Google
Absolutely love this restaurant and its location right on the water! Although our reservation was 8:30, it took a little while longer because we wanted to wait for a table closest to the water for photos :) There was bread and introductory bites that were absolutely delicious! I wish I could remember what they were but I can remember they are DELICIOUS! The carpaccio was fresh and amazing - I definitely recommend. As well as the Maialino - so tender and flavorful. The only thing I dislike is the service speed. They’re friendly and inform you on all plate items, but ga damn they are slow. Although, they close at 11pm, we ordered the tiramisu at 10:55pm. They said the kitchen was closed. It’s unfortunate because a lot of reviews said it was good so we wanted to try it, but maybe next time.

Google
Food was delicious, service impeccable, beautiful interior, and gorgeous views of the water. What more can you ask for a Venice date out? Would recommend: chicken ravioli and vegetarian pasta.

Google
The interior design was exceptional, with a cozy atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, adding a personal touch to our experience. Given the reputation of the restaurant and the premium pricing, we arrived with high expectations. While the setting and service were outstanding, we felt the food didn’t quite match the same standard. With such a prime location and wonderful ambiance, there’s incredible potential here, and we hope to see improvements in the menu that align with the overall experience.

Google
Great place for lunch. Menu was perfect and the location is great for a view and a chance to watch the water taxis! Service was excellent and all servers spoke English perfectly.

What a beautiful experience in Venice! The setting is exquisite, the food and service were impeccable. Highly recommended!

Google
The interior is gorgeous, great artwork selections. The service was amazing, very attentive service and they bring out complimentary bread and amuse bouche. The bread was delicious and a little warm, however I think much more warm would be better. And the amuse bouche had various sea flavors which were fun to try. Not everything here was delicious but I don’t think that was the goal, it was various flavors and I still enjoyed trying each. The entrees are small proportion, beautifully plated, however taste mostly typical. I think the price is mostly fair considering the artful plating and ingredients used, but the taste isn’t spectacular and food size is very small. I had the lobster black ravioli, it was good, however not spectacular, and obviously 4 ravioli for €25 is not fun. I think maybe throw in some non lobster ravioli to fill the plate more. I would only really recommend this place if you’re looking to spend a lot, given the small plates.

Google
Beautiful and welcoming restaurant. The atmosphere is quite elegant and the style is definitely up to standards. We ordered a selection of plates which have definitely called our attention in their presentation and flavours profile. A quite heavy selection of fish dishes with a couple of meat choices. The Aperol sprits was top. I’d definitely recommend to try it if you want to remember your stay in Venice.

Yelp
We came over from Burano for dinner and happened upon this incredible restaurant on our way to our intended spot. So glad we stopped! It is very close to the ferry from Burano, Murano, etc. The food...oh my gosh...everything from the bread, to the complementary little tastings to every last morsel was melt in your mouth delicious and beautiful to behold. I had the fixed menu and my partner ate ala carte. The service and the location were equally beautiful. I highly recommend this place. A perfect complement to our overnight stay in Burano.

Yelp
The worse service experience I have ever experienced in my life! The server wasn't helpful and he was super rude!!! The biggest mistake of our lives! We waited 2 hours for food that wasn't even good! Don't eat here!!! The oysters were good but the rest was mediocre!

Yelp
Food, Service, Ambiance Who would have thought a restaurant next to the water taxi stop would be this good. It is. We ate outside for lunch and it was hot, but not with the Umbrellas and Bay breeze of Venezia. So comfortable and relaxing. They have four choices of two course meals. Wow. There was no skimping and worth every euro. All the seafood excellent and was expertly prepared. The pasta, as well. We were so pleased and happily full We must come back for dinner

Randy R.

Yelp
We decided on this restaurant based on Google reviews, however once arriving, we saw Yelp reviews were not that good. Our opinion after seating, though, was going to be good. We were treated with great service, complimentary antipasti (delicious) and excellent seating. Our first antipasti was a unique dish of sweet and sour sardines. I can't remember it's name but apparently it is very popular in Venice. We enjoyed pasta and fruiti de mar as entrees. Overall our experience was very enjoyable for a lunch waterside meal.

