warm spinach salad which was delicious. It had the perfect amount of dressing and everything else. Portions were on par and the prices were inline with the quality. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. They are very hospitable and we will return for our wedding. We are getting married in their ballroom and having guests stay in the suites which are amazing! Other reviewers commented that it isn't easy to find. Instead of looking for a sign that sticks out perpendicular to the building, look for "797" in big numbers on the front of the building. Parking lot is somewhat private. We went during lunch but I would feel safe in the evening.

We went to celebrate my 60th birthday. Our first time. The atmosphere was very nice. And the prices reflect that. Which we were ok with that at first. We were seated in the bar area (not ideal as our servers make the drinks for the restaurant as well) so that really slowed up our service on all levels. We sat for 20 minutes before we were asked if we wanted bread. I got the chefs special (chicken and waffles) which consisted of 2 very thin and small waffles, 3 small breaded chicken tenders, very small amount of collard greens and a large puddle of sauce for $35!!!!!! Big disappointment. My husband got the sirloin and enjoyed that. As I mentioned we had servers ( yes 2 servers). The gals were very nice however for the prices and as upscale as the restaurant is we felt there was no flow to our meal. We gave ourselves plenty of time for dinner before our show and due to how slow each step was we had to eat fast. Pack up some food and go. Wish I had taken a pic of my dish. Just know stay home save the $130 and make yourself a nice dinner at home.

First time dining here.....the food and the service was amazing! We started with the Oysters Rockefeller, which were the best we have ever had. The bone in Ribeye and Filet were cooked perfectly to our preference. We loved the ambiance of the restaurant....the music and the decor was spot on! Well worth the drive for us and we will be making it again and again.

I went to Alexander Pierce for a business dinner and it was phenomenal. Hospitality - fantastic Food - amazing, delicious and just phenomenal. Drinks - fabulous Overall it's got this Manhattan theme that defines it as a phenomenal classic restaurant.

Wow, what a pleasant surprise. You enter this space through a narrow lane off East Market street, it's hard to spot... once you make it to the ample off street rear parking lot, you begin to realize this may be worth the hunt. They have a cool patio-deck area which could be used for outdoor seating in warmer months. The reception and bar area is small but the tin ceiling and decorations give a cool vibe... also; since it does not have high ceilings it somehow seems more intimate. We had the scallops... OK very good. The cocktails were perfect. The Guitar player, was excellent. Somehow the take away is greater than the sum of the parts. Like being invited to your rich friends recreation room. Very cool

Very cool new gem in Akron. It's in a neighborhood that I never would think to visit, but so worth a trip. The service was fantastic. Our server was Lindsay and she was great! We had the charcuterie appetizer, as well as the meatball. There were three of us, and I wish that the one large meatball would have been formed into three smaller meatballs to make it a little less awkward. The charcuterie was fantastic. My one friend had the pork chop which he loved, and my other friend had the pasta bolognese. It was a bit al dente, but he also had a side of the mashed potatoes, which I tasted, and they were delicious. I had a salad that was featured as a special that night, with grilled shrimp on top. The shrimp was very peppery and salty, but the salad itself, with the house dressing was delicious. I also had a loaded baked potato, which was huge and very good. We had the banana bread pudding for dessert, and it was pretty yummy. Cute ambiance and nice service. I would love to come back and try something else.

A bit pricey but absolutely lovely; brought family here before a show and it mellowed us out and was a great way to be satisfied. Be sure to make a reservation!

Food is worth every penny!!!! Service was great. Our waitress had very thorough knowledge of the menu and had excellent recommendations. I can't remember her name, she showed our party the suites upstairs and the private rooms. Need to go back to sit on the rooftop!

Food and service was amazing! Olivia and Julie made my birthday great!! Only reason I did not give 5 stars was food was not hot when it came out but it was still a great experience.

food was Ok, drinks are way over priced. almost double what they should be. $18 martini, and small martini at that. they charge $1.00 for olives in the over priced drink. vod and soda $13. ‍ you would think I was in New York City. not a very good value, real cool atmosphere. Don't think I will go back.

This was the first time I had visited this restaurant. Start to finish, perfect. The food was amazing. The waiter was very attentive and very very proud of the restaurant, you could tell. The owner came to our table and humbly thanked us and told us about all of the mid-week specials and offered us to tour the rest of the restaurant. I can't say enough. GO!

Wonderful experience! Can't believe I didn't know about this place before. Already planning to come back with the family to celebrate a birthday. Service was very attentive and pleasant. Food was delicious, great drink selection. Worth it.

One of Akron's hidden gems. Excellent service and top quality staff. Seafood offerings were exceptional for an Ohio restaurant.
