Alicion Bed & Breakfast

Lovely historic building in beautiful Lunenburg. Room and bedroom were really nice and comfortable. Check in was fine although we were a little later than requested but we had advised the owner beforehand that we would be late as had 2 flights and a drive to get there. Breakfast was really nice and accommodated my husband's gluten free requirements. It was a sociable breakfast with everyone eating together. It is a shame that the owners are selling but hopefully someone will take it on as a bed and breakfast business.

After spending a lovely day touring Lunenburg, we were very excited about our stay at the Alicion B&B. The only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer. Only one night for us but it was a wonderful one! The property and room were perfect. I was so happy to be on the main floor, felt a little more private. Our breakfast was outstanding and Joe was a wonderful host who made us feel so welcome. Thank you for everything, you have an amazing home.

Perfect accommodations, walking distance to the wharf and restaurants. Lovely gardens, wrap around veranda and very comfortable with modern amenities. Joe was so helpful recommending a walking tour and the most scenic route to drive to Digby (Crescent Beach stop in as amazing). We really enjoyed our breakfast and sitting/chatting with the other guests. Thanks again Joe and Christophe, you have a lovely home and made us feel so welcome.

The hosts were absolutely lovely gentlemen! The room was clean and fresh and oh so comfortable. I stayed in the Periwinkle room and the soaker tub was devine. I was the only guest during my stay as I went before the busy season and I felt very welcome and safe. This was my first B&B stay and it was such a good experience I am going to try to stay at more B&B's in the future!

Everything about this B&B was first class. Very clean room/bathroom and entire house. Joe was extremely personable|Breakfast was lovely and plentiful|Liked not bring on the main drag but close enough to walk and enjoy it

I stayed in the upstairs room with two twin beds for three nights in August 2024. The owners are wonderful hosts. The room and private bath were clean, quiet, and nicely appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast that they prepared each morning was beautifully presented and delicious. I enjoyed talking with the owners and they gave great suggestions for places to see in the area. I found the location to be perfect; it was just a few blocks from the main part of town, but on a quiet street. It was easy to walk around the attractive historic neighborhood that surrounded the bed and breakfast, and it was just a 3 block walk to the oldest part of the fabulous historic town. I took an excellent walking tour led by a local history teacher and learned all about the fascinating history and all of the beautifully preserved buildings and churches in Lunenburg. I had a wonderful stay at Alicion Bed and Breakfast!

Stayed one night in the Kingfisher suite. The host Joe was friendly and knowledgeable. The room was clean, stylish and spacey. Breakfast was delicious and served in the dining room with 4 other guests. We were able to share stories of our current trips while having breakfast. Only 15m walk to downtown old lunenberg town. Will stay again and would recommend this place to everyone.

Lovely B&B in beautiful Lunenburg. |Spotlessly clean and well appointed room with big bathroom. We were only here for one night so unfortunately didn’t get to enjoy our spa bath!|Breakfast was delicious - as with many B&bs there is only one choice so might not be for everyone. The breakfast is served at one large table with the other guests, great for me as I am a talker but may feel uncomfortable for some.|The garden is lovely with a little putting green, wish we had had more time to enjoy.|All round a pleasant stay!
