What a fabulous place, like a treasure trove. Karen was the best staff member, open,friendly and cheerful. Plus super helpful.

Warm vibe, nice decoration. There are some people to visit on weekends.

We came across Alison Lester’s gallery and store by chance while driving through the quaint little town of Fish Creek on our way to Yanakie. Wow 🤩 what a treat for the eyes. The store is filled with her books and fabulous artwork and I loved her studio and learning about her. I read her books to my children when they were young, which was many years ago. Visiting the store brought back very special memories of reading with my children and losing ourselves in her wonderful stories and illustrations. I would highly recommend a visit to Alison’s gallery and store. It’s a very special place.

Magical little shop with lots to see for book lovers. The postcards and cards are a lovely way to take home some of the art.

More than a gallery, more than a shop, actual planning art, story boards for books and awards decorate her Gallery. The staff are helpful and you are able to leave purchases for signing and posting.

I love this place! I'm on vacation in Australia and came across a book by Aliston on my journey—it instantly gave me that special Australian feeling. Now, visiting the gallery, I felt it again. What a wonderful place! I was lucky to buy a signed book, beautiful bookmarks, and cards to take some of this magic home. If I could, I would rate the place with more than 5 Stars. 🤩 Does Aliston sometimes work at the counter?

The Alison Lester bookshop was a great little store that really captivated what the books stand for. The staff was very helpful when picking out a book giving out some great recommendations and giving a bit of information about each book. The store is all around a great spot to go to buy a book and explore new stories.
