Alforno Bakery & Café offers a refined and visually pleasing café experience that feels both modern and welcoming. From the moment you walk in, the space makes a strong impression with its clean design, elegant patterned flooring, warm lighting, and calm, European-inspired ambiance. The interior strikes a comfortable balance between stylish and cozy, making it an ideal place to relax, meet friends, or enjoy a quiet coffee break.
The coffee presentation is a standout. Lattes are served in beautifully designed cups with well-executed latte art, showing care and consistency in preparation. The hot chocolate was smooth and comforting—enjoyable overall, though fairly average in flavor. Still, it complemented the atmosphere and made for a pleasant sit-down experience.
On the savory side, the Penne Rosa was nicely presented and visually appealing. However, the flavor did not quite meet expectations. The sauce felt a bit mild and lacked depth, resulting in a dish that was acceptable but not particularly memorable. It was filling and decent, yet it didn’t fully reflect the elevated aesthetic and presentation of the café.
The pastry counter itself looked clean, well-organized, and tempting, with a variety of baked goods on display, though I did not order a pastry during this visit.
Service was calm, professional, and efficient, aligning well with the café’s polished and relaxed environment. The overall vibe encourages you to slow down and enjoy the moment rather than rush through it.
Overall, Alforno Bakery & Café excels in atmosphere, coffee presentation, and overall aesthetic, with some room for improvement in its savory food offerings. I would return for coffee and the café experience, and I hope to see continued refinement in the hot food menu.
