Alexandra Barcelona Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton

Excellent staff which made my visit a wonderful experience. The hotel has a vintage feel yet it was extremely clean. The bar is nice for a small meal and some beverages. They have Iberico Ham hanging in the window and a great view of people walking along the street. The lobby area had a library feel to it in decor and and the elevators were functioning well. This hotel seems to be 2 buildings connected at different times. The pool area is very tranquil and private. There is also a nice cafe and bar area in close proximity. My room had a wonderful and large bathroom and the bed was very comfortable. I was very surprised at how great the shower was and use of the blow dryer with great power. |Overall, this hotel is really fantastic and the service is really outstanding. Thank you to the bell service, front desk, and Juanjo for making this stay excellent. I would love to stay here again.

We check out if this hotel yesterday and we loved its location and friendliness of employees. Alexandra hotel located right at the center between two major busy streets where you can find multiple stores, restaurants and other venues. We took tour bus around Barcelona and stop was a few minutes walk around the corner. Walk to Sagrada like 20-25 minutes. We loved breakfast there. During our travel we saw different one but this one was compact but with everything you need, fresh, the dont put too much of different product on shelf but for example made several fried eggs put in the buffet and as soon as they run out several more made again, everything look great and fresh. Here we come to main point and thus is employees. We were observed their great work and how they replenish everything and keep it clean. They take great pride in their work and we also want to mentioned one gentleman who with his wonderful smile and service went above and beyond. Unfortunately I cant recall his name but from conversation later understand that he may retire soon. This hotel luvky to have employees like him. Front desk staff, bellman all went above and beyond. Please compliment them for making our stay great.

Check in and out was fast and easy. We were early so they stowed our bags, called when the room was ready, (before check in time) and when we got back our bags were in the room. Everything was very clean, our room attendant made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was very good with a large selection. They booked a tour for us and directed us to places of interest. Also arranged cabs that came very quickly. I liked to location and found 2 very good restaurants close by. Also a grocery store a few doors down. There is a bus stop there also. I felt safe day and night. Johnny was very helpful and professional. The entire staff were helpful and friendly. We were able to get a late check out.

Highly recommend this hotel! This was our second stay at this hotel in Barcelona. Exceptional staff - always went out of their way to ensure an amazing experience. The breakfast had a large selection of fresh foods - always hit the spot! The location was wonderful - walking distance to a lot of Barcelona must see attractions. Quiet neighborhood, with many quaint restaurants, cafes, and shopping. Kudos to Alexandra Barcelona Hotel. We enjoyed our time so much, we have already booked another future stay!

Perfect location with restaurants and amazing shopping steps away. Rooms are exceptionally clean and well-appointed. Entire hotel is fresh, clean, beautiful. Hotel Staff could not have been more welcoming. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. This hotel is a gem, but it is the staff who make it absolutely over-the-top excellent. A+++.

We had an amazing stay! We stayed post cruise. It was our first time in Barcelona. The staff were very helpful and accommodating from the moment we walked in the hotel. Hotel is very centrally located and all the attractions are walkable. The breakfast was fabulous. The staff went extra mile to make our stay comfortable. The pool area is very relaxing. The bartender at the bar by the pool prepared cheese plate for us with wine which was amazing. The room was clean and well decorated. Bed was very comfortable. We will definitely be back!!!

The location was perfect, the staff were wonderful. The breakfast was the best I’ve had at a hotel ever! For dinner I had the stroganoff which was very tender and flavorful. Over all, I highly recommend this hotel. Great value.

Barcelona is a wonderful city to visit... it offers wid range of activities for everyone. Staying at Alexandra Barcelona Hotel is a great decision we made when planning our itinerary in Barcelona. From the moment we checked in, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful and attentive to our needs. And they genuinely care about our safety, constant reminders of being watchful in crowed areas. The hotel has a very nice pool area and the terrace offers a relaxing area for afternoon hangout. We would like to say "Thank You" to the entire staff: the front desk, the food and beverage, and the housekeeping.
