Nice tea cup type ride. Waste of a fast pass, but we didn't have a lot to choose from. Geared for the youngin's, but my 14-year-old daughter and I had fun. Last about 6 mins. Visuals are great with the as with the whole Toy Story area. This might be a ride that you could go on over and over with short waits.

This is a fun little ride..even as an adult, I catch myself laughing all the way through. If you purchase Genie+ this attraction is pretty much a walk on. Aesthetically..riding this at night definitely takes it up a notch. It seems to go by fairly quick..but I would still recommend, for both the kiddos and the adults!!

Google
Alien Swirling Saucers at Disney's Hollywood Studios is such a fun ride, especially if you're a Toy Story fan. This is a kiddie ride but I love it so much, and unapologetically at that! The ride is basically the same as Mater's Junkyard Jamboree at Disney's California Adventure at Disneyland in Anaheim, but with spaceships instead of tractors. The theming is so much better here. The ride vehicles are plenty big for two adults to fit (Pooh sized guests, take note!), and they are ridiculously stinking cute! You climb into your own colorful spaceship that's "driven" by a little green alien! I always pick my favorite, but all of their silly expressions just make it even better. The upbeat sci-fi music and bright lights add to the playful vibe, and the ride really swings you around which makes it both thrilling and family-friendly. A couple of things to keep in mind: the line is mostly outside, so it can get really hot during the day. If you're sensitive to spinning rides, you might feel a bit woozy afterward. For what it's worth, I suffer from motion sickness but this ride doesn't make me queasy at all (go figure). It's not as bad as the teacups (at WDW and Disneyland) or Roger Rabbit (at Disneyland), but it does swing around and can be a bit rough. Minus one star because I hate the queue area here, there isn't a lot to see, and its SUPER hot and can be long. Don't wait a long time for this ride, just come earlier in the day or either at night before closing and it's almost always a "walk on" attraction even when they close one of the two sides of the ride. Alien Swirling Saucers is a blast and definitely worth checking out if you're in Toy Story Land. Kids and adults will love it, too. It's a quick, fun ride that always leaves me smiling.

This is a fun crack the whip type of ride for kids of all ages. It is themed after the Buzz Lightyear and the aliens in the Toy Story movies so it is very colorful. There are two sides to the ride that doubles the amount of ride vehicles, so the queue lines will move fairly quick. The vehicles move in a figure eight fashion and the whip action is spring loaded so it is gentle and not harsh or violent. This makes it enjoyable for all. The themed music and voice announcements add to the atmosphere, Sit back, relax and enjoy this ride.

Google
Decent little ride, very simple. Not sure I would recommend waiting in a long line, the ride is pretty short and not spectacular. Fine for kids but there is a minimum height that will prevent very small kids from riding. No lap sitters!

Jamie Mac Donald

Google
good for people of all ages. It is a variation of spinning type rides. Enjoyed the added element the car behind the space ship so you bounce from side to side. I would not wait an hour but went early and the line seems lower since slinky dog is so popular.

Google
Alien Swirling Saucers is a basic, kid friendly ride within Toy Story land at Hollywood Studios. The ride moves in a circular (more like figure 8) type of pattern, but shouldn't be a concern unless you get motion sick extremely easily. The individual cars themselves do not spin like tea cups, but instead swing side to side. It's easily the least popular attraction in Toy Story land, but as a result, it usually has the shortest wait times which can be to your advantage. If you or your child are at all concerned about the ride, it is completely viewable from the side without having to get in line which is a plus.

Google
This is somewhat of a kiddie ride, but even adults will be surprised at how energetic it is. As the car towed by an alien makes its way around the ride, it definitely throws you around quite a bit. You are held in only by a seatbelt similar to what you'd find in a car, but only as a lap belt. The music changes with the season and on this trip was all Christmas music. Some of the carts were actually missing and had been removed for some reason. It's usually a shortish line and a good thing to do when the other lines have reached maximum capacity or simply as a quick amusement if needed.

Sofyan S.

Yelp
Ambiance (4/5): Feels like a kiddie toy story ride. They have nice statues and decorations though from Toy Story and kids would probably enjoy this. Intensity (Medium Low): Medium low because it could make you dizzy you're prone to it but I'm usually motion sick and had no issues here. Fun (4/5): It's as expected because you can see the ride from the outside. Basically you circle and shuffle around in these Saucers. It's pretty fun but I wouldn't wait longer than 30 minutes for this ride.

