Aling Taleng's Halo-Halo

My partner and I stopped here for a late lunch after visiting the Pagsanjan Falls during a day trip from Manila. The lechon kawali was the clear highlight: perfectly crispy skin, tender meat, a well-balanced sweet-and-sour sauce, and fresh herbs on the side adding a pleasant bitter contrast. A very satisfying dish overall. The fried chicken was also excellent — crunchy on the outside, yet juicy and tender inside. We also ordered chicharrón, admittedly expecting a more Latin-style version, which was our own misunderstanding. Overall, a solid and enjoyable meal — definitely a good lunch stop if you’re visiting Pagsanjan Falls.

Came here with my family to try their halo-halo. Their servings are pretty generous and the prices are resonable. Their halo-halo were very good. The ingredients were not overcrowded and its not too sweet. Overall, its a refreshing dessert.

My 3rd time to dine here and always good food and great service. Place is always clean and cozy. Spacious parking behind the restaurant. Halo halo is always good!

When you’re in Pagsanjan, make sure to stop by. Food is really good. As someone who has low tolerance on salty food, their cooking is perfectly seasoned! We ordered pork binagoongan, sinigang na pompano, and pancit canton-bihon. It’s so easy to make the pancit salty, I’m so happy that it’s not. We had halo-halo for dessert and it really tastes good. Nothing beats the classic. One order can be shared by 2 people I believe. But since it’s so good, you can just order for 1. 😁 P.S. They have their own parking slot at the back. Someone will ask if you’re going to Aling Taleng’s and they will guide you to it.

Good food. Affordable price. Nice location. I love their all-day breakfast, the garlic rice is heavenly! However, I did not like the Bibingka. It could be an old stock, because the texture is dry and it wasn't served hot. Overall, the famous Halo-Halo is the best!

Good. Got there during lean times. We got our street parking right away. We only ordered a four cheese pizza and two halo halos. It's fine. Service was great for that one server. The others are just laughing on the side. It's fine.

I’ve been here for about 2 years, and it’s still the same place I remember. There might have been some price changes on the menu, but what I like about the place is the vibe and atmosphere—cozy, calm, and clean. We placed our food order, and it took 20 minutes to be served. The food prices are decent; our bill was 1800 pesos. There isn’t much parking, but they do have another place near the original Aling Taleng’s. It closes at 4 pm, and then the extension would be at “Garage 88” after that time. I Included the menu so you guys have an idea

We reached Pagsanjan by lunchtime and we decided to use Google to search for a place to dine. Aling Taleng's is one of the recommended restaurants. The food we ordered were good. We also tried their famous halo- halo. It was unique but not that great. Note: This restaurant can also arrange your boat ride to see Pagsanjan Falls.

We went to the restaurant after our Pagsanjan Falls adventure. Arrived around 2 pm and the place was still busy. They opened a new area quickly got seated. They have plenty of parking behind the restaurant. We ordered Binagoongan (shrimp paste) lechon kawali (pork belly), crispy fried bangus and tortang patola. The lechon kawali was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Never thought shrimp paste would go well with it but it does. Bangus was well marinated and tasty. Crispy on the outside. Tortang patola was ok. I've typically had it as eggplant rather than patola. Still prefer eggplant version. Last but not least it's least was their Halo Halo. This is what they are known for. It is different from other Halo Halo I've had before. They included sweet potato and milk was fresh. I can see why it's popular. Highly recommend to try and a great way to end the meal. Staff was friendly. Place is rustic as it' is part of an old house.

Highly recommend the halo halo here! If you are nearby I would definitely recommend this as a place to relax and hang out for some snacks!

Located on a busy street corner (or actually, all streets are busy in the Philippines). We came here on a Saturday afternoon after rafting the falls and we were lucky to have gotten a table. We cramped into a medium sized table and only ordered their halo-halo and puto bungbong. I can rate only these two items as we passed by this place randomly but I know they serve more desserts and meal dishes. We didn't get a menu since we only wanted their famous Halo-halo. They have more goodies to buy at the counter, too. I believe everything is cash only as many small Filipino stores here. The halo-halo is a pretty good size but it lacked sugar. There are different ingredients than what I am used to in the states. I guess because, we lack the fresh fruits here. The Puto bungbong was good as this is freshly made in their outside kitchen? The set-up is weird here. They use real sugar instead of the granulated sugar. Everything here is fresh ingredients versus comes from the box. They lacked staff as service was slow. The wifi passcode is on the table for you to use. There is wifi but with so many people here, you won't get in as they have limited service. If I ever pass by their other sister stores, I would come back to try their other food since crowds show this place is popular.

Feeling the heat of summer! Well aling taleng's offer the best cooling refreshments in town, The Special Halo-Halo, the flavors and the ingredients are some of the basics and more on home made that are not usual in halo halo. Thumbs up for it so delightful!
