Alka guest house & restaurant

This is a beautiful, peaceful and very clean place to stay. It is run by a family and you feel looked after and welcomed into their Guest House. It has a courtyard garden and roof terrace. Rooms are available with en-suit bathrooms and cheaper rooms do not so you have the choice. There was no little table in my room but once I asked they got me a little table for the room. There are tables and nice chairs outside on the veranda. Raj made us delicious food when we did not want to go out. Nothing was too much trouble, I only had to ask and they were very helpful. I have had a wonderful stay and I will definitely stay next time I am in Puskar. I highly recommend and it is ideally situated right by the Ghats.

From January to Febuary 2025 I stayed in Alka guest house in PUSHKAR directly at the holy lake , near Brahma main gate . I loved to stay in my very clean nice room with a cosy bed , view to the lake and own bathroom. 24 hours hot water. I got delicious food in the hotel restaurant. By entering Alka guest house you get a paradise feeling. Old big trees are growing in the courtyard, getting much attention and love by the owners and the tourists too !! It was very difficult for me to leave this peaceful place ! Priya

A wonderful and quiet place to stay in Pushkar. The rooms are very clean, the staff/family are so helpful, the garden is lovely and the food is delicious. The guesthouse is located in the market area with amazing views of the lake and city. Sit on the rooftop to watch the sunrise and sunset over the sacred lake. Highly recommended for a long or short stay.

Alka guest house was a pleasant find. It is conveniently located near the ghats and Brahma temple. The palm tree in their verandah was visible from outside and brought us in on one of our walks. The room was simple and clean with hot water facility. It had the most serene view of the lake. Even the terrace is available. It overlooks the lake. Thoughtfully folding tables are made available to hold your cups and books if you so desire to spend time on the terrace. We mostly danced up there. Our stay was very peaceful at Alka. The owner Raj was very helpful and polite. I hope to stay here everytime I come to Pushkar.

Alka guest house is a special peacefull place to enjoy the holy vibes of Pushkar. Situated on top of the brahma gat and very close to the Brahma temple, it is filled with spiritual energy. The people working there are very kind and always open to help and satisfy all the needs and requests of the guests. Food was delicious and the bed comfortable. There are many plants and trees in the middle of the guest house which makes it a small green angle in the city. The view from the rooftop is beautiful and perfect to enjoy magical sunset and sunsrise

This is one of the best locations in Pushkar.. right on the lake yet within a quiet family setting old smaller dharamsalla which has been recently renovated to high comfort standards. The family/staff are very accessible and friendly.

The atmosphere and location of this place is the best in Pushkar, there is nothing better than this. The owner of the hotel is one of the best person. I would love to come here again and stay for longer periods than before.
