Alimos Marina

Alimos Marina is a large and well-organized marina with easy access, making it a perfect starting point for sailing trips to the beautiful Saronic Islands. The only downside is the limited variety of cafés and restaurants right by the marina — there aren’t many options for dining or having a drink nearby.

It’s clean, spacious, and well organized, offering a wide variety of yacht rentals, from small sailing boats to luxury catamarans and more.. Its excellent location near Athens makes it a perfect starting point for exploring the Saronic Islands (Aegina, Poros, Hydra, etc.) However, the marina can get quite crowded during holidays and peak season

The marina is fine but really needs improvements and more entertainment around. Since it went private, prices have gone up a lot and it has become very expensive to park the boats, without a clear reason. Facilities are basic compared to the cost, and it feels like they could do much more to make the place nicer and more welcoming.

It’s a very beautiful port, what I like most of all is that there are many paths to walk. You can take nice pics there. It’s calm and peaceful there, I like to come and enjoy this port beauty.

Alimos Marina is one of the largest marinas in the Athens area and serves primarily as a base for yacht charters. Overall, the marina is spacious, clean, and relatively well-organized, making it convenient for both charter companies and visitors preparing for their sailing trips. If you’re picking up or dropping off a yacht, it serves its basic function well. However, there are some important things to note. While there is one restaurant inside the marina, it is quite expensive, clearly capitalizing on its location as the only dining option within the premises. Outside the marina, there are more restaurants and shops, but the walking access to them isn’t ideal. In order to reach them, you’ll have to walk part of the way on the road, which can feel a bit unsafe and uncomfortable, especially with luggage or in hot weather. The biggest downside of Alimos Marina is the condition of the facilities. The showers and toilets are probably the least maintained I’ve come across in all the marinas I’ve visited. The water in the showers is cold , not just lukewarm, but truly cold, and there’s no toilet paper in the restrooms. The whole setup feels outdated, like stepping back into the 1980s, which is disappointing for such a busy and frequently used marina. In summary, Alimos Marina does the job when it comes to logistics, but don’t expect comfort or modern amenities. It’s fine for a quick turnaround before or after your charter, but far from luxurious.

Very bad experience at this Marina that seems like it runs by Mafia. No trolly to be found anywhere. You have to stop on the side of the road and carry your goods by hand to your boat! Very stressful experience. They encourage you to shop onlne which is around 20% more expensive. Luggage storage closes at 4pm! No hot water in the showers, no toilet papers. We requested if 2 boats can dock next to each other and they said no chance. We understand it's not always possible but in many other ports we requested this in advance and it was fine. make sure you figure out how to get your shoppings to your boat if you are not shopping online. It's also chaotic on Saturdays and everyone walking with their luggages on streets. I'd avoid this port in future if I can

Huge marina. Nothing special. Overpriced taverna. Nowhere to leave bags if you arrive early and shower and toilet blocks were apparently quite disgusting on Saturday morning. But all good if you have your own boat to sit on. Free water which is not too brackish

Beautiful Harbour on Athene cost. You can rent touristic boat trips as from 90 euro for 5 hours. Food, snacks and drinks included and two stops to snorkel and swim. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and speak English. Sure worth booking.
