Such a beautiful place, what a scenery! The hut is nice and cozy, they have a decent sized common room with all you need to prepare a breakfast in the morning, as well as a barbecue outside (if you have something to grill of course). Fun fact about the lake; you can walk much much MUCH farther than you think in it before it gets deep. Try it out the next time you go there!

Il s’agit véritablement d’un des plus bel endroit sur le Trek du Laugavegur. Nous avons eu la chance d’avoir une journée ensoleillée avec une vue imprenable sur les alentours. L’endroit est juste magnifique pour planter sa tente et profiter d’un bon repas au soir au bord du lac. Je n’oublie pas de mentionner les magnifiques douche chaude et les sanitaires impeccable de l’endroit. Enjoy !

Lieu magnifique ! À faire si vous savez bien marcher! Un conseil, prenez des chaussures d'eau afin de traverser les rivières (glaciales)

Det var en lugn plats med härlig utsikt mot sjön alftavatn med fantastiskt bergslandskap i bakgrunden. Bra campingplats med fint läge rekommenderas
