Alforno Trattoria Petrské náměstí

One of the best places in Prague. Service is at very high level. Good location. Just taste of food is little bit lower than I thought. But again very cool place.

The food was delicious, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and the staff is very friendly. However, they told us they were gifting us some lemoncello that later on was charged in the bill (not nice), and they don’t have a bathroom for disabled people. I happen to be using crutches now and I couldn’t go to the bathroom the whole time because they were downstairs using a spiral staircase which would have kill me. Basically, if you have any type of disability that doesn’t allow you to go down stairs, you can’t go to the bathroom, and I think that may make this restaurant not recommended for a portion of the society.

Food comes super quick, good location. I got the beef tenderloin and the portion was a bit small however the starters I ate prior filled me up a bit. The service was really good, staff are super nice, so was the atmosphere.

Right in the heart of Prague.. Walking distance from both Metro and Tram stops. Was cold and drizzling. Needed warm dinner.. Alforno has decent reviews so decided to test out the food and service. Was quite late at night and we didn't have reservations. No inside seats and outside seating will be to cold. But a very nice waitress was ready to compromise and allow us to wait till some patrons finished dinner earty. We were lucky that some customers left and she quickly arranged tables for us to be seated. Not disappoint at all. Ordered different pastas and rose 🌹 wine.. All very well done.

We had our last dinner in Europe here before returning to Canada tomorrow. It was our second time here. We had the carrot soup for starters then we shared the pizza special. Both were outstanding and since we sat right next to the pizza kitchen, we got to watch our pizza being made. My wife had a beer and I had two glasses of house red, which was quite drinkable. Even though the place was very busy, the service was very attentive. Then to our utter amazement, the gentleman sitting on his own at the table next to us, Random Act of Kindness paid for our dinner. We hadn't spoken through the evening so it was a shock to us. I did hear him speaking and he sounded like he may have had an English accent. He absolutely made our day, especially as we had had a little bad luck the day before.

We went for dinner and waited almost an hour for two plates of pasta and two pizzas. Meanwhile, several customers who sat down and ordered a while after us had their food brought out earlier. After 45 minutes we looked at the chef and saw that he was preparing boxes and on his mobile phone without having prepared our order, what a pity.

Excellent service. Excellent food. Nothing else to add. I highly recommend!

We decided to visit this restaurant, which is located very close to the city center. It was quite crowded inside, so making a reservation is advised. The place cozy, with decor that recalls Italian restaurants, allowing gest to feel quite comfortable. Due to the number of customers, the service was quite busy, but we managed to order food, wine, and water efficiently. The food was very tasty. The pizza dough was exactly as it should be, and the pasta in the spaghetti was also without any complaints. Therefore, the taste is a big plus. The price-to-quality ratio is ok, especially considering its location near the center. The only downside was the ventilation inside the restaurant.
