This is an all-around great restaurant. The food tastes fresh, the atmosphere is a great, casual but homey vibe. I am not a pasta aficionado by any means but this is a great example of a quality meal at a great price. I wish I was closer so I could come back! Staff is also very friendly.

Put down your phone and just eat here! It’s that damn good! During a recent trip, my wife and I ate here three times! All of the pasta is fresh and cooked perfectly. The sauces are tasty, flavorful, and plentiful. The garlic bread has a perfect texture and flavor. The Caesar salad salad is outstanding. Truthfully, this is an outstanding place to eat and such a little hole in the wall you would never expect it. The staff was always friendly, the chef is always eager to please, and overall, we were just thrilled. Obviously, we ate there three times in a short period of time! Do those about to nosh, I salute you! Note: for the record, on our third visit, we got it to go. The sauces, salad and garlic bread were all outstanding. The pasta had a little bit of an unusual flavor and we think that one of their pots had gone dry and the bottom had scorched. And when they had cooked the pasta in it, it picked up that burnt scorched flavor. Was not as pleasant as the previous two visits, but we think it was an honest mistake and we would not let that deter us from eating here again!

My girlfriend and I shared garlic bread, spaghetti and meatballs, and chicken alfrado. She said it was not just the best pasta she's ever had, but maybe the best meal she's ever had. We got out it take out, walked two blocks to eat on the pier. To my suprise, it was under 35 dollars for fresh handmade pasta, which I've never seen anyone else come close to that price. Can't recommend enough. Idc where you are in the city, take the drive down to folly Island and eat here.

Google
The food, the service, and the seating area is wonderful! Reminiscent of an authentic Italian pizzeria, knowledgeable staff, home made pasta and ingredients, with many variations of pasta favorites. The frozen peach drink with Prosecco was amazing 😍 Keep up the Great work! Coming back every time I visit Folly Beach!

Google
The best *BEST* pasta you’re gonna get in Charleston. I’ll take an order of shrimp fettuccine from Alfredo’s to the grave with me. Thanks to the chef!

Google
The BEST pasta, do yourself a favor and try the almond arugula pesto, it’s absolutely amazing. Kid-friendly, kind staff.

Google
I got the bolognese with meatballs and it was a 10/10! The portion sizes are actually reasonable and quite light on the stomach, leaves plenty of room for dessert without feeling uncomfortably full! The cannolis were very charming and delicious. I typically don’t like garlic bread in general because I find the garlic flavor so stifling, but its actually quite mild in theirs! I genuinely enjoyed it, it certainly surpassed my expectations. The food is extremely high quality, you can tell there has been a lot of thought put into their menu. The staff are so friendly that you feel like you’re family the moment you walk in! The only thing I recommend for this restaurant is upgrading the utensils from plastic to metal, but I will definitely be returning if I come back to Folly Beach

Google
In the words of my fiancé, who usually never likes pasta from restaurants, “That was a really good choice. That was probably the best pasta I’ve ever had.” This tiny little restaurant had the homiest vibes and, hands down, the most AMAZING food we had while at Folly. Do yourself a favor and get two orders of garlic bread to go with your pasta—you WON’T regret it.

Yelp
Hidden gem! Alfredo's is a small, casual restaurant with the best pasta I've had outside Italy. They make fresh pastas and sauces and you can select your favorite combo. The last time I was there I started with the Italian salad which was fresh and delicious. I chose the bucatini with amatriciana sauce and it was amazing! I had a nice glass of Barbera with it as well.

Yelp
Such a great Italian spot in Folly Beach! You order at the counter, seat yourself, and then food is brought out to you when it is ready. This place has a casual feel and is perfect for a dinner at the beach. The woman working at the counter was so friendly and made sure order all of the must-trys on the menu. The garlic bread was out of this world! I enjoyed my pasta with a spicy Italian sauce as well as a local beer. They also have frozen bellinis and rosé which some of our group really enjoyed!

Yelp
This hidden gem js a must when visiting Folly. Our friends told us how amazing it was, so we had to check it out for ourselves. It is a bit off the beaten path and I never knew it existed. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. A super low key, no frills type of place. Our server and the owner were as friendly as can be. After asking for suggestions from our server, we ordered the fettuccine alfredo, chicken parm panini and caesar salad. All of the pasta and sauces are made fresh daily. The food was cooked to perfection and the prices were extremely reasonable. I can't wait to try the almond arugula pesto next with the gnocchi or fusilli and shrimp. They also offer a mozzarella making class. Can't wait to check it out as well!

