Restaurant scene is awesome. A little taste of the past. Waitress recommended the lasagna and it was on point! The lasagna was cheesy and the meat sauce was perfect. Go out and check out this gem.

Would just like to mention the lady who took my order and cashed me out was super nice! The food was also amazing and the portions were great. This was our first time having dinner from here and we will definitely go back!

Alexander's, located in a well kept mini mall was perfect. Had long flight from Madison, WI. Looking for a local restaurant. That was low-key, comfortable & good food. Walked from my hotel, great local Italian menu. Salad was totally fresh & tasty, excellent Italian dressing. Small meatball grinder was very filling with four filling meatballs & tasty sauce. Staff is very cheerful & welcoming.

I get food here at least once or twice a month, as a fun little dinner date. All the staff are super friendly and the food is consistently amazing. The atmosphere cant be beat, and the service is incredible. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to get a good meal without breaking the bank

Needed to order a pizza on my way home from work, ordered the “white vegetable” as it looked delicious, I added chicken too and it exceeded my expectations! Will definitely be trying this place again. Perfect timing as well, it was ready in 20 minutes and I brought it home still hot!

It's such a comfortable hometown restaurant. Best fish and chips in Western MA Took some clients, they had Manicotti lunch special and both of them were extremely happy. Vin had a desert, checkout pic. *Lemon marcapone pie

Food was prepared well. Service was good though attendance was light. The place is clean but plain and I really enjoyed the fried shrimp.

Amazing food made to order made with quality ingredients. Great service. Portion sizes are amazing I always have leftovers for lunch the next day. Highly recommend

A nice low key restaurant. Plenty of parking. Menu quite varied with some Greek selections. Portions quite hefty. Nice homemade soups. Staff quiet but efficient. The ambiance is quiet and homey, prices in mid-range. I go there every once in awhile, usually alone and feel very comfortable. It is a nice family owned local restaurant

I ordered the take out chicken parm dinner...this is only half of what was in the container! HUGE portions. Also came with another bread and bowl of amazing soup. Did I mention the huge portions?

Craving pizza one night while staying at the Comfort Inn down the road I decided to taste what Alex G had to offer. Started out with a house salad: Lettuce was a little brown. The blue cheese dressing was good, but you can never go wrong with blue cheese. Next moved on to a medium Pep and Mush Pizza: Pizza arrived and I dug in. From the first bite I was disappointed. Cut like a Chicago Thin crust pizza, the dough was mediocre and too thick. The cheese was a little bland and the mushrooms were of the canned variety. Conclusion: If you are looking for pizza in Ludlow, don't go to Alex G.

This place sucks. There are cobwebs. The mushrooms are from a can when there's a produce store right down the road. Their food is overpriced by at least two dollars per item. The only time I went there: The waitress didn't tell me that the dish I was eating out of came straight out of the oven. Reaching across the table to grab something, I brushed up against it and I have a scar from the burn. The waitress took away my plate, uneaten, like I asked, and then had the balls to charge us for the plate. When I refused and asked to speak to someone in charge, she sent me another woman with an attitude, trying to tell me that "Everyone knows our dishes come out of the oven." Well, apparently "everyone" doesn't know that.

Alexanders has EVERYTHING you can imagine on the menu, seafood and Italian dishes are on point. My go-to dishes are the Scallops (comes with clam chowder/salad, baked potato, and coleslaw) and the Chicken-broccoli penne. The food is GENUINELY WELL COOKED AND TASTY. The VARIETY on their menu is expansive. Solid food for a solid price. My favorite restaurant in Ludlow with unforgettable memories!

Customer service was terrible. The waitress who took my to go order didn't say a word or even smile. The meatball calzone was not that great-it's a decent size but had hardly any meatballs. It is usually very good. Disappointed with the service today!

Great Food. Great place to take the family. Overall, we love it every time we go here... I suggest the seafood, its some of the best in town.. I might even go as far as to say best in surrounding towns, too.

My wife and I, along with several friends, have frequented Alexander's a whole year now and find it to be equal to the best upscale places. In our weekly experience, they rate a five star for family atmosphere, menu variety, good food, service, courtesy and cleanliness, all with fair competitive pricing. We have been there in past years too and never experienced comments in the two low ratings out of five. When considering ratings, it is best to look at how old the rating is, and number of reviews. A higher number of reviews give a better indication since too few reviews can lower the rating to levels unfair to an establishment. Reviews with the latest dates are the ones to decide on. Good establishments, like Alexander's always strive to improve. This shows by all the people who go there and is what makes them tops in the restaurant business.

I stopped in at Alexander's for the first time today. I ordered a grilled chicken sandwich with French fries. The sandwich was tasty, but a little stringy and with too much mayo. The fries, though, were delicious - golden, crispy, soft in the middle. Some of the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is homey and comfortable, the service is quick and friendly, and the price was very reasonable - I'd expect to pay $5 more at Friendly's down the street. I'd definitely eat here again.

Place has terrible service. Overpriced. Waitress spends her time talking with other customers and does not return to check on our table. Another waitress helped us while the other waitress continued talking. Then she expected a tip from us. TIP: Get a different job...

As a local who grew up in Ludlow, I will always come home to visit family, and when I do, I always choose Alexanders for their fantastic Manicotti. They have some of the best Italian food around, and all at a great price. $10 is a steal for the amount of food provided. And the service is always great, very pleasant servers who are kind and prompt. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for fine, local cuisine.
