Alkyoni Rooms-Restaurant

To be honest, this is my 5th time staying in Alkyoni and I must say, each time warms my heart more than the other and I don’t know how they manage to surprise me with their hospitality and incredible energy every time! I stayed summer and winter there, and both experiences were greaaat :) The rooms are super comfortable, have everything you might need! You can tell there has been thought into the small details into making the rooms cozy. The beds are comfortable (and I stayed in different rooms each time). Good water pressure in the shower and hot water at all times! The team working there is amazing, sooo generous and looked after me and made sure I’m comfortable (and btw I’m not an easy customer and I’m not easily satisfied 🙈) The restaurant is the cherry on top of it all! The food is delicious, healthy and fresh.. be rest assured if you don’t know what you want to eat, the team will give you the best recommendations (and they are patient)! The owner has great taste in the music he choses to play. Then the best part ; THE VIEW 😳 I will leave it for the pictures to say it Honestly I can’t recommend it enough.. it’s the best place to stay in Agistri and the best restaurant to have breakfast, lunch and dinner.. anddd drinks 😜

We came twice to the restaurant and we would definitely come back if we had more time on the island. The atmosphere is awesome, thanks to the laidback & super pro staff. Food is very tasty, traditional with something extra, tasty dessert too !. And of course the view !

5/5 — Best Place on the Island! We absolutely loved this restaurant — it has everything you could want. The food was fresh and delicious. You can tell they use quality ingredients and care about what they serve. There’s also a small bar with great drinks. The service was excellent — friendly and helpful. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming. The atmosphere is beautiful and calm, with nice music playing in the background. The view is stunning — perfect for watching the sunset while you eat. It’s also pet-friendly! This place has everything — great food, great views, great vibes. Definitely the best spot on the island. Don’t miss it!

We visited the restaurant for breakfast a few times and dinner. It’s laid back, hip (can I say that, maybe for Agistri) and has beautiful views of the ocean back to Aegina. The food is super fresh, coffee was strong and had a decent wine list. We had scrambled eggs, zesty fruit salad (I loved this) and for dinner, ceviche with vegetable salads dressed with a lot of olive oil. Make a reservation for dinner. Definitely worth a visit to this Taverna up from Skala beach.

I can’t recommend this heavenly place more highly - run by beautiful people who take brilliant care of you at every turn. The food and drink are delicious, the location is stunning (amazing views, great access to the sea), and the rooms are super comfortable. But it is the vibe at Alkyoni that really sets it apart - this is difficult to put into words but basically you feel extremely well, happy and in touch with the very best parts of humanity whilst you’re there. I left feeling inspired and invigorated!

I have been to the Alkyoni restaurant a couple of times and I always come here if I am staying on Agistri Island. The food is great: Greek, but with a bit of a different touch, sometimes inspired by Turkish cuisine. I have always liked the venue, which also has a bit of an oriental flair. The view of the sea is spectacular. I do recommend Alkyoni restaurant to people I meet and so far they have always liked the experience.

This review is for the restaurant. Apart from turning from a nice local tavern to a pretentious tourist cashgrab, when we ordered the greens (which cost 7€ by the way), they were served with "tomato tartare" which was just sliced tomato trying to trick tourists into buying something fancy. We decided to buy them just to see what it was, and they were extremely dry. When we asked for extra olive oil, they said it comes in a small bottle and is charged extra, which is completely insane even for the best of restaurants, let alone this tourist trap. Avoid it until they rebrand to something worth spending your money on.

Can’t recommend this spot enough! Gorgeous view, exceptional food and really lovely service. We had a deliciously long lunch here and didn’t wanna leave. No notes!!!!!
