Alice's Cottages

Stayed Thursday night 23/10/2025 in the Outlander Cottage with my husband celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary 22/10 and my 62nd birthday on 24/10. Previously I stayed in the Irish cottage last month September whilst each cottage was different both are superior accommodation. The extras that make you feel extra special ease of parking at your front door the whole experience is so unique. Looking back we also stayed in July 2010 in the English Cottage ..Fifteen years ago ..Memories last forever .

Absolutely delightful stay in the English cottage. Alice’s Cottages really goes above and beyond, all the little touches and comforts, we chose to stay in the night and just enjoy the cottage. Obviously a labour of love and so thoughtful. We loved it so much we’ve booked to stay again. Easy parking, easy check in, walk to the centre. Super cosy delightful stay.

Had such a lovely stay! We got the French cottage and it was perfect. Really appreciated the little touches like the French-themed movies and books—they made it feel extra special. The wine was the perfect finishing touch. Definitely recommend!

Have stayed twice, our 1st visit was 4 nights in the Outlander cottage and more recently 3 nights in the Irish cottage and if we ever visit Tasmania again will definitely stay again in one of the others. It is like stepping back in time but still having all the modern cons. Breakfast is included and it is exceptional.

The cottage was immaculately presented and super clean. Despite the small exterior, it was quite roomy inside and perfect for a couple. We lit the open fire with the provided wood (and firelighters) and enjoyed the complimentary bottle of wine. The bed was comfortable, spa was huge and the breakfast provisions were very generous. I am a light sleeper and there was no disturbing traffic noise. The cottages are well insulated, as we couldn't hear a peep from our neighbouring cottages. We will definitely be staying again. Our night in the beautifully presented French cottage was wonderful, from the most comfortable, large bed to the huge spa bath. The breakfast was super-generous; too much to eat and we appreciated the coffee pod machine, the port and complementary bottle of red. We highly recommend Alice’s Cottages and we will be back. Really high quality accommodation.

This is our second time staying at Alice's Cottages. Great location, easy check in / out and very comfortable. Fireplace with wood provided kept the cottage very warm, including the bedroom. Breakfast provisions provided as well. Bed was comfortable, loved the theme of the cottage. You can see that much thought has gone into this. Definitely recommended, and over time we will stay in each of the themed cottages

Wow!! This place is just amazing!! So much more than what you would expect! My husband and I stayed in the Outlander cottage. We chose this one as we were celebrating our 10 year anniversary and 10 years ago we met in Scotland. This place brought back so many precious memories. You can tell that the owners have their hearts and soul in this place. We had a beautiful stay! Thank you!