Yelp
This is a hidden gem on Folly. Being originally from NY, I'm always looking for good Italian. This one is close. It has the feel of a beach restaurant with a casual atmosphere. It's counter style ordering and pick your own seat. I had the chicken parm panini. A bit unconventional but I didn't mind. Chicken was tender and the sandwich was hot. I enjoyed every bit. Garlic bread was awesome and the beer was cold. Yes, they serve beer and wine. I also had an order of meatballs. I was a bit disappointed with the size, they were very small. Smaller than bite size but I used the sauce to dip my garlic bread. The young lady behind the counter was a gem too. Service with a big smile. Overall, a great choice and we will be back to try some pasta items.

Yelp
The food was ok nothing to write home about Portions in the smaller size The sauce was drenched on the pasta The sausage was ok but the meatballs were not very good The atmosphere is very casual and very relaxed You order at counter Everything is server in disposable dishes The homemade pasta was a nice touch If you're at the beach and want Italian give it a try

Trina N.

Yelp
We've been wanting to try Alfredo's on FB and stopped in after a walk on the beach this morning. We had no idea he serves brunch on weekends. We ordered at the counter and sat outside. Our pasta and garlic bread were delivered to our table. Homemade bucatini pasta with beef ragu and the Amatriciana over bucatini were our choices. Both are worth a second trip. We've decided we'll try all the pastas and sauces before spring. The paninis looked and smelled heavenly. Such a cute little gem off the main road.

Yelp
So many spend time at Folly Beach and forget to leave Center Street. On West Hudson is a small Italian Restaurant with an incredible smell and knowledgeable staff about all things Italian. This is a no frill watering hole with about a dozen tables and order at the counter but you won't be disappointed. You have a choice of build your own pasta dishes, panini style sandwiches, salads, appetizers and home made Italian desserts. The prices are amazing. Make a stop in soon.

Yelp
Stopped in after an afternoon at the beach when we were sweaty and sandy but this is definitely a casual Italian place! Super small and homey, don't recommend if your party is bigger than 4. I shared pappardelle with carbonara sauce, a chicken parm panini, and garlic bread with my brother. Everything was really solid! The pasta is under $10 which these days feels hard to come by and is still a decent portion. I wish the chicken parm was breaded and not just roasted but all the components together were great. You'll order at the counter and our service was quick on a weeknight! The brunch menu looks really delish and I wish I could come back to try it!

Christy M.

Yelp
Amazing service, food and atmosphere. If you're looking for a family owned small business feel this is it. Love that it's quaint and the people are so friendly.
google avatar

Lori L.

Yelp
This place is delicious. I came here because I saw the good reviews. The menu is small and simple. The portions are surprisingly huge. I split the pappardelle with beef ragu with my daughter. My husband got the carbonara with chicken. Both tasted so fresh. I loved the texture of the pasta. We had plenty of leftovers and the leftovers tasted just as good the next day. This is a great alternative if you aren't in the mood for seafood!

Yelp
If you're in Folly Beach and you're hungry for good Italian food this is the place to go. It's the real deal. The staff are warm and friendly. They have a great menu and the food is great. I highly recommend it. Bon Appetit!

Yelp
I came here while visiting Folly Beach and looking for a restaurant that wasn't too expensive. Luckily, Yelp pointed me to the right direction. The owner was very nice and guided me on what to order. I was in the mood for something different, so I ordered the Amatriciana sauce and he recommended the Fusilli pasta to go with it. It was a great combination. The pasta was excellent!

Yelp
This place is spectacular. Truly a hidden gem. My friends and I had one of our favorite meals here. A place on Folly that serves homemade pastas (omg the bucatini), delicious sauces, and wonderful paninis? We couldn't believe how authentic everything tasted and how kind the owner was. We can't wait to come back to Folly Beach so we can visit Alfredo's again

Valinda W. O.

Yelp
What a treasure! Where can you find a quaint little place that makes their own pasta? Who knew Folly Beach would have such a fabulous Italian restaurant? The sauces were excellent and the salads too, and the paninis! We enjoyed everything about our dinner. Michael was so pleasant and accommodating.

Yelp
Ordered the special. Brazed short rib over spaghetti with red sauce. Food was delicious pasta cooked perfect. Right off the main strip so easy to get to. Service was fantastic friendly and fast. It is a small place but has outdoor seating. Cool place.
google avatar

Catrina B.

Yelp
The place is on the smaller side. We had 9 people so needed 3 tables. It's decent enough. I wasn't really that impressed. Wish it had been more flavorful and served on a plate. I'm glad we tried it but don't think we'll return. I'm not saying don't give it a shot but don't except to much.

