Alfredo's Barbacoa

We stumbled upon this place in mid afternoon. Was quite busy, had to wait for about 20 min to get seated. It has a nice american wibe. Waiters don't speak much English, so I guess this is a place more for locals than tourists. Regardless the food was great. Very nive hamburgers. Good potions, not so big to get full. Thankfully I had space in my stomach for a apple pie. I was not disappointed. Great place overall.

I'm sorry everyone, but despite being recommended by my girlfriend - the best thing about Alfredo's Barbacoa was the delicious smell of barbecue meat from outside the restaurant. The venue was uninspiring and the interior a little shabby. The one thing you expect from an American style restaurant is excellent service. The service was ok (I'm being generous). The onion rings looked like they came from the frozen section at Mercadona and tasted the same all 8 of them (small portions). The french fries were wedges and although tasted ok, really were not what I was expecting (unimpressive). The burger bun was poor, the filling poor. The burger was very tasty, but honestly at €38 for 2 burgers and 4 small cañas, I wish we had gone to burger king. There are far better burger restaurants. My only surprise was how busy the restaurant was Sunday 12th Sept. We learned that poor old Alfredo (the creator and owner) died last year and it seems the love in this franchise has too..

Very nice old fashioned style burgers. It's like been in a classic american BBQ in Madrid. The desserts are very good as well. The deco is all american and Texan style.

One of the best hamburgers in town, FOR ALMOST 30 YEARS!!!! Don't look for anything other than good food and good beer. I would recomend the one burger with a taste of moroccan food, the kefta burger.

I went there some days ago because some people had talked to me several times, it was OK, but nothing special. I don't like a lot the service, waiters were sometimes rude but it's my opinion. I went there I tasted it and enough for me, I expect not to come back in the short term future. Best regards, Manuel.

A great burger joint and more. Service is OK for Spain. The waiters were nice but the person taking tables was rude.

Burgers are pretty good but service not quite good. Besides the burgers I do recommend the apple pie!!!

I ate the Brooklin Burger, alfredo's size. I ordered my meat well done, and it came a little undercooked. The burger was ok. The bread had too much olive oil and butter, is not a gourmet bread, and it tasted like a cheap, but good bread you can buy at the grocery store. The french fries comes with the burger, and they were the worse part. Regular french fry you buy at the grocery store, not well cooked, kinda greesy, and some of them had different taste - maybe the cook used the same oil to fry something else? The beer I asked was a Paulaner. The temperature was perfect, the glass was perfect, and it harmonized really well with the burger. The environment is cool, and I liked the decoration. All in all, it is a good place to visit if you still haven't. I would go there again with no problem, but only if I had no other choice or if I were going with someone else that were visting the place for the first time.

Very rude service. The kind of service that wants you to eat fast and get out as quick as possível. We (two people) ordered a New York Strip Steak and an Hamburguer. Both tasted terrible and were overcooked and burned (check the photos). Never will return.

The service is terrible. I went with a friend on a weekday during the summer. The place was empty and they kept me waiting oustside like an idiot until my friend arrived for no reason (house rules). The guy was totally rude and unpolite.
