Wow, what an amazing place! The surf camp has it all - great location, entertainment, and the best surf instructors who are so friendly and qualified. The staff, from housekeeping to the front office to the restaurant, are incredibly courteous. It feels more like a hotel with all the amenities they provide - hot water, towels, AC, TV, balcony with amazing views, and spacious rooms. The food is delicious and the portions are generous, especially at breakfast. I originally had a booking elsewhere but decided to give Aliya a try on a whim, and I ended up staying for 8 nights and have already booked my next trip. It's also a very safe place to stay, with the owners being very hands-on and making sure guests feel well taken cared off. Their Bulalo soup was a daily order and we couldn't get enough of it! We also loved their Tocino, Taoa, Pizza and appetizers.

Great place for beach getaway. Has swimming pool, large pavilion for cooking and parties, cabins are well kept with two queen beds and regular rooms are available, back up generator and star link , can camp also .

Aliya Surf Resort is a good hotel because of its great location - In front of the beach. Provide conplimentary breakfast and you can bring your water bottles for a refill. There is a resto inside. Plus nightly music in the bar. They can coordinate for you should you want to go surfing or ATV rentals. My family enjoyed our stay in Baler, Aurora!

By Western standards at best 2* Positives Lovely location - but you can get the same for the same price in SE Asia to a much higher standard for a lower price! Negatives Small cramped rooms. Classic Filipino issue of trying to fit as many people in to a roosting room for as little expenditure as possible Nothing really work to the value of US$90 per night for a very basic room Reliable hot water - No Daily room service - No $90 a night bedding and bed standards by international standards - NoNo Quiet peaceful soundproofed rooms -NoNoNo Like most provincial Philippines hotels over priced Lucky to get a 3. But as good as you get in the provinces in The Philippines

Great food spot. Didn't stay here but I went here for surfing lessons and the coaches are very friendly and professional. The boards themselves were decent. They even had a photographer posted up on one day there so I got some nice photos as well. Quite a good time here

The view from my room is awesome , yes. But the aircon is not working at all. the lighting inside the room needs improvement… the public places is a bit crowded for me and NOT relaxing at all… overall, it’s just ok .. after all, my host is paying for my stay…

Didn’t stay but ate a meal and visited the place. Overall service would be passable and lots of flies around the area. The hotel appears nice and is right on the beach. Was very crowded when we visited. Comfortable though and think it would be ok if you want some noise and lively activity

Rooms are good. Staff are friendly and attentive. Live band and acoustic entertainment at the bar in the evenings. Prices are somewhat ok. Internet is not stable, which is expected. Our issue: our bathroom shower's hot water. The water pressure was too weak to run the water heater.