Yelp
Pretty dang good. As a two-time Michelin Star winner, I suppose you should expect that though. Great location on the water, with a modern, artsy and clean interior. Awesome service and the waiters speak a variety of languages. We started with the veal tartare with black truffle which was next level tasty. My better half opted for the the fried prawns and squid. It came out stacked high like a teepee and was expertly cooked; the fish melted in your mouth. Yours truly went with the duck breast with potato and it was divine. They also have a decent list of gin & tonics, so I ordered a Bruichladdich, "Botanist" gin and it was among the best G&T's I've ever had. Plates will run you about €30 each, so brave that wallet in advance.

Yelp
My girlfriend and I came here on our date night in Venice. I found Algiubagio online when I was looking for a romantic restaurant. Overall, we are both very happy with our experience here. Location and Ambience Their food turned out to be very good, but what drew us to Algiubagio is its ambience, the view of the lagoon from their deck. There were a couple of things we didn't know and we could not tell from the pictures posted on the restaurant webpage. First, the deck looked much older and less elegant than it appeared online. Second, there's a water bus stop/deck right next to it. Our reservation was 7pm. When we got here, it was still light out. So, the oldness of the deck was more pronounced, which was unromantic. Also, since it was still early in the evening, there were water buses constantly running literally right in front of our table (yes, some people were waving at us from the bus). So, here is my recommendation (CRITICAL): check what time sun goes down before making your reservation. After the sun went down, the ambience improved dramatically. Food I would not come here just for the food without the ambience, but the quality of the food was higher than I had anticipated. I ordered the Linguine alle vongole veraci e zest di limone (Linguine with clams and lemon zest) and Filetto di tonno tataki, spuma di piselli, croccante di mais e gelatina di soya (Tuna tataki let, green beans mousse, crispy corn and soya jelly). The linguine did not leave much impression on me, but the tuna was very fresh and seared perfectly (not overcooked). I thought the prices were very reasonable (for Venice). They also have several prix fixe menus (from 2 to 4 course menus), and they are particularly reasonable. Conclusion We had a very good time at this restaurant (4 stars), but I am not sure if I would come back here. Algiubagio is in a very quiet part of Venice near the hospital (Castello). My girlfriend and I both enjoyed breaking away from all the tourists around our hotel in San Marco and having a quiet dinner. There was nothing wrong with Algiubagio (except before sunset), but it did not impress me enough to bring me back. I'm happy that I tried Algiubagio but I want to try a different restaurant next time. ****************************** If you found something useful in my review, please hit "useful" so that I can improve my reviews. If you love food and traveling, follow me! Thank you and happy Yelping!

Yelp
Nestled on the north district of Venice along the sea, Algiubagio delivers an unique, upscale Italian dining experience. This Michelin rated restaurant offers a wide selection with a tasting menu as well as a full menu. The entrees range from Italian to French with some fusion mixed in. Algiubagio is well worth the trek and can be considered when looking for a more upscale experience away from the crowds in Venice. Right as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by a contemporary Italian restaurant crowned by magnificent Marano glass chandeliers. The menu speaks to a fine dining experience with the majority of dishes a modern twist to traditional Italian fare. There are also a select number of non-Italian contemporary dishes available. For drinks, highly recommend the Venetian Gin and Tonic. Hands down may be the best Gin and Tonic I have had with a wonderful presentation. The restaurant also offers a house red and white which are very good - and at a awesome price point. The homemade breadbasket and huge breadsticks are a perfect pairing for the drinks - I do wish there was either some olive oil or butter to pair with the bread. For the entrees, we ordered a combination of the shrimp carpaccio, tuna tarte, artichokes, and we also got the tempura vegetable and shrimp for sharing. Of these the shrimp carpaccio was the most unique and was well prepared. The shrimp and vegetable tempura was great for sharing. For the main entrees we ordered the duck, spicy shrimp linguine, vegetable pasta, and the 3 way preparation fish. Of these entrees, our favorites were the fish and duck. Fish was so tender on inside, but crispy on outside due to the unique way of preparation. Seasoning was also delicious. The duck was also very well cooked and was delicious. For dessert, get the Tiramisu, you will not regret it. Very interesting preparation with them almost deconstructing the cake into 2 pieces with crispy sugar along the side. Overall, very pleased with this meal. It was a good change of pace for the typical Italian meal and a worthwhile walk from the main drag in order to reach this location. Will be back to try to other innovative dishes they have to offer.

