Nice hometown diner style restaurant. A long-standing staple in the Wadsworth community. Eat at the counter, a table, or in the booths. Friendly, clean, and delightful choices on the menu and their specials. You shouldn't leave hungry or unsatisfied. The coffee is really good, too.

Busy on a Sunday morning. We had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated. Alexandria breakfasts are typical fare. They offer your basic eggs, meats, breakfast potato, omelets, pancakes, and French toast. I had the eggs with hash browns and sausage links. The hash brown portion was very generous, enough for three people. The food was good, eggs were cooked properly, and the sausage browned perfectly. I prefer my hash browns a bit more crispy. These were crispy on the outside but soft inside. My wife did like her French toast. Our waitress was pleasant and friendly. A nice breakfast for the price.

Happened to be in the area and wanted to try a new place for breakfast. The reviews were all good and now I know why. We arrived around 10 am on Saturday morning and did have a little bit of a wait but we were able to shop nearby until we were called on our buzzer. We love supporting family-owned businesses as opposed to restaurant chains. The food was plentiful and delicious! Especially, their fried potatoes. I'm not even a potato person and I could not stop eating them. Honestly, I don't know what they do different but I'm glad they do what they do. We will most definitely be back next time we are in the area.

We enjoyed Alexandris for breakfast. Based on the name, we thought it might be a bit upscale. However, it is very much a classic neighborhood diner kind of place. We had the southwestern breakfast skillet, avocado toast, and a parfait. I like to reserve 5 stars for food that really caught my attention for quality, so I gave this 4 stars for being good. Our server was friendly and unobtrusive. Everything came out exactly as we had ordered it. Overall a very fine experience.

We stayed in town while attending a concert at Blossom Music Center. I met up with an old friend while in town and she recommended Alexandris if we were looking for a place to have breakfast in the morning. I am so glad she did. I love the little town atmosphere of Wadsworth, and this little diner fit perfectly! We were greeted by the hostess upon entering and we had the choice of either a table or the counter. We chose the counter. Everyone in there is so pleasant and attentive. Didn't take long for our food. The food was superb! They even add a little decoration on the plate, even for breakfast! I had a Belgium waffle and a side of bacon. There was a nice scoop of butter on the waffle and the syrup does not have high fructose corn syrup in it. I only recently that I can not have it because it will upset my stomach later, so I completely forgot and put a nice helping of syrup on my waffle. Later as I was remembering how good the food way, I realized my stomach was not bothered by it, so I do not think the syrup has the high fructose in it. Their prices are very reasonable as well. I will definitely be back if I am ever in the area. I have to try the lunch and dinner options of course! 😉

Great place! The food was excellent. I got the Italian burger and hubby got the Texas BBQ burger. 😋 the onion rings were great too. The staff is really friendly and helpful. We'll be back!

My wife and I visited Alexandris on a Saturday around noon after our daughter's cross-country race. There was a 10 minute wait which we visited the spice and tea shop next door. Once seated, we got our drinks, and it took another few minutes for our waitress to take our order which was to be expected during their busy lunch rush. My wife ordered the Greek Skillet (home fries, 2 eggs, feta cheese, tomatoes, gyro meat, olives, and a side of tzatziki sauce) with rye toast. I asked for the chicken parmesan and it came with a cup of soup (broccoli cheddar) and a trip to their salad bar. The salad bar was small but had a decent variety for the size: lettuce, coleslaw, various veggies, fresh fruit, cottage cheese, and dressings. The soup was OK, not hot. We enjoyed our meal. The food was good and I was very impressed with the price. Probably one of the best values at a restaurant I've seen in a long time. Lots of great specials. If you're in Wadsworth and you're looking for an affordable place to eat with decent food, check out Alexandris Restaurant.

Yelp
This was a comfortable home spun place on the Square of downtown America... Wadsworth, Ohio style. I stopped by for breakfast and was greeted by friendly folks and good food with quick service. The establishment was clean and vintage with an updated feel. The food was excellent, which was sourdough toast with ham and cheese, omelette, and home fries. The service was friendly and the price was very reasonable. Including my coffee, everything was under $12.

