I have been going to this restaurant for years and it has consistently been excellent. It's a small and intimate restaurant, so making a reservation is highly recommended. The food is truly delicious, offering a wonderful selection of hot and cold meze. The main courses are superb, and to finish, they have delicious desserts and excellent domestic coffee.

5 stars well deserved! Service with a smile and attention, food was tasty and plentiful. We were a group of six on our last night in Malta. Two of us had the vegetarian mezze items, the other four had the main meat dishes also ( no vegetarian options for main course), although too full to have any dessert. Oh and the wine list is extensive and we chose well with our red.

AMAZING!! We found this place on google when looking for a place for dinner last minute that was close to where we were staying in Gzira, and omg we were impressed!! Between the 2 of us we got a range of plates to share and we were so impressed by everything. We really recommend the lamb, it was so tender and juicy and probably the best lamb we've ever had! Everything else was equally amazing. We had some Lebanese wine that was so good as well. We were being constantly impressed whenever everything came out. The service was amazing and the restaurant didn't disappoint.

Visited Ali Baba for my birthday celebration with my family. Unique flavours and attention to detail. Hany and his team always exceed our expectations. One of the very best restaurants on the island. Well done Chef.

We have been before but it’s been a while, so we were looking forward to enjoying some very good Mediterranean/ Middle Eastern food. The serving staff as smart and attentive as always - they deserve the best accolades as much as the cooking staff for their amazing food. We asked for our Albanian server to choose the food for us and he made some great choices. The starter hummus dips and lamb/harissa dip were so nice with the fresh bread. We felt the felafal had a very hard / burnt exterior shell, but all the meat based dishes were simply divine, including the lamb tongue. The wine is on the expensive side and the servers tried to sell more of it - doing their job. But the biggest hang up we had was the heat in the restaurant- we really couldn’t imagine eating there in summer. Having said that, I’m in love with this place - recommended

Nice quiet place for a meal. Very attentive service. Food was really nice, very good family run business. Highly recommended if in malta. Reasonably priced and generous portions.

The best Lebanese food on earth has been found in Malta. Hands down. Ali Baba has welcomed us countless times - always highlighted each and every of our special occasions with their taste that actually cannot be described with words. You have to try it out in order to understand what I mean.
