"Right on Grace Bay, a Revered Favorite Named after the reef it overlooks, the Alexandra Resort, located about halfway down Provo's famed beauty, Grace Bay Beach, is a great spot for families or couples. Rooms are in groups of four-story buildings circling a lagoon-style swimming pool. There is also 600 feet of pink-sand beach in front of the hotel leading directly into the emerald waters of the South Atlantic. Beyond its mid-range accommodations and excellent location, the Alexandra recently debuted a new restaurant, Asu, which has a fantastic location right on the beach and does a barefoot al fresco dinner -- book for sunset and then after the sky blackens lantern baskets provide a romantic glow."

Beautiful place. Our rooms are nice and comfortable. Check in and our bellhop were nice and friendly. The food has been great. Especially the Jerk bbq chicken! Milan at the steakhouse was an exceptional waiter! His service was amazing. Wilkins the bartender is another exceptional employee, he was great. Only two complaints I have. The main pool bar closes early, 5:30. And the bartender there during our current stay isn’t the friendliest. The beach area is also great. And the lite beer is also good, if you’re an Ultra, bud light or coors light drinker.

Ill start with the positive: Room was great and always clean. Beach was gorgeous and the water was amazing. They advertised several restaurants but 4 or 5 were food trailers that guests could not order from without a staff member, which took a very long time. The "better" restaurants needed a reservation which was almost impossible to get. Staff seemed to be botheredand uninterested when you asked them a question. Not sure if it was a language barrier or they just could not be bothered. This was also the first all inclusive resort when the staff expected tips. Had one staff member, after dropping off my bags stand , n the kitchen area until I gave him money..be prepared w plenty of $1 & $5 bills. Do not find a bartender and give them the usual $$$ expecting to see them again and have them take care of you. That is non-existent like other resorts. Do mot expect to be served on the beach or by the pool. Everything other than the restaurants is self.serve. Not sure if I will ever return to this.island again!

Just returned from 6 nights at Alexandra - 5 people in a 2BR 2.5 bath renovated room! I’ll share what we liked and what was lacking. Seasoned traveler - AA executive platinum and titanium elite Marriott member- accustomed to quality service. Been to most all Caribbean islands. First visit to Turks ||The good:|Check in - easy, fast and friendly and one of our best check in experiences |Nice cool towel and rum punch upon arrival |Bracelets are your room key/ one got too tight and they replaced it |Golf cart ride to our room - handled luggage |The whole reason to visit here is Grace Bay Beach! Access to paddleboards, kayaks and ocean trampoline are bonus!|Nice spacious room that has an in unit washer/dryer (however we asked in advance if we’d have one and was told no) and a great patio and view that we adored |Beds including pull out couch were comfortable. (Pillows however were not) |Resort never felt crowded|When something went wrong or we needed something and asked Alexandra did made it right. They seem to operate on the “just ask” mantra - however shouldn’t have to ask for some things for cost / service expected |Loved the Truck Stop food - fish tacos, skewers, Mac / Cheese, salads were all divine! Black rock was also good.|Access to Blue Haven - we preferred the look/feel vibe and service received at the sister Blue Haven resort. But it’s not on Grace Bay beach. Beach service as soon as we settled in and great drinks at Blue Haven and water had several tanning floats; pool at BH was clean and cool |There are some employees working really hard at both properties |Pool party hosts / beach games staff at both resorts do a great job! ||Areas for improvement / recommendations:|Mainly service, lack of organization, and inconsistency…there are some employees doing much of nothing at some restaurants at the beach |No bottled water in room upon long day of travel arrival - we asked and they did stock it |TV didn’t work - they fixed it |Room servicing was just inconsistent - one day no washcloths, one no hand towels, others no sugar or creamer for coffee |The floors in the room were quite dirty - our feet were black from walking around after showers/ could have asked them to mop but shouldn’t have to …|Need new beach cushions, everyone combines two and they are falling apart and some are really moldy |No beach chair / towel service you find at other resorts ; we also experienced no beach service for drinks when sitting to the right but the employee in the brimmed hat is working hard to the left! Wish we knew earlier |The saving beach seats situation can get ridiculous and shouldn’t be allowed - went several mornings to actually sit and read and swim and all first two rows were saved and literally no one was on the beach for hours|Food was just okay ; most vacations we have several outstanding meals - we did not experience that here - black rock and truck stop were above average! |Restaurant Reservations system … Echo other bad situation reviews, I’ve never experienced such disorganization and confusion by staff |We arrived Sunday between 4-6 and hadn’t eaten all day - there was nothing open|Was told we could not make any reservations in advance; arrived and was told there are no same day reservations using the QR codes - told us we could walk to each restaurant and see if they had an open table- none did |Told come back at 9 pm or order take out |So after paying $14k - $2500 night for all inclusive we ate below average food out of cardboard boxes … no drinks - it took 3 people to figure out how to order us take out and while ordering 2 groups who thought they had reservations were also turned away (on Father’s Day) and told that all 3 restaurants on property were booked that night - something is clearly broken here … not the best first day impression |So if you come here be ready to have to possibly go eat off property or eat take out |Spa - this is not a spa but a renovated hotel room. Worst “spa” experience I’ve had- had an appt for a 80 min massage day 1 - phone ringing, knocking on door, therapist left massage twice to answer the door then arguing with someone in lobby who also had an appt at the same time which then ended the massage due to interruptions - they offered to give me a beach bag in my room which I never received and a free massage which I accepted and it was a 30 minute average massage |Coffee in room is not good at all if you are a coffee drinker|Drinks are weak or alcohol seems watered down ; were def better at Blue Haven and at Alexandra’s Coconut Hut main bar than other locations (like beach, restaurants or pool) |Recommend the little tabletop fans that keep flys away from food ||Take Note:|All restaurants are outside and no fans except the Sushi restaurant and Asi breakfast - pack accordingly |Recommend bringing your Yeti or Stanley for drinks; bartenders will fill them up for you and there are water stations as well |Took a taxi to grocery store - $12 there and $20 back |Can get take out boxes for breakfast if you want to eat in room or on beach |Smoothie bar has fruit and food on the go and coffee drinks - recommend the rum cream! |If you’re an early riser get towels in the evening to take to your room to use the next morning