PackUpNGoNow L.

Yelp
OKAY RIDE Alien Swirling Saucers looks a lot more fun than it is. We first did this ride during the Christmas season when holiday music was played instead of the Toy Story soundtrack. Like all of Toy Story Land, Alien Swirling Saucers does a great job immersing riders into Andy's world - here the Little Green Aliens and riders are trying to escape the Claw. Swirling Aliens is very different from the Mad Tea Party (Magic Kingdom) spinning tea cups. Tea cup riders can speed up the spinning by spinning the wheel inside the cup. There is no need for seatbelts to secure riders. All ages can ride the tea cups. On Alien Swirling Saucer, riders are whipped back and forth. A single seatbelt strap secures riders who are slammed hard against each other. There is also a height requirement on Swirling Saucers. Toy Story Land is usually very crowded. Rarely is the wait time (covered outdoor line) for this short ride less than 1/2 hour.

Joseph G.

Yelp
Alien swirling saucers is a ride located in the toy story land portion of disneys Hollywood studios theme park. The ride modeled after the funny small green martians from the hit Toy Story franchise this is a ride for all ages and sizes and puts you in a alien space cart that spins and twirls in circles around a circular platform. Overall a simple but classic style theme park ride that is enjoyable for all ahead and sizes.

Babette C.

Yelp
We were running out of things to do at the end of the night, but this ride had a 10 minute wait time (it was more, but whatever). This ride was surprisingly fun. It's one of those rides where you get in a car, go in a circle, then you start getting flung back and forth. It's only a few minutes, but it was worth it to feel like a little kid again.

Amanda L.

Yelp
A lot more fun and wild than I expected it to be! These saucers truly do whip nae nae you a lot more than you might expect by just looking at it and we love the little green dudes, so this was peak vibes!! The green army men were doing a little drum line performance right outside of Alien Swirling Saucers, so we were here for a while just listening to all the banger music this ride was playing each time and watching people squeal with laugher! This is definitely a ride that is friendly to all! It doesn't get too spinny, it's all on the ground so no elevation changes/drops to be concerned with, and it's just soooooo cute! Love this ride and would ride it again and again - easy!

Lara T.

Yelp
This is a fun ride located in the Toy Story part of Hollywood studios. Definitely more of a kids ride, but it's for anyone. You are seated in a alien car and go swirling around the ride area, Luckily it's not too fast that you get too sick unless you are prone to motion sickness. My kids very much enjoyed this ride. The wait is usually not too long either as it moves pretty quickly.

Jeremy J.

Yelp
This a very fun ride actually. This is a kids ride but it is great for families not just kids. My daughter enjoyed it very much when we visited here on vacation. We liked the toy story theme and seeing all the neat toys.

Monique W.

Yelp
Alien Swirling Sauces is located in Toy Story Land within Disney Hollywood Studios. It's towards the Star Wars entrance. We ended up going to Disney World towards the end of July with all of the new social distancing guidelines in-place. There are queue markers stationed 6 feet apart and hand sanitization stations before/after the ride. There wasn't a wait-line for the Alien Swirling Sauces. We pretty much walked through the queue, toy story alien themed, which took about 5 minutes to hop on the ride. You're sitting in alien saucers. It's very similar to Disney's California Adventure Tow Mater ride. It whips you around in circular motions for about a minute or so. My daughter really enjoyed this ride. Great ride for the kiddos. If you get motion sickness, I'd avoid the ride though. You can get pretty dizzy quickly.

Michelle R.

Yelp
This ride does swirl...it reminds me of the Tow Mater ride at Disney California Adventure... it you get motion sickness real easy, just keep in mind it "whips" you around while in motion. The ride itself is a little over a minute, so go only if there's a short line. We used a fastpass on this, as we had no clue what it was.

Jackson Y.

Yelp
A modern take on the classic spinning saucer type ride. This is a kids ride that puts you in a "flaying saucer" and rotates you through a fugue 8 track. It is not too fast, so it's great for young kids. The colorful Toy Story aesthetics really shines here.

Matt F.

