"Aliment Cafe, West Leederville by Juicebox. This humble cafe punches well above its weight attracting a diverse array of business meetings and casual encounters. The sunshine starts to flicker through the glass walls early morning, timed perfectly for that first coffee of the day.For those that have the time, the space encourages people to sit and enjoy something from our extensive a la carté menu, whether it be breakfast, brunch or lunch. However takeaways are equally welcome and the menu includes house-baked pastries, or a quick healthy salad, gourmet rolls and filled bagels."

I had the pulled pork which was stacked on top of a hash brown. There were two poached eggs with a generous amount of rocket. The portion is rather big and I could not finish the entire plate of food. The pulled pork is delicious but the hash brown was rather greasy, more so after soaking the sauce of the pulled pork. The lady at the cashier and serving food is very helpful and cheerful!

Great coffee and plenty room inside and out for seating

Absolutely delicious and fantastic service. Was going to go another cafe and this one stood out. It was quiet, beautifully decorated and upon entering the staff were fantastic! We ordered three different breakfast dishes and all of them were absolutely delicious. My recommendation would be the crumpets with chicken, bacon and maple syrup. The coffee was really tasty and the prices very reasonable for the quantity and quality of food. Will definitely be returning thanks for a great breakfast!!!

Food was good and it's a nice setting. Made a booking though and seemed like it was a bit of a problem. Anyway turned out all was good. The service was really good. Wait staff were really attentive and visited the table regularly enough to ensure we had enough food and drink. Definitely coming back.

Google
Lobbed in at about 2.30 for a late lunch and the lovely owner gave me the last serving of beef stew that she was taking home for herself, bless her. It was seriously one of the best stews I’ve ever tasted! Their hot meals are always wonderful, I can’t recommend Aliment highly enough!

Yelp
I am not usually a big fan of having brunch @cafe..since there is discount in the entertainment book for this cafe then I'll give it a shot. This cafe was so busy.. The moment we sat until we left the place..there is always que. and believe me..all the food that we ordered today meet all our expectation. Nice.. I am one of their happy customer Definitely recommend this cafe if you want to have brunch

Yelp
A solid 4 stars. Today the Aliment team had a lot against them with the road works on Railway rd. Not only did they keep their doors open, good thing too because the place was packed out! The serious noise works would surely be getting to the staff but they kept on smiling and will continue to do so for the next few Sunday's (or so they believe) road works. So the place - well it's lovely and cosy. Great devote, like the lighting and you can't fault the landscaping around the cafe. The food - really huge portions. My husband (the hollandaise nazi) loved the consistency of his favorite dressing, one of the best he's had recently. His eggs were good and he couldn't make it through the hash brown and bacon - so much food! Me - I went for the stuffed brownie pancakes which are still on the 'specials' menu, having read a Yelp review, I was confident the pancakes needed to be eaten. Again, amazing! I had without the salted caramel ice cream, probably a good idea due to the sugar levels but the tart blueberries offset the brownie sweetness so really it worked. All up we had 4 coffees, pancakes and eggs +++ and it was $50. Don't forget to check in so you can receive the 10% off (which I did). In total, I think $25pp for 2 coffees and pancakes is really reasonable!

Yelp
I have only EXCELLENT things to say about this cafe! As soon as you walk in, you get greeted by smiling staff. I had the matcha latte, and this place beats all the matcha lattes I've tried around Perth. You can taste the actual matcha, it's creamy, smooth and silky - I'd have another one! Also the buttermilk chicken crumpets were absolutely amazing ! I requested for the crumpets to be cut into half so they won't taste so thick and floury and they did an amazing job, you can Taste the maple syrup on it and it was actually really soft! And the paprika gave that extra spice on the dish ! It was a good choice for a topping. I have nothing negative to say about this place so far. They are also on the entertainment book so u get a discount for 25% with a voucher !