Yelp
We happened upon this place walking along the water, and boy did we score! Wonderful service, wonderful environment on the water; the food is excellent beginning to end. Highly recommended.

Yelp
My partner and I arrived here hangry and looking for a good meal - luckily that's what we found!! We split a couple of things, recommended by our wonderful server: their version of saor, a large mixed fry, and tiramisu for dessert. The saor was wonderful, we weren't sure if we were going to like all of the strong flavors, but everything worked together so well! I preferred the pickled fish and onions portion of the dish while my partner preferred the whipped cod. The mixed fry came pre-split for us on two plate (wonderful surprise) and each of our portions were so large we had to ask to make sure they didn't accidentally make us two! LOL The mixed fry had zucchini, carrots, squid, and prawns - it was a beautiful light batter that was fried to perfection and served with a sweet chili dipping sauce. 10/10! The tiramisu was also delicious, it was a deconstructed version but had all the flavors we've come to expect. The place was a little pricy, we were glad we split everything, but for a view of the sunset over the water and very fresh seafood - it was worth the price (and our bill would have been much cheaper sans-wine)

Yelp
Horrendous. Priciest meal we've had in a week and a half in Italy. And takes last place out of all our dinners. Do not go even if it's right next door and convenient.

Meagan M.

Yelp
Not to be a hater but this place is not yummy. If you've eaten other places in Italy, like Florence, then you know yummy food. This isn't it. Get Italian food, not Venetian food!!! The pasta here was sweet (not my preference), the bread was strange and seemed stale, and the tuna tar tar was a really strange combo of flavors that took away the inherent freshness and lightness of tar tar that you'd be expecting/wanting. Also, service was slow even though we were basically the only people there lol. Gin drinks here are strong and good, though!

Leo G.

Yelp
Italian restaurant with excellent views of San Michele, La Chiatta di Dante and Murano. Lunch with a cocktail was around €65. Service was not rushed, enjoyed my time here. Conveniently adjacent to the F. te Nove water taxi embarkation stop to the nearby Murano island and San Michele cemetery.

Yelp
I was very excited to get here on my first night in Venice. I think I needed to readjust my desire and expectations as I was really hoping for an authentic and homey type of place where no one spoke English. It was also apparent to me that our hotel was always recommending this spot to the guests. The pros are that the view is ridiculous...you're right on the water looking out and it doesn't get much better than that. The inside and outside are both very modern and done up. The food and menu wasn't as comforting as I was hoping for - the food was great and done well but I think this review is based solely on my own experience. My dinner in particular was a smaller pasta dish (and I was starving so it didn't hit the spot). I also felt that the menu description and what I got was disconnected. If you want a nicer dinner, modern feel with a view, go here for sure. If you want something a bit more off the beaten path, you may not find that here.

Jim P.

Yelp
I almost never give five stars, but this place is close. Make a reservation, ask for a table on the water. It's gorgeous as the sun is sinking and the lights are coming on. Had the benefit of a gorgeous full moon. Beef tartare, tuna tartare, amberjack, veal cheek...all just so, so good. Andy (Andrea) was a fabulous server and he and the staff took very good care of us. Excellent and lovely and romantic.

Jimmy L.

