Alexandra Barcelona Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton

My partner and I had a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were super helpful and wonderful, I hadn’t been able to obtain tickets to attractions as they were sold out and the hotel team were able to sort them out for me which I was ever so grateful for! They also recognized diamond status as well and gifted complimentary drinks. With regards to the onsite facilities, the pool area and bar was a particular standout and a lovely place to relax during the day. I also used the gym which had good technology equipment however it was quite small. We also had breakfast as well in the hotel which was a small range compared to other Hilton’s but sufficient. On the whole we had a great stay and would happily return!

This is a very comfortable hotel for US travelers. All the staff speak some English and the bess are comfy and rooms are quiet. Nice bathrooms and great climate control. The staff are so hospitable and offers us water during the check in process and we really appreciated that. The staff also helped us to our room and showed us around a little lime where the light switches are. Pro tip. When you bring a converter, get one with USB ports be ause there are limited USB ports next to the bed.

My husband and I arrived in Barcelona from a cruise and spent two days at the Alexandra before flying home. The service was excellent. They received us immediately from our taxi and checked our bags and took our contact information and let us know as soon as our room was available. And when we came back to check in and rest our bags were in our room waiting for us. The rooms were very well kept and the front desk staff and bell staff took care of everything for us during our stay. The breakfast was very nice and well organized. Bonus: The hotel has an ice machine, so rare in Europe, but much appreciated by this American. They had arranged for a taxi to pick us up and take us to the airport upon our departure and the bellman assisted us with our bags that morning. Everything went swimmingly well. If you want a stress free experience in Barcelona, I would recommend this hotel.

My wife and Istayed at this hotel for several nights. We have traveled extensively for many years, and I have to say that this hotel had the highest level of hospitality that I have experienced. The staff was friendly and efficient and went out of their way to be extremely helpful; guiding us on our excursions and journeys. |The facility itself is very clean and modern and pleasant. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Alexandra Hotel is in a prime location near many of the top sights, as well as top restaurants and shopping areas. Just a block away you can get in the "Hop on Hop Off" bus and see all the beautiful attractions. The staff at the hotel is top notch and helped us with that 4:30am taxi to the airport, as well as great restaurant recommendations. Since we arrived first thing in the morning on a cruise ship, they held our bags until check in so we could explore the city. Will definitely stay there on our next visit to Barcelona.

I was very impressed with the standard of service, the check in was pleasant and efficient. I had a lovely room with a brilliant shower! Each day I felt that the room cleaning staff had gone the extra mile. I had a three day stay for business and will definitely return. If you are looking to be made to feel at home while away, this is the place to go! Thank you so much!

This is a 5++ hotel for sure. First let's start with people as people make places. The people and the service at this hotel are world class - from the front desk to the restaurant/bar/pool staff to the security and the cleaning crew. They are top notch professionals who are kind, understanding, welcoming, fast to react and do everything possible to make you feel comfortable and your stay unforgettable. The restaurants and bars offer everything you need - great food, drinks and outstanding service. The pool and the gym are great - providing you just enough to cool off, relax and work off that fabulous tapas :), The rooms are great - all are different - yet they are all roomy, comfy, have great AC, and are super clean. The beds are very comfy as are the pillows. You will sleep well here for sure as well as eat, drink and socialise (if you want). We travel all over the world and by far, this hotel ticks all the boxes. It feels like home and deserves 5+ stars. Thank you everyone at Hotel Alexandra for being outstanding. :)

Location is excellent, close to many restaurants and cafes. All the staff I interacted with are friendly and helpful. Room is spacious enough for 2 people but furniture is old. Bathroom walls are not tiled and needs to be renovated.