Yelp
Perfect family run restaurant in downtown Wadsworth, serving breakfast lunch and dinner at very reasonable prices. The staff was so pleasant and accommodating. My husband and I came for breakfast, we pursued the lunch menu as well, but the breakfast menu looked great. I went the traditional route with French toast and grits, an unlikely combination. My husband had the avocado toast and the best Homefries we have tried in a longtime. Did I mention the even offer a small salad, it really packs a punch. The food was good, quick service and the bill was under $20, pretty hard to beat!

Yelp
Really good and good portion size. Often I have gotten a stir fry elsewhere and they have skimped on the meat, not here. The Battered Sea Captains is a good very large portion dish. Pollack, clam strips n 3 shrimp with choice of sides. These dishes and I guess all their entrees include soup and salad bar. It's a small but well stocked bar and the soup this time was Chicken Noodle or Corned Beef Chowder. Very good establishment, service always good and prompt.

Yelp
The food is amazing highly know for breakfast but the lunch is very underrated the speed of getting my order was amazing and the vibe of the place is so welcoming and warm

Yelp
I've been in Wadsworth for about three months now and I'm so bummed I just had breakfast at Alexandris for the first time today. They have so many good breakfast options and I love their iced tea and we went about 10 AM on a Saturday morning and it was may be a 20 minute wait but so worth it. Our server was also amazing, she was thorough and super personable and could read a room/table like a professional. Honestly service isn't like this much anymore so she was super impressive.

Yelp
Excellent service and food. Great prices in a friendly neighborhood restaurant Everyone works hard and always seem happy!

Yelp
Food was okay, service was friendly and okay. Tomato was no where near ripe, at the end of July there are definitely better tomatoes available than what we were served.

Yelp
Excellent food! This diner is a gem in downtown Wadsworth! I can't believe that it took me a few years to try this restaurant. It was a warm night outside so I ordered a fresh salad. Highly recommend the Greek salad with chicken. So good! Lots of fresh ingredients on it. My friend ordered a special that wasn't on the menu. She really enjoyed eating the ham, cabbage and noodles dish. The staff was wonderful! Very customer service oriented. It was a joy to eat here!

Yelp
Amazing service and value. Waitresses really do all they can to assist customers , bending over backwards if they do the same tip for their service!.

Pamela P.

Yelp
Hostess was rude , not welcoming so we left . Not a great impression was made to make us even want to try it at a different time.

Yelp
Family style Mediterranean oriented restaurant with a marvelous menu. Despite being very busy on a Saturday morning, the staff handled the breakfast crowd well and delivered to me a delicious Greek skillet.

Yelp
Stopped by Alexandris for our weekly family dinner out. Upon arrival, we were promptly seated and given menus. Looking through the menu, I saw a Canadian pike dinner, which was served with green beans, French fries, tartar sauce, salad, and soup. It was a lot of food, but I finished most of it. My soup and salad were good, but the fries were flavorless. The fish looked and tasted like it was frozen prior to being cooked. In fact, all of the food, except for the soup and salad seemed to be frozen prior to being cooked. The green beans were out of a can. My wife asked for a chicken sandwich, but was given a flavorless chicken breast on a plate with a slice of tomato and iceburg lettuce. When she objected, the waitress went to the cook, who offered us a warm bun, which my wife accepted. We like restaurants that make food from scratch, so we we will not be returning to this establishment, unless for breakfast. I'm all about small businesses, but you gotta bring it, not thaw it. The service was excellent.

Yelp
Our first mistake was ordering lunch. This restaurant probably has a decent breakfast. Ordered fried shrimp, these were obviously from food service. Flattened, breaded, tasteless and deep fried. Fries were greasy and limp. My burger was ordered to be cooked medium, it came out well done. The bun did not seem very fresh, the onion rings were greasy. The place is busy and the staff do their job well. It has a Mom and Pop atmosphere. We will not return.