Yelp
Found this place on Yelp while looking for a romantic last dinner in Venice with my girlfriend. We watched the entire sunset for three hours and enjoyed some of the best cuisine I'd had in Venice thus far. The waiters were extremely helpful and friendly and the prices were not too high considering the atmosphere and level of food. Would absolutely recommend to anyone.

Sallie S.

Yelp
Fantastic!!! The food was outrageously good. Each bite a taste sensation. We were very early for lunch but they accommodated us so warmly. The staff were attentive the wine list extensive the service impeccable. Best restaurant in Venezia!!!! Whatever you do visit this place... You won't regret it. *get the crema di patate con tartufo

Victoria R.

Yelp
Algiubagio is NOT an inexpensive place to eat, but the food is so phenomenal it's totally worth the cost, and THEN some! My last meal here included steak with grapes, tuna tartare with wasabi mayonnaise and honey, tiramisu, and an outstanding bottle of local wine. Everything was fabulous, and it was all served with friendly, professional flair. I have no hesitation about recommending this place, and look forward to returning on a future trip to Venice :-)

Pablo C.

Yelp
We did a lot of reading up before our first trip to Italy to find not only the best things to see and places to visit but also where to eat. We started with Venice and one reoccurring theme we found in our research was that many people feel that it's really hard to find truly good food here. Most places are geared toward the millions of tourist that flock to Venice year round and are pretty average. We were able to find ok food in lots of places but nothing that knocked our socks off. This place was the best we were able to find. The views are spectacular, the atmosphere is great, the service is outstanding and the food was really good. We found better food on the rest of our trip but we would definitely recommend this restaurant in Venice.

Patricia I.

Yelp
Beautiful first meal in Venice! Right on the water with a view of Murano. Food: Raviolis- Soooooo good, light not too heavy and perfectly stuffed, they make all of their own pasta Drinks: Bellini- Delish and strong Dessert: Chocolate mouse cubes with baked oranges and almond pillows- exactly how it sounds and absolutely perfect way to end the meal

Lisa W.

Yelp
This place is A-OK. Food is slightly above average for the Venice food scene. We ordered several cocktails and a couple of pasta dishes for lunch. Nothing mind blowing. The breadbasket here is varied and large. We came here for the view and for that reason; I would dine here for lunch rather than dinner and opt for their generous umbrella covered patio. It's on the "less crowed" side of the island which was nice. Service was outstanding. We enjoyed our relaxing lunch but I would not dine here again.

Frank K.

Yelp
It all started with a early afternoon stroll through Venice. We were looking for a place to have drinks and a great meal. As we strolled down the winding cobblestone pathways leading to the coast, a pigeon's shit landed on my fiancé hair. LMAO... As we searched for a bathroom to clean her hair, we talked about how getting shit on was a sign of good luck. Lo and behold we came across this restaurant overlooking the Ocean and took it as a sign to eat there. We started with cocktails since it was a still a little early for the restaurant to be open for lunch. My fiancé preferred the Prosecco over the Spritz. But overall are drinks were very satisfying. We later moved tables to the main outside patio where the view was spectacular. We ordered a variety of dishes. The fowl stuffed ravioli was flavorful and unique. I've never tasted anything like it. The sea bass was placed on a crispy palenta cake. The dish was cooked very well, but I felt like the beat purée underneath overpowered the dish. The Spicy Linguine dish was far from spicy. But was put together very well. And finally the world class Desert. Talk about a palette pleaser. The staff were very polite an attentive. The prices were fair for the gourmet food and quality of service. We easily spent 2hrs eating and drinking while enjoying the beautiful scenery. I would recommend this restaurant.

Chong P.

Yelp
Spectacular scenery. Great view of the water and away from the hustle bustle of the Grand Canal. If you don't mind spending a little bit more for your food, this place will not disappoint you at all. Great, attentive service. Tasty food. The Amberjack fish is a must! The pasta is cooked perfectly. You have to sit outside and spend as much time as possible taking in the sights! And grab a bottle of Proseco and make the moments linger. Oh and by the way, get the lemon sorbet with the basil/mint in it. Very addicting.

