Alicion Bed & Breakfast

We stayed here on a three week tour of NS in the Dragonfly room. Easy parking on site, well kept, clean house and garden. It was a real treat to stay in a period house that maintains so many period features but has all modern day comforts- wonderful bed and linens, well equipped bathroom with great shower. It was a hot few days but the breeze meant we didnt need the aircon and we slept very well. |Joe was a perfect host (we didnt meet chris) friendly and helpful with planning our trip. Breakfast was great quality and we enjoyed the company of the other guests.|We had enjoyable suppers at Beach Pea and Lincoln St Food (book both ahead). |We have been fortunate to spend the last thirty five years travelling around much of the world and Alicion is one of our favourite stopovers. Don’t hesitate to book.

Had the pleasure of staying in this amazing Bed and Breakfast. The hospitality was top notch. The house and grounds were beautiful. Joe and Christopher the hosts were so personable, helpful and friendly. It is obvious they take great pride in ensuring their guests have the best experience. The breakfast was homemade and the ingredients were amazing! The homemade jams, amazing bread, the homemade yogurt and fruit parfait. You definitely will have a great personable experience. Location is perfect. Can't wait to go back for more nights soon!

Lovely historic building in beautiful Lunenburg. Room and bedroom were really nice and comfortable. Check in was fine although we were a little later than requested but we had advised the owner beforehand that we would be late as had 2 flights and a drive to get there. Breakfast was really nice and accommodated my husband's gluten free requirements. It was a sociable breakfast with everyone eating together. It is a shame that the owners are selling but hopefully someone will take it on as a bed and breakfast business.

After spending a lovely day touring Lunenburg, we were very excited about our stay at the Alicion B&B. The only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer. Only one night for us but it was a wonderful one! The property and room were perfect. I was so happy to be on the main floor, felt a little more private. Our breakfast was outstanding and Joe was a wonderful host who made us feel so welcome. Thank you for everything, you have an amazing home.

Perfect accommodations, walking distance to the wharf and restaurants. Lovely gardens, wrap around veranda and very comfortable with modern amenities. Joe was so helpful recommending a walking tour and the most scenic route to drive to Digby (Crescent Beach stop in as amazing). We really enjoyed our breakfast and sitting/chatting with the other guests. Thanks again Joe and Christophe, you have a lovely home and made us feel so welcome.

The hosts were absolutely lovely gentlemen! The room was clean and fresh and oh so comfortable. I stayed in the Periwinkle room and the soaker tub was devine. I was the only guest during my stay as I went before the busy season and I felt very welcome and safe. This was my first B&B stay and it was such a good experience I am going to try to stay at more B&B's in the future!

Everything about this B&B was first class. Very clean room/bathroom and entire house. Joe was extremely personable|Breakfast was lovely and plentiful|Liked not bring on the main drag but close enough to walk and enjoy it
