Alimos Marina

Beautiful and spacious marina, very well organized and easy to navigate. Quiet at night, which made for a peaceful stay. Great spot to start a sailing trip from Athens!

It’s a very beautiful port, what I like most of all is that there are many paths to walk. You can take nice pics there. It’s calm and peaceful there, I like to come and enjoy this port beauty.

2025: toilets still without paper. Good public transport from the airport. Bus costs 5,5 EUR (you can buy ticket in vending machine or use your credit card as a ticket). Very nice Beach nearby, some shops, restaurants, pharmacy. The place is not luxury marina, but still has advantages - good transport, minimal infrastructure.

Alimos Marina is one of the largest marinas in the Athens area and serves primarily as a base for yacht charters. Overall, the marina is spacious, clean, and relatively well-organized, making it convenient for both charter companies and visitors preparing for their sailing trips. If you’re picking up or dropping off a yacht, it serves its basic function well. However, there are some important things to note. While there is one restaurant inside the marina, it is quite expensive, clearly capitalizing on its location as the only dining option within the premises. Outside the marina, there are more restaurants and shops, but the walking access to them isn’t ideal. In order to reach them, you’ll have to walk part of the way on the road, which can feel a bit unsafe and uncomfortable, especially with luggage or in hot weather. The biggest downside of Alimos Marina is the condition of the facilities. The showers and toilets are probably the least maintained I’ve come across in all the marinas I’ve visited. The water in the showers is cold , not just lukewarm, but truly cold, and there’s no toilet paper in the restrooms. The whole setup feels outdated, like stepping back into the 1980s, which is disappointing for such a busy and frequently used marina. In summary, Alimos Marina does the job when it comes to logistics, but don’t expect comfort or modern amenities. It’s fine for a quick turnaround before or after your charter, but far from luxurious.

We were disappointed with the marina. Toilets are closed after 23:00, shower has no warm water. Toilets without papers. No laundry and a chaotic mooring on Friday when all the charter boats are returning. No pier numbers when entering the marina on boat! A lot of things to be improved! Please hear us!

My camper car was parked near pier 4K for a week during my sailing time. Unfortunately thief broke my camper window and stole personal belongings. The private guards didn’t do anything and told me few other cars were opened too. The marina protection is unreliable.

Had a takeaway banh mi and Vietnamese coffee - both amazingly delicious! Thank you! Wasn’t cheap but nothing was on my short stay in Zurich - so I guess it was normal :) the staff was also very friendly and I would come here again if I’d happen to be visiting again.

This huge marina needs a better management, it is overcrowded, beat dirty, has the roads and ways in bad shape. No facilities for guests for transporting the luggages, no place for waiting untill the boat' check in is ready, and only one monopolistic restaurant expansive and modest in offer. Also no shop for sailing activities is available in Alimos.