Lauren D.

Yelp
This place is pretty great! We made an 8:30 PM reservation but wandered over early and just ended up going in because it was pretty empty in there. So atmosphere-wise, not the most exciting, but everything else delivered. The service was incredibly polite, professional and on top of everything. Plus the food was amazing! My husband and I split everything, starting with the sweet and sour sardines which were so flavorful but my favorite was the creamed cod on the side. Next, we split the linguine and the tomato sauce it was coated in tasted so fresh. Lastly, we split the ombrina, which is a fish I'd never had before but it tasted wonderful. This place set the bar really high for us!

Aileen P.

Yelp
Took my husband here for his birthday and it was probably one of the best birthday dinners I have surprised him with. When booking this reservation, I had no idea that it was a Michelin star restaurant for 2018. The food was absolutely amazing and worth every penny! The decor is very modern and not typical of Venice but still very nice. If I find myself back in Venice, I'd definitely go back.

Sam S.

Yelp
I found it hard to rate this place in the sense that it had a lot of the things I had hoped for but missing some things I would consider essential. For location this is definitely a 5 stars. It's quiet, romantic, classy and understated. It's away from all the tourist areas and very calm and peaceful. The service is impeccable and the waiter we had was incredibly accommodating. They also did everything to ensure our special occasion truly felt special. The food however was 3 stars for me. My steak was cooked to perfection but lacked seasoning. The tuna tartar was nice but the sauce had a really flowery taste to it instead of the Wasabi flavour. My wife had a tart which was supposed to have cheese and cherry and as it turns out it was cheese and chicory (yes there is a big difference). Coffee here is excellent. Maybe I should come back try the seafood and pasta as my wife loved her Truffle infused spaghetti :-) I would definitely come back here for ambience and service and try something different next time.

Janelle F.

Yelp
I couldn't find the original place that I had wanted to go (shocking got lost in Venice), so decided to stop here and pay the higher prices and hope that it was worth it. I got the gazpacho with smoked burrata and the fettuccine with shrimp and 2 glasses of wine (smallest pours in all of Italy so far). The dishes were excellent! The view off the water was also very nice. The service was great as well. I'm only giving it 4 stars since I was overcharged for the service fee (was charged for 2 people instead of 1) which I didn't realize until later. I know Venice is more expensive so I'm chalking the 53 euro bill up to that...

Kristina S.

Yelp
Fabulous restaurant! It's right on the water which is nice and may seem a bit out of the way but close enough to the ferry stop to be worth the ride. You can sit inside or out depending on the weather. We chose inside since it was a bit chilly and the decor is very very nice. Great service as well. They have tasting menu options or you can order from the menu, which we did. The zucchini flowers and langoustines app was really tasty but do wish they gave a little more. For a main course the rabbit rage over pasta was incredible. The rabbit was perfectly cooked as was the pasta and the olives were a spot on addition. Also try the pasta with scallops and carrots, great cream sauce on that dish as well.

Qiao W.

Yelp
I normally do not write reviews. But This is the best restaurant I ever had in Italy. Best wine and best steak, highly recommended. Seafood is fresh and very tasty. Don't forget to get yourself a homemade dessert. You can sit next to the river, but I choose to sit inside, which is also very good. The location takes some time to walk, but it worths. The price is just a little higher than others in Venice, but the food and service is much more better.

Susan W.

Yelp
Dinner with an amazing view. We ordered the beef tartare which was delicious! The entrees were just ok. We ordered a steak (came a bit over cooked for medium rare) and a linguini with clams. The clams were a bit sandy. You can taste the grits as you chewed. And the flavor tasted like it was straight from the ocean (salty and fishy). But again people come for the view... And for dessert we ordered the chocolate mousse. That did not disappoint. I wanted to take one to go!