Yelp
Great diner. Everything was good. Skip the chain and come here. I had the omelet and it was amazing.
google avatar

Jake S.

Yelp
Ordered from here for door dash I spent roughly 12$ on chicken tenders and fries. What I recieved could hardly be described as chicken. I recieved what might have been the 3 smallest chicken tenders I've ever seen. I was really excited to eat chicken too. But what I recieved was a main course of french fries with a side of chicken. If this is how Alexandries feeds their customers, its no wonder I hear nothing good about them.

Yelp
So, stop waiting until you lose ten pounds, until you gain ten pounds, until you have kids, until your kids leave the house, until you start work, until you retire, until you get married, until you get divorced, until Friday night, until Sunday morning, until you get a new car or home, until your car or home is paid off, until spring, until summer, until winter, until your song comes on, until you've had a drink.... there is no better time than right now to be happy.

Tom V.

Yelp
Are you looking for great tasting food... freshly prepared... hot breakfast, lunch or dinner... made to your request... brought to your table hot... by one of the friendliest gathering of cordial servers... in a family friendly diner...GO TO ALEXANDRIS Restaurant in Wadsworth, Ohio!!!

Yelp
My favorite breakfast spot I love to go to anytime I'm in town. The staff is always friendly and the food is exactly what you want every single time. I've eaten here dozens of times and have never been disappointed. The service is quick and the prices are great.

Andrea B.

Yelp
Ordered the Texas burger with onion rings as takeout. It was ready in ten minutes. Boy was it delicious! Slathered in cheese, and the suace was incredible. The onion rings were top notch. This was a great Friday night takeout treat and highly recommend this place. I'll be ordering from here again!
google avatar

Greg M.

Yelp
Nice place, clean, fast friendly service...just not great food! Ordered the boneless grilled pork chops with a trip to the salad bar. The salad bar started off with great potential, actually having leaf lettuce rather than just iceberg. But that was about it. Tomatoes were not close to being ripe, cucumbers were sliced in 1" chunks, white, not red onion, no cheese or broccoli or hot peppers, but a bazillion dressings! Picked a bad night to only want oil and vinegar. The porkchops came with green beans...out of a can. Soft and mushy blah. The pork chops needed a steak knife to cut and dental work at the end of the night. I may have just ordered poorly- saw a couple breakfasts on other tables that really looked good. Would try it again because of the service, just not for dinner.

Yelp
Just what the doctor ordered! So I have been watching my LB's and this is one of my go to spots for breakfast. The basically will cook to order for you and it doesn't kill the bank account. So on my diet I can have eggs pretty regularly but, I don't want the hash browns or the toast etc etc. Today I got a 3 egg omelette with cheddar and bacon. ( that's it) the food was great as always and it came out fast which is always good, especially when you are hungry and in a hurry!! This place is your typical cute down home diner. It evens has the long breakfast bar for all the regulars. Stop by it is always welcoming even if you are not a local!

Yelp
"Meh minus". Greasy spoon - get what ya pay for stop. Stopped with my two babies. Eggs ok. Bacon and sausage ok. Real disappointment was potatoes. Flavorless. Needed butter and salt to make edible. Both babies got food - ate it all so that's always a plus. I don't know about stopping for breakfast again but maybe lunch sometime.

Martha T.

Yelp
Had a wonderful breakfast! Service exceptional as well. It will not disappoint you!!
google avatar

Susanna R.

Yelp
Filthy. The decor was run down and shabby. The cutlery was bent up and beat up. The food seemed previously cooked and reheated except of course for the raw potatoes. Our toast, if you can call it that, was more like heated bread. The coffee tasted like warm dishwater. The waitress was nice but when told of our issues with the food, did nothing to correct it or try to make it right. This was our first time eating here, and also our last. For those of you who claim this place has good food, I'm going to have to assume you've never eaten any place else. If I could give it zero stars i would. HORRIBLE PLACE TO EAT!!!

