Alexandros Restaurant Grill

We actually expected more. The food was delicious but not exceptional. The moussaka was fine, though the portion was small. Service was incredibly slow, but the atmosphere was very nice. I’ve had better Greek food before. We didn’t order bread, but they brought it anyway. We didn’t expect it to be charged, yet it was added to the bill, which felt strange to me.

We enjoyed a great meal in mid May last year when they first opened for the season. We were looking forward to enjoying some yummy meals again and it exceeded our expectations. They have the summer greens (Hortas) and the veal in tomato sauce was unbelievable! The grilled pork neck steak was delicious! The chilled semi sweet Rose was perfect for the hot weather. We look forward to enjoying more meals at Alexandros during our week long holiday.

I’ve been many times to Kefalonia, and this is definitely the best restaurant in the island. Service is impeccable. Food is so good. Just go there!

It is a family restaurant. Atmosphere is a pleasant one on it's terrace, which is covered. Waiters are very kind, and take time for service, will exchange few words don't only run around. They are assertive and make what it takes to make guests feel well. Service is quick and precise, you feel valued here. Food is delicious and portions are big, they are delivered quite quickly. At the end you will get a free desert, we got a tasty combination of Greek yogurt with honey and cinnamon. They even have a covered private parking for customers. I recommend this place to have a great dinner in a pleasant atmosphere after a day on the beach at Mirtos Beach, but not only. Go eat there, you'll thank me later 😉

The food was delicious — especially the pork gyros, which I’d definitely recommend trying. The menu offers a nice variety of dishes, so there’s something for everyone. The staff were friendly and welcoming, though they did forget our order, which was a bit frustrating. Still, it’s a lovely spot to stop by for a relaxed and tasty lunch.

It was one the best dinner we had in Kefalonia. Even though it was very crowded, the foods came very quickly. They tasted great. They served watermelon at the end on the house which was on the house. I definitely recommend this restaurant.