Merijn H.

Yelp
Very nice place, great location, great food, great service, great wines! We had a great diner at this quite modern restaurant. They make the traditional dishes with a modern twist. We wanted to taste as much as we could and were able to share dishes of antipasti, primi, secundi, a great Italian cheeses platter, and dulce with very nice local Veneto wines and a nice special desert-wine. Probably you already know but most restaurants fill up easily in Venice so reservations are a good way to prevent disapointment. There is a great terrace overlooking the lagoon towards the Cemitero and Murano islands. The terrace can be in the shadow for a big part of the day and if it is windy it will definitely be too cold to sit outside here anyway. The restaurant is right at the Fundamente Nuove boat stop and it is about a 15 minute walk across the Canneregio area from Rialto.

Hans H.

Yelp
This was a little bit of a disappointment. The Amberjack fish steak was excellent but the other meals I sampled (of my companions') were below expectations. The gnocchi was a bit mushy and dull, while the spaghetti noodles were extra thick and more than fashionably underdone. It just made for a pasty experience. The steak was just acceptable but nothing to write home about. On the other hand, the service was outstanding. The main waiter was friendly yet super efficient and helpful. I'd go back just to be taken care of by him and his team. The deck was also a beautiful place to sit with a great water view.

Diana F.

Yelp
Excellent service. Great food. Make a reservation on Trip advisor. Ask for quiet table or eat outside. Great view of Murano

Dee N.

Yelp
We went to this place for dinner last night. This is a 'fancy' place, the date night or celebration kind of place. The food was amazing!!! Just out of the world! We ordered every vegetarian pasta listed on the menu. The portions were tiny but bear in mind that this menu is setup to have a multiple course meal over a longer time window. We had the kids and so we were racing through our meal. My recommendation to this restaurant is to have a few vegetarian options for the other courses as well, not just the pasta course. The deserts were wild! We ordered 4 different ones and everyone of them was a delightful surprise. One thing I wanted to also highlight that this a higher end restaurant price-wise.

Henry G.

Yelp
This is a fantastic place to stop for dinner. We were four and tried many items from the menu. The food is all skillfully prepared and innovative at the same time. Service is attentive but that doesn't mean that you feel rushed at any time. We had items ranging from veal cheeks to pasta and let's just say the food was so good that the talking at the table ceased when each course was brought out. The only issue is the proximity to the Vaporetto stop. Occasionally you will get a whiff of diesel exhaust but is fleeting and the view far outweighs the sounds and smells.

Kevin H.

Yelp
The most magnificent meal we had in all of Europe. The sunset on the patio on the ocean was delightful. Despite being tourists our server patiently explained the wine list and all of the dishes. Truly the best meal I have ever had! A once in a lifetime experience in magic place for our honeymoon. Giulio was the best server and made the experience delightful! Valentino was also very cordial and made sure to introduce himself. First class service.

Vlada B.

Yelp
We have chosen to visit this restaurant due to the abundance of great reviews and c'mon, who doesn't love a perfectly-sounding Italian spot with a view of the water? Ha. There was a small issue with one of the dishes served - we found a dead fly in the food and proceeded to inform the waiter about it as soon as he arrived. Not too sure how well they understand English, but it was quite obvious that the insect is not supposed to be there. The waiter did not express any apologies whatsoever and simply took the plate away, oh well. Later on a different waiter comes to offer us desserts, which we politely declined and asked for the bill. Knowing how these things usually work, the establishment AT LEAST removes that dish from the bill and guess what, it was still there. We called the waiter to advise that we had an issue with one of our dishes, therefore we feel it's not fair for us to pay for it. He came back with the new bill and simply left it on the table - nothing else said. We decided to simply pay the rest (not worth it at all, by the way) and leave. My goodness, you should have seen the face the waiter gave us on the way out - it felt like we were the reason of all of his problems, so rude! I'm a hospitality professional, therefore am aware of how things are done in the business. Would it really hurt to apologize? Make a tiny smile? I feel that management really needs to look into this issue as this is the most rude encounter I have ever had so far - absolutely unacceptable. Having a restaurant with a great view does not mean you can do whatever you want. Truly hoping that all those positive reviews were genuine, as we didn't feel even a tiny bit of all those praises. Not coming back ever.