Yelp
Alexandris is easily one of the best restaurants in town. I absolutely adore the small town diner feel. There's something so comforting about walking in, knowing you're going to come out with a fully belly and having had great service. I typically go for breakfast because I've never had a better breakfast skillet...anywhere! The hash browns are always crispy and delicious. The eggs are perfectly cooked, and the homemade sausage gravy truly cannot be best. A must visit!!

Yelp
Great diner in Wadsworth. Came by here when visiting extended family and stopped by for an early breakfast. Hot coffee and cheap comfort food. We enjoyed our stay and had a healthy mix of omelette / hash browns / eggs / pancakes. Food came out fast and coffee was flowing. We only came here for breakfast, so service, or experience may vary for other meals.
google avatar

Martha K.

Yelp
Good food and prices. Correction for Yelp. They are open for dinner as well as breakfast and brunch.

Kevin M.

Yelp
After a Veterans funeral, we walked in with twenty people. The wait staff was outstanding. They arranged tables so we could all sit together. Their service was courteous and attentive to our requests. The food was great and a very good value. I highly recommend this restaurant and I'm looking forward to going back again.

Yelp
Super easy place for an affordable meal. Great, down to earth service that will have us returning
google avatar

Jennifer Y.

Yelp
I can only recommend the breakfast, which will certainly hit the spot. In my opinion it's priced high, but I believe it's because it's the original breakfast hub in downtown Wadsworth and locals have been dining there since before downtown was starting to bloom. Walking in the doors is a blast from the past, where the fake spider plants meet an aging decor that was once how all diners were decorated. You will hardly catch a younger crowd, in the morning but if you don't mind a man (or women) who enjoys a good breakfast, coffee and local paper -- you'll fit in just fine. My son is always welcome with open arms and they make him a mean chocolate chip pancake and chocolate milk.
google avatar

Greg M.

Yelp
Just back from here. My kids love it but I ordered eggs over easy and they were extremely undercooked. Like a pond of clear uncooked egg undercooked. Apparently this is normal as I was instructed by the waitress. Long story short...paid the bill and left the tip for the last time ever here. Will not go back.

James S.

Yelp
Good local place in downtown Wadsworth. Breakfast was good, service was very fast and friendly and prices were very reasonable. I'll be back for sure.
google avatar

Kat G.

Yelp
Tried this place this morning for breakfast. It's a small, old fashioned rural kind of diner, which is exactly what we were hoping for. I was a little indecisive when it came time to order, and our waitress helped me out and recommended the fresh strawberries they had gotten this morning, and they were great. Good French toast and the sausage was well done exactly as I had asked. The prices are cheap and the wait staff is friendly, if a little over-attentive. They had a long list of specials and everyone in there seemed to be a regular, which is always a good sign.
google avatar

Kelly S.

Yelp
This is your old school basic diner to go to for a good, inexpensive breakfast. They serve lunch and dinner as well but i think their breakfast is the best. You MUST order the hash browns. Be sure you're hungry when you go because they give you a huge serving!
google avatar

Rachel S.

Yelp
This place is inexpensive and quick. The service was great. My waitress (didn't get her name unfortunately) was very attentive, helpful and friendly. That said, the quality of the food was poor. Vegetables come out of a can, the shrimp clearly had been frozen and thawed and my fries were bordering on burnt. It was edible but wouldn't recommend.

Steve S.

Yelp
Great breakfast ! Great price ! Quick with great service ! The place is a little small for the big breakfast crowd, but is worth under 5-10min wait(usually on the shorter side). They cycle people in and out very quickly. Food appear so quickly and is hot off the grill. Their whole team works together. They really have their breakfast process down like a science. Their whole team works together. Dinner food was good to, but I love their breakfast menu and service.

Colin W.

Yelp
We came in on a Sunday morning and were very impressed by the speed of service. Everyone was moving fast to deliver good service and get our food to us fast. The food was also good - we would recommend the cinnamon rolls in particular. Overall, a solid small town diner experience.
google avatar

Denise V.

