Google
A fantastic delicatessen in Florence! The selection of meats and cheeses was outstanding, and the extra virgin olive oil was absolutely delicious – rich, fresh, and full of flavor. A wonderful spot to taste authentic Tuscan products, with friendly service to match.

Google
Perfection. Meat, cheese, olives, wine. Family owned unique stop, worth taking the time to find it and enjoy. Leave a little sticky note, they don't have many 🤣😉🇮🇹 thank you Allesandro and your lovely daughter Eleonora for such a unique experience.

Cash Only - Had a wonderful lunch here. The family running the shop are so kind and engaging. We shared a meat and cheese board that was so delicious. Loved the Chianti wine that also came with it. They offered us their focaccia too. We ended with biscotti dipped in wine for dessert. It was so good and I’m so glad we stopped by.

What a wonderful experience, the whole charcuterie platter is from their own farm . Amazing taste and the way they take pride in their food is just amazing . Highly recommend recommended place Good luck

Google
On a recommendation from a friend who had visited Alimentari Uffizi, I went without hesitation and was not disappointed. Alimentari Uffizi is the gastronomical highlight of my 2-week tour of Italy. I can honestly say that I was treated like family the moment I walked into the shop and made to feel as if I was the most important person in the world to them. The food is beyond comparison and the atmosphere is second to none. Why Alimentari Uffizi is not the most famous place in Firenze to visit and eat, I will not understand, but I can say that it will forever be the highlight of my time in Firenze, if not in all of Italy. Thank you so much for being the best part of my Italian adventure. Much love and respect from Canada! <3

Google
Went as part of a food tour of Firenze. Small family run business for generations. Fresh, quality meats and products from their local farm. Some of the best meats I have tasted.

Google
Such a great place, great food and awesome people! Our best experience in Florence!

Google
This is a magical and atmospheric place, owned by a family for generations. The host is very pleasant and kind, with immense love, he talked about the farm and his children and spent time with us. It's the best impression I took away from Florence. The meat and food were simply delightful. Highly recommend! No card payments accepted.

Yelp
A hidden gem in Firenze. A quaint meat and cheese shop, offering small bites and sandwiches. Alessandro the owner was so kind and welcoming. He recommended a meat and cheese board with some vino that was absolutely divine. I don't think I've ever had such a delicious and fresh off the bone charcuterie as I did today. He sat with us while we snacked sharing with us his family history and 3 generations of business, since 1924. Such a kind soul. I hope his business lasts lifetimes more. It truly is such a special place. Can't wait to get back. Highly recommend. No crowds either.

Yelp
My daughter and I stumbled on this place while roaming the streets of Florence. We were looking for a place a little off the beaten path. This is a family run business. Everything is sourced and produced locally. The owner and his best friend who work there were so friendly. There isn't a lot of eating, but we were not rushed - they encouraged us to stay longer. They spoke about the family, the family farm, the history of the place...it was a beautifully Italian experience and we hope to make it back there soon. The menu isn't large, but it was perfect! Every bite was a delight!

Yelp
One of my absolute favorite meals I had while in Italy. Not as well known, as another reviewer mentioned, definitely a hidden gem. One I'm so glad my group and I stumbled upon. The family/staff that owns the market and restaurant was so sweet. We stopped by for a lunch and ordered anything they recommended. They were extremely attentive and wanted us to have the best experience. We had the Ribollita and their charcuterie board for 2. It was such a treat! I've never had Ribollita before then, but it tasted so fresh and homey. It was as if a family had invited you to their home for a meal. The eating space is a tiny, so if you find an open table definitely try to grab a bite there! The walls are also littered with post it notes from customers who have had the pleasure of eating there. Such a great eatery!

Yelp
Beautiful little family-owned grocery! They were so kind and the food (bread, salami, cheese) is delicious.

Yelp
We traveled throughout Italy in 2019 and saw many beautiful sites but this little café remains our most special memory of the trip. The owner was exceptionally kind and the food/drink was delightful. We recall our experience there often. If we return to Florence, revisiting this café will be a requirement.

Yelp
Several years ago, my spouse and I took the train to Florence on impulse and came upon this place by simple luck. On an adventure that was filled with pleasant surprises, this place was in its quiet way the most gratifying. The kind things others have said about the owner and his food are true. Go there, you'll love it.

Yelp
Have stayed here all day. A slice of peace and quiet steps away from the chaos of a busy day. Perfect stop, friendly people, delicious food and excellent wine. Best part of our vacation by far. I wish the owners the best and look forward to coming back one day. Meat and cheese plate was unbelievably delicious. And the bread and oil were perfect. Thank you!

Yelp
We are visiting Florence on our honeymoon. Walked by here and made a note to stop by the next day. I am so glad this is the last place we ate. Everything else would've been just a huge disappointment the rest of the trip had we stopped here first! This family is doing what they love and it shows! We asked them to make us a few sandwiches to go to have for dinner at our apartment. We then found our Panini press and it was all over.We are headed back to have our last meal there today before we head back to the states. Thank you for sharing your passion with everyone

Yelp
Oh my gosh, this place. Great place for a snack and to rest your feet after a day of exploring Florence. We absolutely loved Alimentari Uffizi. We asked for their cheese board for one and it was plenty enough for two people! The cheeses! The meats! The bread! The olive oil! Absolutely delicious and cannot recommend it enough! The best dang cheese and charcuterie board we've ever had in our lives!

Nicolette G.

Yelp
If you're in the area I highly recommend stopping at this deli! The salami was the best I have ever tasted! They gave us fresh tomatoes from their garden. Everything was AMAZING! The owners were so friendly and took the time to talk to us about their deli and their sons farm. I will be back!

