"It’s always nice to find something besides modern American or diner food in a smaller town, and the authenticity of this
Italian bistro
, together with the expertise of the chefs, is a lovely surprise. And though they're not reinventing the Italian cannon, the kitchen team here isn’t averse to bringing a local touch to some tried-and-true classics: Little Neck clams are a perfect base for their zuppa di vongole, for example, though for a real marriage of the region's bounty with Italian cuisine, the shrimp-, mussel-, clam-, and lobster tail-laden seafood scampi can't be beat. And, as befits a place whose name is “alfresco,” you'll want to dine at one of the tables out front." - Paul Oswell
I was in town visiting my boyfriend and decided to reschedule my flight so we could come back again! Every dish we tried had a great presentation and were flavorful!
We had Calimari for our appetizer both times (a fav), their Duck Confit small plate, and Penne Alla Vodka with shrimp our first time. Our second time we had the Lobster Ravioli and Pan Seared Pompano entreés.
Everything about our experience was just incredible— from the staff and ambiance to the food. Can’t wait to come back!

Wonderful experience, food was cooked perfectly, and great staff!
I went this past weekend with my family - the atmosphere is perfect for a dinner date or a family night out. The smell drew us in along with the piano being played. The staff is welcoming and our server made good recommendations that turned out delicious and worth the little wait, he was attentive the entire time. Definitely will repeat again!

Had a great meal at Alfresco. Quite nicely decorated and a good crowd in the dining room and at the bar on a Friday night listening to the piano. Chef Eddy (formerly Tuscany Bistro) did not disappoint us. The Brussels Sprout appetizer and salad were excellent. The pasta entree was great and the Sole Francaise was prepared perfectly. We’ll be back!

Outstanding. Everything was fresh, the salads were exceptional, the main courses were original and home cooked, the tiramisu was home cooked and excellent as well. Piano playing in the background and all entrees were well worth their price.

We had the calamari for an appetizer and it was so delicious! We also enjoyed the warm bread and well seasoned dipping oil. Our Entrées also were beautifully presented and very tasty. The chef is amazing! We had an excellent waiter, and we were seated with a view of Front Street. Highly recommend! You can make a reservation if you like.