Yelp
Great local diner! Clean and full of regular local Browns fans. But that's okay we won't hold their misguided fandom against them. Mostly because the food is delicious and the long time servers are so friendly. Stop here for a nice break while you travel!
google avatar

Cody S.

Yelp
Deserves four stars out of five great place to eat casual and peaceful. eggs are delightful with bacon and good sides definitely would recommend
google avatar

Amy K.

Yelp
There aren't many foods I don't like, but split pea soup is one of them. . until I had the split pea soup at Alexandris. It had been 20 years since my last split pea experience, one that involved a green gloppy mess with pork fat. I decided to be brave and give it another try when the waitress here told me their split pea was broth-based. Turns out, it's the best soup I've ever eaten (or at least in my top five)! Seriously. It was so good, in fact, that my lunch companion sent her bowl back in exchange for the soup I had. Trust me, it's the stuff of legends. This place is small, friendly, and accommodating to my friend in a wheelchair. I've eaten here twice. Both meals were excellent, the service was excellent, and the prices are cheap! Plus, the restaurant is located in a cute little part of town with other stores on the block worth visiting. Cash or check only.
google avatar

Mike S.

Yelp
Diner food! I still remember coming to this place as a kid. We would beg Dad to buy us some of the candy they kept under the glass counter. I've been back several times as an adult, and have always had a good experience. The food is cheap and greasy and tastes great. The staff are always friendly. It's the go-to diner in Wadsworth--especially for breakfast.
google avatar

Krystin T.

Yelp
This is a great little diner, especially for brunch! My grandma comes here often, so my mom and I came with her while visiting. My biggest complaint? They only take cash or checks ad payment. In this day and age, you'd think they'd at least have Square or something with which people can pay by card. Luckily, I had checks with me, but I found it rather odd. At any rate, breakfast was delicious. I ordered the Greek omelet with no ham & with just egg whites instead of whole eggs. With the home fries and toast, it was a TON of food but of course I ate every bite. Everything came out piping hot and super fast. For three people, it came out to $27.57 - not bad for three breakfasts and two coffees!

Chris B.

Yelp
We ordered takeout, today, due to this darn virus. I feel like the quality is better when you eat in but this was amazing. We shared eggs, hash browns, gravy, bacon, sausage and a pancake. Everything was fresh and yummy! Very comforting food during this stressful time. We highly recommend getting takeout, for breakfast, until we can start eating inside Alexandris again.
google avatar

Rebecca C.

Yelp
Stopped in for lunch, had the Cobb salad and it was wonderful! And the staff is so friendly!
google avatar

Giovianni R.

Yelp
Small business at its finest. Very comfortable diner, and gives off a very old school vibe. The front window allows you to see out into the streets of Wadsworth, Ohio. The ceilings are very tall and the building seems to give off the feel of a small diner in a big city. The seats in the booths are comfortable with just the right amount of back support. The service is great time and time again. Within 30 seconds of sitting in the booth you will have a full cup of hot fresh coffee. The food is fresh and always made fast. Lots of great deals and the food is very affordable. I never felt rushed and it is the perfect atmosphere to hold a conversation with company, not too loud but not too quiet to be awkward. The workers are very friendly and it is a better option than corporate diners such as Bob Evans, Denny's, IHOP, etc.
google avatar

Keygan L.

Yelp
I had the brown hashes after a hangover and yes sir, it caused an erection. The amazing French toast pushed me over the edge. You have to try this place. Small. Amazing and they know how to keep you coming back for more
google avatar

Ruth G.

Yelp
The waitress recommended the burgers and they were great (patty melt yummo) !! My husband had the Chicken Fajita and it was awesome !! The breakfasts people around us got looked awesome as well ...we WILL be back.Friendly wait staff too,

Yelp
What a great restaurant! The food is wonderful and the service is friendly and fast.

Yelp
My absolute favorite place for breakfast! All their food is good and always comes out hot. Even when they are busy, you don't wait long for a table . Food is always delivered in a timely fashion. The staff is friendly and welcoming.