Yelp
Honestly the best place I've eaten in Italy so far. Best place to stop by if you're up for the best cured meats and cheese plates in the country! The interior is so inviting and intimate, and the owner is extremely sweet. He was so kind to us and explained everything to us even though we were tourists. It's owned by his family and everything is from the animals in his farm. The cheese and meat plates were amazing - so fresh - and paired with wine - delicious! Plus bread dipped in his olive oil was divine. I cannot go back to regular salami and cheese after this experience! Opposite of Osteria de Memo quality (refer to review of Osteria in Rome)!

Yelp
The only place we stopped into twice while we were in Europe. Fantastic meat shop right next to the Uffizi. Alessandro, the owner, was so friendly and clearly loves what he does. The charcuterie board was one of the best. This place is cash only.

Yelp
The best Tuscan meats ever!! A great place to stop and have a glass of wine and some meats.

Yelp
Great spot for lunch. All the cold cuts, cheeses and produce were super fresh and DELICIOUS! Owner was very nice and a real artisan. Highly recommend this place when you want a quick and delicious lunch between museums and shopping. P.s. Had a cup of the Red wine and it went very well with lunch

Bryan R.

Yelp
Service was great. All the meats and cheeses were amazing. We had a sample of everything on a platter for four people and then ordered more mozzarella and mortadella. The rose and chianti were great on tap.

Yelp
This was the best cured meats I've ever had, and we enjoyed talking with the owner about his son's farm where they raise the pigs. So good.

Bill M.

Yelp
A marvelous place to sit with the lady after hoofing it around town. Owners are wonderful, attentive, yet not intrusive. The antipasto plate was amazing - a veritable smorgasbord of culinary delights. If I lived here, I would have lunch here every week.

Yelp
The owner was very nice. The cured meats were excellent. Very small place but nice ambiance and very cozy.

Yelp
Best place we have been to in florence. Not like a butcher shop in US, very cozy and friendly. Can sit down and have a bottle of wine with a platter of meat and cheese. Owner took time to explain the types of meat and cheese and just chat. Really amazing place and worth a visit for a snack and drink to unwind after long day of touring.

Eric S.

Yelp
Place is amazing. Definition of, "hole in the wall" type of establishment. The owner was so nice and took the type to explain everything to us. We had a nice platter with assortment of cheeses and meats. I asked him to give me a sandwich with whatever he wants, his best recommendation, and it was phenomenal! Worth your time to make a pit stop for a snack or lunch. Such a charming little family owned spot.

Yelp
Please I beg of you to not go here, we want it all for ourselves. Our son had said it was the best panini place he had ever eaten. We didn't have a chance to go our first two days in Florence but made it there on day 3 for lunch. We decided on the meat cheese platter for 2. IT WAS TO DIE FOR! The beer & house red wine were a perfect match. The food was so outstanding we had to go back the next day and if our time in Florence had not ended we would have gone every day since! The owner and his son were a delight, the store is adorable and the food & drink amazing. We cannot wait to return to Italy and Alimentari Uffizi.

Yelp
Talk about fresh! We walked by and because my husband is a big fan of mortadella we made a mental note to check it out the following day. The service was great and not pushy at all. We ordered sandwiches on focaccia. Him mortadella with mozzarella, and me salami with some cheese he recommended. Fresh and delicious. Not the gross, stale, tourist stuff. Would definitely return! Very nice guy behind the counter as well.

Yelp
Great sandwich. Good for eat in or takeaway!! Don't miss this little place! Our whole family enjoyed it!!!

William O.

Yelp
What a wonderful treat. Local family and farmers providing delicious food in an intimate setting. No fancy frills, just good service and food. Probably can seat 12 people at rustic tables but you will not be disappointed. We had the 5 salami platter which included the meats, tomatoes, cheeses, olives and bread. Yummy,

Fran H.

Yelp
Great little deli/cheese store. Had a large selection of salame, links of cured meat and cheeses. The owner happily let us try anything we wanted before buying it. He also vacuum packed it all for us to travel with. Even the cheese which was a room temp. He also has some wines and deli style dishes (olives, marinated artichoke hearts, etc). Small area for seating if you stay for a plate of meat/cheese and wine. But very friendly and offers true regional food.

Troy H.

Yelp
Awesome - small family run shop - 3rd generation - had an amazing antipasto -,meats, cheeses, breads and homemade Sangiovese. Service was excellent.

Justin F.

Yelp
Don't fret the plastic wine cups because the Italian meat and cheese platter is second to none. Quaint whole in the wall but worth the visit. Bravo.

Yelper J.

Yelp
This is absolutely the best place I stumbled upon while in Florence. The prosciutto was phenomenal- unlike any I've ever had before. Will be stopping there again before I leave town!

Richard G.

Yelp
Best lunch we have had in italy. This is technally a grocery/deli, but there are a few tables and an awesome place to eat. We ordered a plate for two and got a mix of salami/meats, cheeses, artichokes, bread, olives and other similar items. Everything sliced fresh when ordered. Most of the food comes from his son's local farm. The wine he offers is also local. Very friendly service. I can't suggest this place enough for lunch. Also offers some fresh fruit if that is what you want.

Michelle L.

Yelp
Exactly what we were looking for before we even knew it. Visiting Italy for our anniversary and stumbled upon the little nook while meandering through the streets of Florence. Sat at the Lover's Balcony for a lovely break with local wine and a cheese platter, complete with fresh tomatoes and focaccia. Loved the friendly owner and atmosphere, and purchased a bottle of olive oil from his son's farm to bring back home.