Autumn M.

Yelp
This is the best pasta place ive been to. The food was amazing, the servers were very nice, and the place itself was very nice with indoor and outdoor seating. It has a smalltown type vibe to it. This is all coming from someone who dislikes pasta in general. I would definitely come back here.

Lorie T.

Yelp
You pick your choice of homemade pasta and sauce. The fettuccine Alfredo sauce with shrimp was delicious , as well as the Caesar salad and garlic bread. Also , the spaghetti with tomato basil red sauce and meatballs was delicious too. This is a more casual atmosphere where you order at the counter, pay , then they bring the food to your table. I noticed a lot of carry out orders . A wide range of alcoholic beverages available too. Great beach restaurant.

Yelp
great food bit must try the fettechine Alfredo its to die for but the chicken does taste artificial the service was awesome they were nice and welcoming

Yelp
The food was so good and the prices were fantastic!! The staff was so friendly and helpful. I loved it and will be back.

Yelp
It's a new spot on folly beach. They do sing servings of pasta, you pick your sauce and protein of your choice. Pasta was fresh and had many different types. Sauces are great! Proteins are taste great! I had the pappardelle pasta with Alfredo sauce and chicken. Fairly priced for a healthy serving of pasta. Owner is very nice and very welcoming. Would highly recommend!
google avatar

Emily S.

Yelp
Large take out order was labeled and correct. Pasta was delicious especially gnocchi! I like more spice but with salt and pepper, my dish was excellent. We love the garlic toast.
google avatar

Vince D.

Yelp
Don't be fooled by how small this place is or that serve their food in paper cups. This is legit home aid tasting Italian food. It's a little off the main street but offers a nice change from the typical seafood and fried foods available in this beach town. Service was professional and friendly. Support this business to keep some variety available this great area.
google avatar

Rick S.

Yelp
Terrible place, mediocre pasta, self service, plastic forks, poor selection, other than that, fine.

Leah J.

Yelp
We loved this place! So much so that we went twice on our trip here. Definitely don't miss coming when you're in Folly Beach! Owner is super nice and helpful when picking what you might like for your combination of sauce and pasta. My kids cleaned their plate. We will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Delicious, simple, authentic Italian. Went here for breakfast on a Saturday morning and we were the only people there! Lovely spot that deserves much more attention!
google avatar

Heidi M.

Yelp
This place is awesome! Vegetarian options galore! The pesto, the pizza, the pasta everything is from scratch. DON'T MISS THE GARLIC BREAD. It's grilled, thank me later

Karmela L.

Yelp
Best Italian food ever. We went down for the beach un intentionally finding the best restraint we had during our visit. Prices were great and so was the food!
google avatar

Jenny H.

Yelp
Delicious! We were visiting Folly for a few days and ordered takeout by phone on a Thursday night. Business owner was very friendly and gave that vibe that a lot of care is put into the food prep. All of our food was really good, and washed it down with a $2 Peroni (not pictured). Highly recommend!

Sarah L.

Yelp
Can't believe we've never heard of this place before tonight! Atmosphere was simple, quaint and beachy, the girls working there were amazing, super helpful and so friendly. My girlfriend and I each had a pasta dish and shared the caprese salad, everything was super fresh and delicious! 10 out of 10 recommended!

Yelp
Being that I just returned from Italy and have lived there for 6 years, it is easy to say that the thing you long for the most after being exposed to the Italian culture is Food and genuine people. My wife and I happened upon this authentic Italian restaurant for a breakfast panini. I was so impressed that we returned dinner that night to sample cooked from scratch Italian food. The owner made me a sauce to mirror arriabata with his twist. Arriatbata, being my most favorite Italian dish, is hard to beat for me, and he blew it out of the water. The garlic bread was second to none that I had ever had, my wife's first authentic tiramasu and their wine selection was just as i had experienced a week prior in Italy and on point. Get off Main Street about half a block and enjoy hand-made excellence. If you want overpriced garbage with overpriced drinks, stay on Main Street and I will send true Italian loving foodies to them , If you have a complaint about the food or the people that run this establishment , then leave America and go to Italy and experience the culture , as it will grow on you Quickly just as Michael and his family did on me and my wife. Smiles, conversation, and fantastic homemade food, WHAT MORE COULD YOU WANT..

Curt M.

Yelp
Friendly staff, good food. Accurately made a dairy-free dish for a one member of our group. Can't rate the ambiance because my order was to go.