The Alexandra Resort was everything I needed for my vacation. The resort was beautiful, clean, and fun. The rooms and patios were very spacious. The food was delicious with tons of options. Jerk chicken from Sylvie was a daily MUST! The staff were so pleasant and friendly which truly made my trip enjoyable. From checkin with Claude, daily encounters with Kimron, events hosted by cheeky, marshmallow roasting and band performance with Shaq, water aerobics with Tash and Lettuce, amazing service from Sudion and Valery. I couldn’t have asked for more. These ppl truly made me feel welcome, appreciated and taken care of. I also loved the wide range of activities planned everyday. I didn’t have to leave the resort to have a good time. Bingo, trivia, wine tasting, rum tasting, silent glow party, steel band performance, just to make a few. There was so much to do. I most definitely will be returning!

This was one of the Best Vacations that I have ever taken. The staff, resort, amenities and oh my the beach were amazing. Rhazzor and the rest of the guys and gals were Top Notch. They kept things fun. Ex: Soccer, Volleyball, Drinking Games, Karaoke, Bingo, Musical Chairs, etc. The food was great. Get the Jerk Chicken at the beach grill and the Pepper Shrimp at the Black Rock steak house. Breakfast was great every day. The wait staff were great for every meal. I would recommend the snorkeling excursion. It was fantastic.||There were very few cons with this trip. The main one was The Fish Deck. I was not impressed at all with it. They basically ran out of food the night we went. We went once, and I did not even want to attempt to go back. Rhazzor, thank you for what you know you did for me.||Suggestion for the resort - Add fans at Black Rock and get all the bikes up and going, ||Final Thoughts - Do not be concerned with picking this resort and taking this trip. I wish that I could have stayed longer. Above all, Participate in everything. No one knows you, enjoy life, and try new things. For the owners of the resort, you have an great staff all around. Take care of them and they will continue to take care of you. I hope to be able to return one day.||Eternally Grateful|Robert Frazier

Stayed a week at Alexandra Resort. Check in was easy. The food is good at the restaurants. Breakfast buffet is good and plentiful. The beach is amazing and beautiful. The pool is large with a swim up bar. There’s nightly entertainment and afternoon beach activities. Drinks are good and they don’t skimp on the alcohol. Local beer is good too. All the staff works very hard. From the bartenders to the cooks to the groundskeepers and housekeeping. The resort is kept clean and orderly. |All the staff were friendly and accommodating. |Shout out to:|Tash and Kimron. They are great entertainers and good to talk to. Very friendly. |Skyers works the bar tirelessly. He’s always happy. Good to talk to and handles multiple orders with an amazing memory. He makes really good drinks. |Of course our favorite is Kaelin! She is so pleasant to talk to and makes the best drinks! No matter where we were- beach, pool, restaurant- I always looked for her and returned to the bar she was working. It’s 100% worth it to make the journey to where she is. She was our favorite. Thank you Kaelin- it was very nice to meet you. Hope you’re there when we come back. |Already planning a return to Alexandra for the winter. I loved the resort and the beach but it was the staff that made it a great vacation.

We went from June 13 - June 18. Resort was a 15-20 minute drive from the airport. Weather was excellent with cool breezes in morning & evening. Sun was hot (85 dregees) in afternoon but plenty of places to eat your meals in doors or in covered tables. Many of choices as to where & type of food to enjoy in the All Inclusive Resort.|Without exclusion all were very helpful including Claudy who printed my Jet Blue Boarding forms when leaving. Will definitely return. John Islip ny

Absolutely blown away by Alexandra Resort. My wife and I had an amazing stay on our honeymoon. There is so much to do. Amazing food. So much variety of food throughout the week. Different events every night that take place. The staff is very professional and very friendly. Beautiful pool and beach. And I cannot forget to mention, Sylvie makes the BEST jerk chicken, rice and other fixings!!!! Highly highly recommend booking your next trip/vacation here!
