Alforno Trattoria Petrské náměstí

Went for lunch and it was so great we came back for dinner. Pasta and pizza was outstanding at lunch and both pasta dishes were amazing at dinner. Several of the reviews spoke of slow service and I would describe it as slow, just no one is in a hurry to flip the table and send you off. Very relaxing as long as your not on a schedule.

Very nice Italian restaurant.. menu is very rich, especially pizza and pasta. They have a menu chosen by the chef and changed daily. Food was swiftly served. Nice Italian songs. The food was really delicious. Prices are reasonable.

On our first night in Prague, Czech Republic, Connie & I walked over to Alforno Trattoria Italiana for a wonderful dinner. I had the Shrimp Linguine with Arugula & Olive Oil. Connie had Rabbit Loin with Mushroom Risotto. For the dessert menu, Arina stamped it on the table.We shared a delicious piece of Pistachio Cake. Everything was delicious and prepared perfectly. Our lovely server was Arina. She took great care of us. We also had a great conversation with the manager Tommy. He gave us both a Limoncello...... Highly recommend this restaurant. I’ve been to Alforno on Perské náměstí a few times now, and it’s always a great experience. The staff is friendly, quick, and knows the menu well. They also have a great knowledge of wine and can recommend good pairings with the food. Starters like burrata or bruschetta never disappoint – everything is fresh and well-seasoned. We usually go for pasta or pizza and try something different each time, and everything we’ve had so far has been very good. Overall, a nice and relaxed place where you feel comfortable. Always happy to come back.

Food comes super quick, good location. I got the beef tenderloin and the portion was a bit small however the starters I ate prior filled me up a bit. The service was really good, staff are super nice, so was the atmosphere.

One of the best places in Prague. Service is at very high level. Good location. Just taste of food is little bit lower than I thought. But again very cool place.

The food was delicious, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff is very friendly. However, they told us they were gifting us some lemoncello that later on was charged in the bill (not nice), and they don’t have a bathroom for disabled people. I happen to be using crutches now and I couldn’t go to the bathroom the whole time because they were downstairs using a spiral staircase which would have kill me. Basically, if you have any type of disability that doesn’t allow you to go down stairs, you can’t go to the bathroom, and I think that may make this restaurant not recommended for a portion of the society.
