Alice Cheongdam

This was honestly the bar that impressed me the most in Seoul. Our bartender friend Stephen was incredibly helpful with everything. We had amazing cocktails—not just in terms of taste, but the whole experience was outstanding. From the speakeasy-style entrance to the hidden doors leading to the restroom and smoking area, everything followed a clever Down the Rabbit Hole / Alice in Wonderland theme. The staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, the flavors were fantastic, and the decor and overall ambiance were of the highest quality. We genuinely didn’t want to leave. We’re so grateful for everything and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting Seoul. It’s an experience not to be missed.

We lucked out when we manage to get a table at this bar. It is of course an Alice in wonderland themed bar and they even had Alice in wonderland playing in the background. The menu was really cute. It was made to look like a deck of cards. The drinks were numbered; higher the number, the stronger it was. We ordered number 2, 7 and 8. The drinks were all quite nice and easy to drink. Number 8 which is called quack quack was a cocktail comprised of whisky, sweet potato, balsamic and smoked duck fat. It was somewhat layered so the cocktail changes as we drank it. There is a cover charge and the cover charge included a welcome drink (which was delicious) and packet snacks. It was a nice and worthwhile experience.

Alice is hard to describe. It’s a bar with a soul—a striking fusion of the Alice in Wonderland theme and speakeasy culture. Once you step down the rabbit hole, an unforgettable adventure begins. The interior is full of delightful details, and the menu contains many fun surprises. The smoking area and restrooms are accessed through hidden doors you won’t find from the outside. The menu offers a whole other kind of mystery, divided into four main categories, making it easier for everyone to find a flavor they’ll enjoy. I tried the “10” and “J” from the menu. The cocktails I tasted featured combinations I couldn’t have imagined—like vodka and gorgonzola?! Both upon entering the bar and on the menu, the motto “Be Wonder” perfectly captures the experience, which was truly beyond words.

One of the most interesting bars in Seoul, innovative drinks and guaranteed fun! Cute cosy decor, friendly and experienced staff, menu was cute and options were extensive. Highly recommend you to check them out and experience the fun for yourself! It is a small space so reservations is a must.

Very fun themed cocktail bar with funky cocktails, snacks and excellent service! Although a bit on the pricy side, if you like creative cocktails and a speakeasy vibe - you will love this place!

Looking for a cocktail bar that is both unique in appearance and theme, as well as offers a stunning selection of drinks? Then this is the spot for you. The venue itself is a breathtaking speakeasy bar, with comfortable couches and great bar seats. The service is fabulous, with bar tenders who speak great English. And the drink menu is super unique. We had each 2 drinks, but the ones that stood out are the banana cocktail (forgot the name) and the birthday cake drink. Highly recommended and would return!