Yelp
I'm always on the lookout for places that make their own pasta when traveling. Was surprised to find one a few blocks away from our condo while in Folly Beach. Such a great selection of pastas, all made in house! House made mozzarella on the caprese didn't disappoint. The pesto was great and so fresh tasting. I wanted to try their carbonara but couldn't decide which pasta would go best . So glad I took their recommendation and went with a pasta I'd never even had before, Scialatielli. Bravo, Alfredo's... a true gem just off the Center Ave "strip" in Folly Beach.

Steve B.

Yelp
Food is always top notch. We get breakfast and dinner carry out often when we have guest visit. They also have tables to accommodate dine-in. They wont disappoint.
google avatar

Tammy F.

Yelp
The pasta is delicious! Beat Alfredo sauce I have ever tasted! Prices were very reasonable!
google avatar

Yelp
Very excited to have tried this Italian spot on Folly. We picked up 2 pasta's Togo and the garlic bread. Like everyone else says the garlic bread is key. Super super tasty and garlicky.Yum! The staff is very friendly and inviting. Look forward to visiting again in the cooler months!

Yelp
This place is amazing! All pasta is fresh made sauces are simply delicious. Service was great too! So happy we took a break from the seafood!

Yelp
The person who answered the phone was very pleasant and the pickup time was pretty fast. We placed a to go order, and we're very happy with the pricing it seemed too good to be true.....then we had the food. We were both very upset with our dishes. I got fettuccini Alfredo with chicken. When I got home and opened the box I was immediately unappetized by the appearance of my dish, the chicken was gray!! I did not want to even try it but my boyfriend did and he said it was dark meat chicken which we both feel is weird for a pasta dish as it's usually chicken breast. Not only did they not specify that they use dark meat chicken, the chicken was not seasoned at all. The Alfredo sauce was nothing special, had to add some Parmesan cheese I had at home along with some Italian seasoning to make it better. My boyfriend got spaghetti and meatballs with the tomato basil sauce. He described it as 'just ok' stating that the spaghetti we make at home with jar sauce is better. We were both pretty disappointed by our experience as we both love pasta and we live within walking distance to this restaurant. I'm hoping it was just a bad night for them but I don't think we will try again :(
google avatar

Katelyn B.

Yelp
It's a great place to stop in for some quick, street Italian food. Great choices and the owner is so friendly! He really cares about his restaurant and making customers happy! Will definitely eat here again!

L M.

Yelp
Superb place! Start with an OUTSTANDING order of garlic bread. It's the best I've ever had! I ordered the Pappardelle noodle with Beef Ragu. I read the pasta was made fresh in house and i expected to have it not be fresh. I WAS WRONG! The pasta was freshly made and the taste was just delicious!! They serve it in a to-go bowl. The quantity looks deceiving but it's a lot of pasta. I would HIGHLY recommend this gem!

Inna G.

Yelp
Noodles are good and sauce is good. Meat is leftover from yesterday barely reheated. Do not get the chicken, it's literally from yesterday and tastes that way too. Meatballs had not flavor either. Was disappointed by previous good reviews. Will not go again

Kathleen O.

Yelp
Awesome dinner ! Party of 5, everyone had something different and it was delicious! Staff was super friendly and masked up for COVID! Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Dixon H.

Yelp
This place is set right off of Center St. Doesn't look like much from the outside but do yourself a favor and give it a go. This is casual authentic italian pasta and panini's, price reasonable, and very flavorful. The customer service was friendly and the owner was actually in there running the kitchen, which says a lot in my opinion. Alfredo's Folly Beach is a must try experience next time you are on Folly!
google avatar

Victor O.

Yelp
Great dinner at this little Folly Gem. I had the Pappardelle with a Beef Ragu and Meatballs. The sauce and meatballs were seasoned perfectly and the pasta was a beautiful al dente. Let's just say I will be back and will definitely recommend!!!
google avatar

Danny R.

Yelp
We had a party of 5 and each tried something a little different. Everybody loved what they had. I had the Ragu sauce and meatballs and they were delicious. Pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente. I would highly recommend. Will definately come back.
google avatar

Holly K.

Yelp
Sooo yummy! Some of the best pasta I've had! I got the pappardelle Alfredo with chicken and a side of Caprese salad and all of it was delicious! The Alfredo sauce isn't extremely heavy which is really nice and the pasta is soft and very flavorful. Also the cannolis are super good! Very friendly great service and a nice chill homey atmosphere. Definitely will be back!

Jessica W.

Yelp
Pasta tasted homemade and the sauces had good flavor, but was pretty dry. The garlic bread was soaked in butter but tasted good otherwise. Cute little building inside and staff was very friendly and professional!