Yelp
Fun short ride for the kids - even for the adults too. My son wanted to go on this one, though as a parent it would've been low on my priority list. We did the fast pass here, because as other users pointed out, waiting on this for more than a half hour is a waste of time in the park. Each time passing here though, the wait times were on average for one hour. There are 2 sides to this ride - like Dumbo - to accommodate more people. The ride is fairly short, but most are. Throughout the ride, you hear futuristic sounds and of course the noise of the aliens (which can be annoying). It's a spinning ride like so many, but still not bad at all. Think Tea Cups(without the spinning), but with the gimmick of the Aliens towing you. The decor is of course great as they did a detailed job as they usually do with this ride. Located in Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios at World Disney World. Overall not a bad one. Kids will love it and of course fans of the movies will as well.

Maya C.

Yelp
I agree that this would be a big hit with the kiddies, but even I had some fun on it. It was a humid day and we had just got done watching the Toy Story soldiers recruit kids in to their army. A glance at the Wait Time for the ride was only 30 mins. I didn't make FastPasses for it as we saved those for the more popular rides so waiting in the queue wasn't a problem. The closer we got to the ride we could see what it was really about....and how short of a ride it was. That was a little disappointing. The ride consists of aliens "driving" you around while you sit in a carriage behind him while it sways side to side with every turn. Well, we were already here so we might as well. It was pretty good. There were some moments where we were changing paths and the carriage swung around, that I went crashing into my boyfriend and crushing him. We had several good smiles and laughs out of that. But again, the ride is short. I wouldn't seek out this ride again unless I was with someone who really wanted to go on it.

Sarah H.

Yelp
A surprisingly fun ride! Looks a bit childish at first glance but whips you around with such momentum that it's worth the wait. This ride is in the Toy Story area of Hollywood Studios and is next to the Slinky Dog Dash. The line was never too out of hand, although the ride was occasionally stopped for cleaning procedures for Covid-19 precautions- so worth the wait.

Cynthia V.

Yelp
The saucers! They swirl! OoOoOoOo This ride is very similar to the Tow Mater ride at Disney's California Adventure, but Alien themed (obviously). You board an alien spaceship pulled by a different alien ship occupied by our green three-eyed friends. This way, you are basically being pulled and swung around the floor as the ride starts to slowly spin, making for a wacky and fun experience.

Gaylon G.

Yelp

Yelp
I hope this is fun New ride Okay it doesn't spin like a tea cup It's a short ride Good for kids Sort of zig zags

Annette H.

Yelp
Located in the new Toy Story Land in Hollywood Studios, Walt Disney World. Fun concept where your saucer spins and changes platforms. Would definitely be a fun one for the kids, thought some of the spins made me slightly dizzy. :) Lots of other fun attractions nearby like Slinky Dog Racer, Toy Story Mania. Come early to avoid the crowds. We came during Magic Morning Hours (if you stay at a Disney resort or select hotels) so the line was probably about 20 min long.

Cassie P.

Yelp
Four stars because I could see this being a big hit with little kids; however, I wouldn't opt to go on it again by myself or with other adults. I didn't know what to expect from any of the new Toy Story rides, but jumped at the chance to get a FastPass when I saw it was available. That being said, we walked right onto the ride which I'm thankful for. It's a pretty quick ride, so without a FastPass, I wouldn't recommend waiting over 30 minutes for it. I would compare it to the teacups at Magic Kingdom. You spin around but it's not nauseating or jerky! I was really impressed by that and love the overall design because doesn't everyone just love those aliens?! Overall, I'm glad we were able to go but wouldn't say it's a must unless you have little ones with you!

Lorie L.

Yelp
Located in Toy Story Land, the saucers offer another quick ride to visitors. The line moves faster than stated and most of it is shaded, plus they have rotating fans. The ride itself gets a lot of people on at the same time. Two tracks swirl you into figure 8's - something between the Scrambler and Tilt a Whirl found at state fairs. Overall it's a fun 2 minutes but teenagers and some adults will be bored and not appreciate having to wait in line for it. I don't think my 13 year old cracked a smile.

Spencer J.

Yelp
Great time and fun ride; however, only on it for 2-3 minutes.

Shelby Z.