Jimmy S.

Yelp
Quite decent food, but a bit pricey. To be fair, this was one of our better meals in Venice. The location is great as it's right on the water. The service was prompt and the servers were nice. The plating/presentation was spectacular. I'd say it's 3.5-4 star food with a 4.5 star price.

Kathleen S.

Yelp
My husband and I were treated to the best cuisine, service and ambiance in Venice. Moreover, it was one of the top dining experiences we have had in our travels. Algiubagio is a beautiful and romantic setting situated on the water overlooking Murano and other islands of Venice. Giulio's passion for a unique culinary experience is reflected with every detail. I enjoyed amberjack marinated in chocolate and coffee with an eggplant creme and olives. It was amazing. Finished with a sorbet of lemon and basil. Buon appetito.

Cindy H.

Yelp
Algiubagio is an upscale restaurant. They have nice tastefully done decor from beautiful Chandelier to Murano Glass for water. As for food it's pricey and for this price point their food taste ok and nothing great that wow me. I give four stars because the environment and service was good. It's a good for people who want to experience good environment, view ( restaurant is by water and during day there is good view), and service.

Erin L.

Yelp
* Best dinner in Venice and Italy * We dined on a beautiful dock over the water * The place is located away from the tourists and off the main streets of Venice * Impeccable service * Steaks on the menu, which is a rarity in Italy * Homemade tiramisu was the best I have ever had * Delicious and creamy basil, lemon sorbet * Great house Pinot Grigio

Rich S.

Yelp
This is certainly one of the top 10 restaurants in all of Venice for outstanding Italian food with an incredible ambiance. The food is absolutely delicious and beautifully represented. The terrace is simply marvelous with amazing views overlooking the lagoon. If you are looking for a romantic Italian restaurant which you'll remember forever this is the place. Friendly service, beautifully prepared food, great views, and delicious wine. I highly recommend this restaurant with 5 stars!

Jon-Hayes P.

Yelp
Don't get the steak, it's a rather rough cut of Italian beef. Everything else on the menu is AMAZING. Great atmosphere and service. Fresh fish was best in Venice and phenomenal wine choice.

Rosalind S.

Yelp
We just happened to be in Venice when some friends were and she picked this restaurant based on location and rave reviews about the food. We got really good seats overlooking the water. The pasta was amazing! After having handmade pastas I always say I would never go back to machine made ones. The texture was perfect! All of their dishes were very good; I don't think there was a complaint at all. The staff was a little cold though but we enjoyed our lunch there.

Yelp
Excellent place to sit and have a drink or a meal on a sunny day on the waterside. Looking out on San Michele as the boats go past is so relaxing! You have a view of the airport runway in the distance too so you can see planes landing. They do a great spritz and the lemon sorbet with mint and basil is lovely. It's a must if it's a nice day.

Yelp
Fantastic! Make a reservation for dinner on the dock. Don't miss this place. I had the Venice chicken which was incredible. Wife had the sea bass which I found slightly bland buy perfect for her taste. On the higher end price wise but worth every penny.

Yelp
After a tour of the Murano Glass factory we came here based on a recommendation of our guide Oscar. The food and service were the best we had in our two day visit. We ate and drank our way through Venice. Beautiful view from patio outside. A 2pm lunch we had no difficulty getting a table. When we left closer to 4pm, It seemed that there was a lot of set up for dinner. Maybe a reservation would be recommended.

Yelp
Very good. Staff was exceptionally friendly and courteous. Atmosphere was great. Food was great (some of the more exotic seafood did not agree with me but I suspect that was personal taste). A very good option for someone looking to avoid the tourist traps.
