All Mex'd Up Taco Shop

For my last day in Port Alberni I thought I'd have lunch at the Quay. Although I was originally heading to a different establishment, "All Mex'd Up" caught my eye and I changed my plans. It's a small little shop with some outdoor seating available too. I had the enchiladas made with beans (vegetarian) and I was impressed with the presentation when it arrived. The portion size was good and everything was hot. Everything tasted great and I polished off the plate completely. All Mex'd Up is a great option if vegetarians and carnivores are traveling together as there are plenty of meat and vegetarian options available to please everyone.

Came in for lunch with my daughter today and our lunch was delicious! Crispy fish tacos, tortilla chips and fresh pico digallo. And a very tastey lime margarita! The staff are so friendly, the surroundings so comfey. Highly recommend! Only thing missing was the incomparable pineapple hot sauce! But I hear Nick is on it! Will definitely be back!😊

Looking for AMAZING Mexican food? Look no further… The food served at this establishment is absolute fire! Authentic Mexican flavour in every dish and almost everything is made in house. They also have awesome vegan options for people like me. You will also find a massive collection of different hot sauces to try. The owner and staff are super nice people. Keep up the good work.

I was planning to go to another taco place, but as soon as I found this one, I had to order something. 😋 My friend got one fish taco and one beef taco, she couldn’t finish her meat! I had the chicken quesadilla. There was a lot of chicken, and I’m really satisfied with this place.

Amazing food at this small restaurant. About 5 tables, you order at the front and sit. Each Taco is quite big ($8-$9), nachos were huge with lots of chicken. Tortilla soup great choice. Reasonable prices for everything. And they have a kids menu - most appreciated!

Tacos, quesadillas and burritos, the food is amazing! Great place with good ambiance by the water. I highly recommend!

I'd give 6 stars if I could!! Came here for lunch today with my husband, my brother, and my 11 month old daughter. Food was absolutely fabulous as always, and the staff were in great spirits during a busy day. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food, including my daughter. At first I ordered her the kids menu veggie taco. However, she wasn't really enjoying it, the chef noticed, and he kindly brought out a cheese quesadilla for her, unprompted. Outstanding service, wonderful food, truly a staple Port Alberni experience. Experiences like this make me proud to be an islander!

Lovely location and atmosphere!! Covered and uncovered seating, and with quite the view. Staff were very friendly! A friend and I shared a half order of nachos (picture included) and it was huge! Absolutely delicious! Would definitely recommend :)