Yelp
The Alien Swirling Saucers is one of the additions to the fairly new Toy Story Land. I didn't have a lot of interest from the beginning to ride this one, but it ended up being one of our stops while waiting for other ride times to lower. It's cute; I thought it would be like a tea cup-esque ride, but it doesn't even spin completely around. Instead, you are in a car that is slung to the right and left. It's a nice ride for little kids, but not enough enjoyment for an adult, or even an older child. It's also pretty short. The upside is the wait is usually low, and it's fun to see more of the Toy Story Aliens in their own ride. But I would not care to ride it again unless I just need to pass the time.

John S.

Yelp
Very fun and kid friendly! My son rode this ride three times and wanted to it more, fun as heck

UltimateDisneyCruiseLineFan 0.

Yelp
This is a great ride to have a great spin on! This reminds me of Maters Junkyard Jamboree at Disney's California Adventure Park.

Mark W.

Yelp
Disney keeps the carnival theme from Toy Story Mania flowing throughout the new Toy Story Land including here at the Alien Swirling Saucers. This ride is a reimagining of the tea cup ride in Magic Kingdom done well. The alien is towing your ride vehicle with their saucer. It's a bit like being towed behind a boat on a float or wake board minus the wave jumps. Its neat how you change platforms. All in all pretty cool for adults and kids alike.

Lauri W.

Yelp
A cute, teacups-esque ride. We waited in the standby line for about 30 minutes. I probably wouldn't do that again because the ride was so short, but for a one time thing with my toddler, it was a fine ride. Loved how interactive the line was and it was really fast moving. I think it was a great choice for the Toy Story area, but overall not a MUST do unless your child insists.

Brian L.

Yelp
This was a fun ride for the little ones. It wasn't too fast and it didn't spin too much. I think we fast passed it and I think we did it twice. Just a variation of a classic ride in every theme park. Nothing unforgettable. Actually I've nearly forgotten it already. But it was alright.

Lindsay P.

Yelp
This was a cute ride! You must be 32 inches to ride, so my 3 year old went on. My husband, daughter and I fit easily in one car. The ride swirls you around, varying speed and direction. I am not typically a fan of more spinny rides, but I really enjoyed this! My daughter was begging to go on again! It kept nicely with the Toy Story theme, which is a big hit in our house. We had to wait around 15-20 minutes, and it was definitely worth the wait!

Ryan E.

Yelp
I wouldn't wait more than 30 minutes to ride. Slow and boring and nothing to do while waiting in line. I wish you could control the saucer. Super short about 2 minutes. Did a good job on the decor always impressed on the job Disney does. It's new so worth a ride. If you have kids over 7 they might find it boring like mine did. I have a 6 9 13 year old and the 6 year old liked it but if you have too choose between this and slinky dog its not even close slinky dog was a family favorite.

Pablo M.

Yelp
This ride is adorable and fun. It has some circles or loops for you which is relaxing actually. I wouldnt wait longer than 30 minutes for it, better even with a fastpass.

Mark H.

Yelp
Fun themed, good ride for young kids. But definitely not worth the current new ride 40+ minute plus wait times. It's a pretty basic carnival style ride skinned with a fun toy story design. Not super exciting but fun ride for the little ones.

James B.

Yelp
This is one of the 2 new rides within the new Toy Story Land area of Hollywood Studios. Guests sit in spaceship cars that are pulled around 4 circular tracks by the Pizza Planet "Oooo" Toy Story aliens. It definitely "jolts" back and forth a bit more than I was expecting, which actually made the ride a bit more fun and surprising than I was originally expecting. As soon as I thought I had figured out the back-and-forth pattern of the cars, we ended up getting spun in a different direction, which was great. It's kind of similar to the Mad Hatter's tea party ride at Magic Kingdom, but you cannot control the spinning of your own car like the tea cups. Being a new ride, the wait times can be upwards of 2 hours, which is absolutely way too long to wait (and not have available to do anything else in the park) for this 2-minute ride. If you like spinning rides, or haven't been on this ride yet and want to try it, do your best to get a fast pass. Or hope for a little rain, which will thin out all the people at the park and doesn't actually affect this ride because it runs under shelter. There aren't any interactive activities or other things to do while waiting in the long line, which can be really hard with children. I was also kind of expecting the big buttons inside the ride itself to do something, but they don't press or light up, they appear to only be decorative.
