Alger Falls Motel has an excellent location, especially if you're looking for convenient access to Munising and the local attractions like Pictured Rocks. It's right on the main road, so getting around is easy. However, beyond the location, the motel doesn't offer much in terms of amenities. For starters, there’s no breakfast provided, which was a bit of a letdown considering many places offer at least something to get you going in the morning.
The rooms themselves are pretty basic—clean enough, but nothing that stands out. The overall condition of the motel feels somewhat dated, and it lacks the comfort or warmth that would make it a good option for a family stay. I wouldn’t bring my family here, as it just doesn’t have that inviting, cozy atmosphere you’d want for a vacation.
That said, if you're just passing through and need a place to sleep, it works for that purpose. It's functional, but not a place you’d want to spend much time in beyond resting for the night. For a solo traveler or someone just looking for a budget-friendly place to crash, it could be worth considering, but don’t expect much in terms of comfort or amenities.