Yelp
Yesterday was our third visit to Aliment, and we've never been disappointed. It's located physically very close to Hylin and Tracks, and I don't think there's a great deal of difference between them when it comes to quality. The coffee I had yesterday - a long mac, as is my usual these days - was one of the best cups I've had in quite a few weeks, which was surprising but very welcome. We were actually one our way for breakfast somewhere else when I spotted Aliment's weekend specials on Instagram, and simply had to divert for the corn bread big breakfast ($20) with bacon, chorizo, poached eggs, spicy tomato sauce, fresh citrus, herb salsa and a tempura jalapeno! I love corn bread, and this was beautifully soft and crumbly. I also love chilli but a whole jalapeno was a bit much for me, especially at breakfast time. There was also savoury crumpets ($18) on the specials menu with fresh tomato, avocado, feta, poached eggs and rockets & basil pesto - interesting. Renay chose the corn, zucchini and sweet potato fritters with smashed avocado and chimichurri ($18) from the standard menu, which was nice and fresh. The service at Aliment is always efficient and friendly, and you can probably still get a table when Hylin is already standing room only - just don't leave it too late, though. I've never managed to get there for the lemon meringue French toast special, maybe one day...

Yelp
One of the few choices in West Leederville but definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. I came here as the 'Entertainment Book' offers 25% discount and I was pleased to find the Yelp app will also offer 10% on first check-in...I'll use that on my next visit. It's frequented by office workers in the area and the staff were friendly, despite previous reviews. $42 (before the 25%) for a big breakfast & cappuccino, toast with scrambled eggs and a yummy smoothly. Heaps of gluten free options and take-away items available.

Yelp
This busy little cafe in a fairly non descript office block was packed but luckily we had booked and whilst our table may have been tucked away in a corner it was just by the pass so we got to see the good before we ordered. Unfortunately it all looked as good as it read on the menu so it didn't help us decide. We settled for the crumpets and buttermilk chicken, pulled pork hash brown hollandaise and an d avocado smash on toast resisting the lure of lemon meringue French toast. I appreciated that several of the options came in large and small portions because whilst the avo smash with feta, fresh tomato, and a perfectly poached egg was delicious the full sized portion is very generous. I loved my green juice but my long macchiato tasted slightly burnt. I was disappointed with the service, we sat for a long time before anyone came and offered us a coffee and when the drinks cane they were rather plonked on the table. There was also some difficulty in using more than one entertainment card which was annoying. That said it was a very busy Saturday morning so perhaps abrupt service can be forgiven

Yelp
Yum. Fried chicken with bacon and maple on homemade crumpets? Ah...yes please. Little cafe at the bottom of the WA Local Govt Building which has some delicious homemade treats, sweet and savoury. Try the brownie-stuffed pancakes or just go traditional with eggs on toast. I've been back here several times and still want to return to try more delicious items off the menu. Service can be a bit lacking sometimes, and the roadworks right out the front aren't doing them any favours, but these won't be going on forever. Give this place a try

Yelp
Went here for brunch this morning. Party of 4. Service was incredibly bad: slow and incompetitent. Very disappointed. Big and little things. No cutlery. No sugar. Forgotten orders. We had to get up from the table 7-8 times. The food was delicious though. Probably what keeps people coming back. The place was very busy and understaffed. The coffee was nothing special, but the manager gave it to us free for our troubles. I had a simple muesli. Yes, I'm trying to be good. My date had porridge, which she says was not hot (Goldie Locks); friends had the bruschetta, which they raved about. All at the table agreed the service was bad, and it wasn't their first time at the venue. The atmosphere is nice, to get out of the Perth autumn weather. Tough to find a parking spot, especially with the construction up the street. I really dont like negative reviews, and try to find the positive... but you have to lift your game guys. I doubt I'll be back.

Yelp
One of my new favourite breakfast venues! My partner and I came here and were very impressed. My partner ordered the buttermilk fried chicken crumpets with a paprika poached eggs. I ordered the Brownie filled pancakes with salted caramel Icecream. My boyfriends dish was amazing, the chicken literally melted in your mouth, it was like nothing I've ever tasted before. He said his iced chocolate was one of the best he's had and he orders them a lot. My breakfast was good but a bit too rich for my liking, I mainly ordered this dish because I knew it would be presented well haha. My coffee was good nothing too special. The vibe and service of this place is great, it's really nice out the back in the garden as well. #goodfoodofperth

Yelp
Amazing crumpets and fried chicken! I usually pass on the egg, I mean bacon, crumpets, fried chicken and an egg? That's just over doing it! ; ) Aliment is also one of the special breed of cafes that are capable of making a LARGE long Macchiato, it's a simple thing but seems beyond the realm of possibility for many cafes in Perth. Here's a hint, make 2 and put them in a large cup\mug! So, well done Aliment and it was a great coffee. Aliment does seem to fill up with large groups of loud sporty types but they can hardly be blamed for that. Although I could hear Joe Boxer's recital of his latest sporting prowess clearer than my partner sat at our table the food and coffee definitely makes it worth while. I don't think they take bookings which makes getting a table a bit hit and miss sometimes, but I understand why they don't want tables sitting idle 'reserved'.

