Alexandrium Shopping Center

A very large shopping centre. There is both indoor and outdoor parking. There is an elevator and escalator that you can easily find outside. There was a lot of maintenance work inside when we went. Frankly, it was bad in terms of appearance. But since our purpose was Shopping, we didn't get stuck with it. There are lots of eating areas inside. After visiting the interior, it was very nice to visit the outside shopping places and to be side by side. But it would be very good to have good ventilation for the food smells coming from some Indian restaurants.

It's always a great pleasure shopping here. You get all the high-street brands and more. In other words you can get practically everything you need including supermarket and off-licence (liquor store). Apart from the mall itself (which is always updated and immaculately maintained) there is a huge section outside consisting large stores such as MediaMarkt, Xenos, etc. Retail therapy at its best. Highly recommended.

Lack of staff, only one open house and so many people waiting!

It is a bit hard to navigate inside. The plan of the mall cannbe very confusing for those who are not familiar with the mall. Good selection of stores, however, most of the stores had very limited line of products. Pretty easy and convenient for public transport.

Great mall, close to home. Has an Albert Heijn, many restaurants, full shopping, including fine furniture shopping in Alexandrium III.

Big shopping mall.. you will get everything here plus nearby bigshops has plenty of things! Less options for food to be honest, it is good but could be better. Parking is good, good for kids

Good supermarket and bunch of shops, good place for shopping and spending time, it has a few small cafe with food and a lot shops with clothes. There is a parking in front of supermarket, also present parking inside underroof

Alexandrium Shopping Center is a decent-sized shopping centre in Rotterdam, around 8 km from Centraal station but easily accessed by public transportation, with Metro and Intercity train links offered. Parts of the centre are currently undergoing a major refurbishment (December 2022), but considering this, they're doing a good job to keep the disturbance to a minimum, with shops and restaurants remaining open. They have a good selection of shops including Albert Heijn, Etos, Foot Locker, G-Star Raw, H&M, Holland and Barrett, JD and many others. While there isn't the typical American fashion mall food court, there are a number of places to eat and drink here, including McDonald's, Starbucks, Burger King, Cinnabon, Bagel and Beans and a potato place, as well as several other choices. The mall is pretty easy to follow, there is also a bridge which connects to the car park as well as a separate part of the mall which is much more modern and high-end, mainly consisting of furniture stores. The toilets were surprisingly clean for a mall too. 4* - A good mall with a good selection of places to shop and eat, while it may not have the Westfield factor, it is a good alternative if you don't want to travel too far out of Rotterdam's centre.
