Alice's Cottages

An absolutely wonderful place to stay. Cozy and warm with the fireplace, comfy bed, couch. Outlander Cottage was so authentic, loved the attention to detail. A huge basket for breakfast was so generous and a store cupboard of anything we ran out of or that we needed. A great set up, the hosts thought of everything for a relaxing stay. Love to go back one day.

We recently stayed in the 'Scottish ' cottage which is part of Alice's Cottages. The cottage was absolutely amazing. It was a privilege to stay in such a beautiful place. Have stayed twice, our 1st visit was 4 nights in the Outlander cottage and more recently 3 nights in the Irish cottage and if we ever visit Tasmania again will definitely stay again in one of the others. It is like stepping back in time but still having all the modern cons. Breakfast is included and it is exceptional.

Alice’s Cottage is a lovely old cottage full of rustic, period charm — cracks and all. The attention to detail is wonderful, and there was a generous supply of breakfast items. The gardens are stunning. Communication was friendly and helpful throughout. We’d definitely stay again.

Stayed Thursday night 23/10/2025 in the Outlander Cottage with my husband celebrating our 37th wedding anniversary 22/10 and my 62nd birthday on 24/10. Previously I stayed in the Irish cottage last month September whilst each cottage was different both are superior accommodation. The extras that make you feel extra special ease of parking at your front door the whole experience is so unique. Looking back we also stayed in July 2010 in the English Cottage ..Fifteen years ago ..Memories last forever .

Absolutely delightful stay in the English cottage. Alice’s Cottages really goes above and beyond, all the little touches and comforts, we chose to stay in the night and just enjoy the cottage. Obviously a labour of love and so thoughtful. We loved it so much we’ve booked to stay again. Easy parking, easy check in, walk to the centre. Super cosy delightful stay.

Stayed in the French Cottage which was charming. It had everything you could need and the breakfast was generous and very nice. Easy check in and checkout along with a washer and dryer to use. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend staying here.