Yelp
Ailment is tucked away in west Leederville, although closer to Leederville station. Been here twice now and the first time was heaven on earth. The buttermilk fried chicken was like nothing id had before. The last time we went Izzy wanted the chicken so I settled for the pulled potk and hash brown which was.. Good. It wasn't special. But it was nice and filling. Just didn't have as much flavour as I wanted and the pork a tad dry.

Yelp
Inventive menu that's been well executed every visit I've had. Highly recommend the porridge and the corn fritters.

Yelp
Whilst I've not yet tried the brekky or lunch menu, the raspberry brownie I devoured is worth it's own review! Popped by for a coffee recently after visiting another brunch spot near by and couldn't help but order a sweet treat post prior brunch. Warmed up the glutenous brownie oozed chocolate goodness whilst tart raspberry balanced the sweetness. The coffee was also on point although it took a very long time to make (and the cafe wasn't busy). I'll be back for brekky.

Yelp
Good food and good service but nothing to rave about at this point. Each dish had strong and weak points, staff were fine, couldn't complain. The wait was fine, your standard 10 or so minutes. Coffee was nice. I was sad two of the four brunch specials were unavailable and staff couldn't say why even though we came early. My fritters were too dry and crispy but were very generous (especially the salmon) and perfectly cooked eggs. The house made crumpets were yeasty tasting and needed to prove properly but were covered in lots of hot and fresh chicken with delicious maple bacon. I'd try it again!

Yelp
This place is fast becoming my go to breakfast spot, being situated in a building that is a little hidden away in comparison to Mary St and Hylin along the same road, this place always has tables available and they are constantly changing up their brunch menu meaning each visit brings a new amazing surprise. Have never had a bad meal here and always leave impressed with the fresh produce that goes into every single meal. Definitely worth a visit!!

Yelp
Ok, I had high expectations but they were quickly let down. Firstly it's hugely inappropriate to have Triple J booming outside. You're staff might like listening to it but it's not suitable for the wide range of customers out side eg parents and their kids plus the office workers from upstairs. It's a cafe so get some light cafe music. Secondly, when you serve drinks 7 minutes apart, it's an indication of poor time management especially when it's for just two people. Thirdly, my biggest gripe, customer service. Arrogant and short. This was the major issue and the reason why I won't be coming back. You are in between two other amazing cafes, Hylin and Tracks, and you need to stand out from the rest! At the moment you're standing out for all the wrong reasons! I'll be back in a month, let's see if you can improve!

Yelp
Amazing! A bit tricky to find the door, but once in, it was good times. A great menu, with delicious options. Customer service was very good. Food was fabulous and large serve for very reasonable price. Definitely try this place! Breakfast was delectable.

Yelp
Ducked down for lunch here with a friend. Had a beautiful chicken dish I can't remember what was with it but I do remember that it was delicious and that I polished it off! The food here is delicious and have lots to choose from on the menu and in the display cabinet. Coffee is good but sometimes can be hit and miss depending on the person making it, mainly pretty good. Will need to explore their food options more as their menu sounds amazing they also do catering for our office which has nice choice for that lunch meeting or morning tea. There are quite a few tables and chairs inside and they also have nice outdoor seating too to enjoy the lovely Perth weather. Next time I'll take photos! Do try this cafe out they are also open on Saturday for brunch :)

Yelp
The pumpkin dumplings with poached eggs and bacon was lovely! Good flavours and servings sizes are decent! Service is slow, coffees arrived after our food. The cafe is small, tables were very close to other diners, toilets are located are in the building next door. Overall pretty average.

Yelp
Started off well, booking was received, table was ready, menu looked solid. Friends arrived and we waited about 45 minutes before asking if someone could take our order. Took another 10 minutes for someone to come back. Food took about another hour so ate breakfast just before lunch time. Food was good but service was so shit!! Probs give it a miss next time.
