I didn’t stay at the hotel, just ate at the restaurant at the recommendation of some fellow travelers I met. Well worth the price. This is an absolutely perfect date night spot. Delicious wine, incredible food, great atmosphere. I’ll be dreaming about the shredded octopus and the shrimp dishes for a long time haha.

We stayed at Alibi by Yours for my spouse’s birthday and had a fantastic experience. The hotel is perfectly located, within easy walking distance of multiple main city sights, making it an excellent base for exploring Porto. Check-in was smooth and welcoming—we arrived in person but also received clear instructions via text in case of a late arrival, which was a thoughtful touch. The hotel itself is beautifully renovated, clean, and has a luxe feel. While there are quite a few stairs (which might not be ideal for everyone), the overall ambiance and design more than made up for it. We were pleasantly surprised to find that our room included a small balcony, which made celebrating even more special. Having a restaurant and wine bar downstairs was also a huge plus, adding to the convenience and charm of the stay. As for the room, it was standard in size but well-appointed, with a very comfortable bed and a rack for hanging clothes. It served its purpose well, offering a cozy and stylish retreat after a day of sightseeing. What truly set this hotel apart was the exceptional service, particularly from Andreia at check-in and checkout. He went above and beyond to help arrange a birthday surprise for my spouse, setting up brut, chocolates, strawberries, and decorations before our arrival. This extra effort made our stay incredibly special and memorable. Overall, I highly recommend Alibi by Yours to anyone visiting Porto. Between the fantastic location, stylish accommodations, and outstanding hospitality, it’s a perfect choice for a comfortable and memorable stay.

When my wife and I travel, we rarely go back to a restaurant more than once trying to experience all that we can in a city. But we visited Alibi three times, it was that good! The food, the service, the wine was all absolutely amazing. All of our servers were excellent, but I wanted to call special attention to Letizia, each time we were there she made sure our service was above and beyond. Making sure our wine glasses were kept full, and that we were happy with everything. The food was terrific, we had the clams, they were so very tender and delicious simple but majestic. We also had the St. John’s salad, a beautiful summer salad made of roasted peppers, onions, fresh garlic, olive oil, and a little bit of heat from some peppers, so very good. We also had the prawns in a delicious sauce that we used the homemade fresh bread for dipping, so out of this world, we highly recommend Alibi if you are in Porto.

We fell upon this place on our last afternoon in Porto. Being a party of 6 its sometimes understandable to be denied without an advance booking. However, this last minute find proved to be our favourite spot of our trip to Portugal. Food and service were outstanding especially when you consider hospitality in Portugal is of a high standard . Tomato salad although simple was delicious, meat and fish fishers of high quality. The recommended wine was fantastic and very reasonable. Thank you for a great afternoon

This place is an absolute temple of good taste and hospitality. We got amazing service from Gibson, gorgeous drinks from João and food to loose yourself in from Sig. all served with so much passion and heart that we can only regret not booking a later flight to spend more time at this place. If you ever have the possibility to visit this place, do it!

Had the most amazing time trying different wines and ports here. The manager Bruno was very knowledgeable and gave us the best service in town. They have a restaurant and terrace in the back as well. A very special thank you to the owner who treated us like family and gave us the local experience.

We stumbled upon this wonderful venue to escape the rain. Then we were enchanted. We enjoyed an excellent wine tasting and made some great friends with other guests. When we asked about a celiac-friendly restaurant, we were promptly invited to the restaurant at the back of the shop. We could hardly believe the dreamy ambiance that awaited us. This was followed by an unforgettable dinner with wine pairing. When we left the venue several hours later, it was still raining, but our mood couldn't have been better. We left slightly tipsy and with our stomachs full of delicious food. A very special thank you goes to the entire service team. We haven't experienced such excellent, attentive, and friendly service in a long time. We will definitely be back.

Alibi blends hidden‑gem charm with big-city energy—think stone walls, a lush courtyard, and wine‑glassed sophistication in the heart of Baixa. The food is creative and local‑flavored, the wine list impressive, and every server seems to genuinely care. It’s the kind of spot locals nod to and visitors brag about
