Alexander The Great Beach Hotel

Similar to other reviews I wanted to record how excellent this hotel is. We stayed for a week early Jan on a half board plus basis and we found everything to be outstanding. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for the guests. Our room was very nice with a sea view so we were able to watch the sun setting each night from our balcony. The room was kept clean by the hotel staff and we were even left chocolates in the room each day which was a nice touch. The food in the hotel was excellent with lots of choice available. Drinks were reasonably priced in the hotel bar. Our thanks to all the hotel staff and to the hotel management who obviously take pride in running what is an excellent hotel.

Excellent staff, polite, they went over and above to please their guests, special thanks to kids club lady who spent many hours with our daughter and made her (and us!) so happy! My daughter was asking again and again when she can go back to the kids club! Excellent breakfast and dinner! Excellent cocktails at the bar and coffee/tea! Great views , great location! Very well maintained. Spa and and pool area clean and beautiful! Very good gym. Nothing to complain about! We really loved our stay there! I even forgot something in the room and when I called them they said they found it and they will send it to me. We had an excellent stay there and we will definitely go back!!

I had an unforgettable stay! Upon check-in, we received welcome drinks, and the hotel surprised me with a free upgrade to a "sea facing" room with a private pool. The staff were super friendly and attentive – one even brought me chocolates on my last day! The heated pool was perfect for winter, and the hotel is right by the beach with stunning views, plus it's walking distance to the town center. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, and thoughtful details like two types of pillows made my stay extra comfortable. Highly recommend this hotel for its great service, location, and amenities!

I stayed at this hotel with my mum. We had a wonderful time, the only let down was our first 'side view room' which was very dark and overlooked mainly the road. Fortunately the staff were great and managed to change our room to twin bedded, further from the road. The only downside was that it was interconnecting rooms and they are not very soundproofed. The food is very good! Dinner changes daily and there is plenty of choice for everybody. We had a couple of cocktails in the Pool bar, they were very tasty. The location is also very good! Just a short walk from Paphos promenade. The public areas are wonderfully done, rooms need a bit of TLC but they have kettles, which is a big plus.

Excellent 4 star hotel with 5 star aspects; the luxury public area, bars and restaurants are wonderful, what you would expect from a luxury hotel. Food is first class. The staff are tremendous very professional and eager to please. Loved the ambience, Thank you all. A big thank you to the staff at the New Year Party you were all amazing, Thank you Chefs. This is a wonderful hotel and many will agree Food was great Staff very helpful overall excellent. Our room was very good but looked a little bit tired in places, the grouting in the bathroom needed attention as an example. Loved this hotel overall and will book again.

From the moment we arrived at the Alexander The Great Beach Hotel, we knew we were in for a treat. Our room was spacious, light-filled, and beautifully appointed, reflecting the hotel's classic yet relaxed ambiance. The hotel's facilities are top-notch, including fitness centre, indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, and a variety of dining options that cater to all tastes. The staff at Alexander The Great Beach Hotel are exceptionally friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with any requests or recommendations. The live entertainment and activities provided ensured that there was never a dull moment during our stay. Overall, our experience at the Alexander The Great Beach Hotel was nothing short of exceptional. We left feeling rejuvenated and already planning our next visit.

I chose this because it had so many 5* reviews and wow you can see why!. This is an outstanding hotel. Stayed “out of season” so it was relatively quiet and also cheap, very cheap. The outdoor pool backs onto a footpath that takes you down to the harbour and marina with restaurants. It backs straight onto the Mediterranean and you can hear the sea lapping at the rocks. If you walk a little further down you can go to a swimming area that has private changing rooms and an area to get changed in privacy. There’s plenty of little convenience stores and restaurants within walking distance and the 612 bus from Pafos Airport drops and picks up just down the street. The Kings Avenue Mall is also within walking distance (about a mile or so) and the water park is a bus ride away. ||The room was spacious, with good aircon and a door/window that opens to let air in.
