Four girls travelling to Prague for a trip and this was perfect for us. We arrived very late and the reception was waiting for us and checked us in in no time, even recommended a few places to go out that night. Yes the rooms are a bit dated but it didn't bother us at all. We only slept there for a few hours each night. Toliets were always very clean when we used them and we had no problems. ||||The location is great. Easy to walk to the old town then stroll to wherever from there. Train station is just a walk around the corner which was also great. ||||Everyone who we bumped into was very happy and polite. Would recommend to anyone travelling to explore and only looking for somewhere to lay your head!

We arrived in the middle of the night and we were led to our room. The hostel itself can be a bit intimidating, primarily because of all the scrawling on the doors but our room was situated on a quiet wing of the hostel although as we were led to our room were overheard lots of rowdy groups. The location is fantastic, you could not be any closer to the main train station or public transport networks! The rooms were clean and the beds were really comfy! had a great night's sleep! the bathrooms were not very clean however and this may bother some people, it all felt a bit unhygienic :/ Definitely look through the photos I've uploaded- if you want a hostel for £10 a night in the city centre then this is the one for you! :)

Great place, best part is it location, it's just next to main railway station, 5-7 minute walk from station.we had booked twin sharing room instead we got a big room with 4 beds. Overall hostel was very spacious. Nice Kitchen, big corridors. Bathrooms were clean. This place has a lift as well but it's was out of order at the time of our stay in late August. I definitely recommend for a short stay

I've read most of the reviews of Jednota hostel are bad and I can somewhat understand, but its all matter of perspective. A group of friends and I stayed at Jednotas for 3 nights, it has a great location, just 2 blocks away from the train station and like 5 blocks from the bus station, Also, you're like 20 minutes of walk away from the old town square, maybe even less. We had a 4 person room, with clean sheets. The bathrooms and showers were clean, and we even used the kitchen 2 nights without a problem. You can also change money there. The rooms, hallways, stairs and etc. look creepy, but our overall experience was ok. So maybe, it's just matter of luck ! For the price we paid, we thought it was really ok!. ||||P.S.The wifi only works in the reception !

Extremely weird hostel, kind of feels like an asylum with the long corridors and bizarre rooms. Staff were friendly enough and moved us into a different room swiftly after we realised our door didn't lock properly. Only thing is they moved another party in the old room straight after us.|Rooms were large but dusty and in need of a super clean. Although as a bonus we found half a bottle of rum in ours!|Central location which is nice, but beware on the website it says free breakfast, however this does not exist!

Salid cagando leches, ni os acerquéis.||Our first impression was horrible but the second, third, fourth...were even worse. It isn't a real hostel, it is a reconverted student residence. ||When we arrived we thought the hall looked really bad, it is old and ruinous. Then we proceed to our room. The way there reminded us to a shabby version of the film The Shining: big creepy dirty stairs, painted doors but really (REALLY) painted doors and poor illumination the whole day and night.||The room itself was ludicrous. The bed were sofas with old and tore sheets. We put together both beds and we found under them some gifts: a bitten piece of bread from the Industrial Revolution, an old inhaler (Ventolin) from other victim and some used panties from a wild party from -I suppose- the college times of the hostel. We call to reception to clean it and they did so -just swept it though- but before going away the guy opened the window. It was a bad idea. A cloud of dust entered with some pigeon feathers to give it some substance.||The WiFi part is another lie. Well, there's WiFi but just in the reception and by that I mean really near the reception.||Let's talk about the bathrooms. If you are still reading then you'll probably guessing that they weren't clean. Bullseye! The hand soap was in a plate and there was a fly inside trying to escape for several days (three) a spectacle worth watching. |To go to the dirty showers you had to go through the kitchen, worry not we didn't even thought about using it. The showers themselves were narrow as expected in a hostel but there was no place to leave your clothes or towel so you had to leave them outside risking them to be robbed.| |On the bright side, the emplacement is good, near the centre and the main rail station and the money exchange rate was one of the best we saw.||In conclusion, sleep elsewhere and change your money there. Que en verdá debajo de un puente no se duerme tal mal.

Booked this last minute as some other plans fell through. The only good thing about this place is the location, we are travelling Europe by train and so this place being almost over the road from the station is fab!||The beds are not comfy and other guests are loud which really helps with the whole not sleeping thing. The toilet paper is closer to sand paper, it leaves a lot to be desired and the guy behind the desk has to open the main door as the key doesn't work.||The drinks in the vending machine are reasonably priced (approx 25CZK for a bottle of Fanta or Coke)||There is a little shop over the road which appears to sell most things that you could need. So there's that too.||Service is a little off and I probably won't stay here again but I guess for one night it will do!

Do not go there with small children, the place is doggy, and dangerous. Even my 15y old son was scared go toilet alone in the night as he was approached by some wierdo when going to shower in his own / be aware showers are shared/. I do not know how to comment it more, I would not recommend it for sole women either. It is sort of uncontroled place where doggy people cumulate. If you are not homeless or desperate, do not go please. There are lots of nice hostels in Prague, smaller in size, but safe, clean, and sure less dangerous. Do not make yourself an harm, or sleepless night by attending this doggy ghetto.
