Alla Capanna

We stayed for one night as part of a 3 days hike tour. The place is a very well renovated with a great view on the valley at 1200m altitude. This is like a Mountain hut, but with great food and an amazing terrace. We had an amazing 3 course dinner. Bed rooms are simple but clean and there are shared hot showers. They also have been very welcoming and helpful to organise our tour.

Great location, with good food. It's difficult to imagine a more picturesque setting for a meal. Also a quaint cable car takes you up to the restaurant.

My 8 year old daughter and I stayed in the private cottage at Alla Capanna. It was a truly delightful stay with amazing views from the patio restaurant, great food that even my picky little eater enjoyed, and so much warm hospitality from our hosts Barbara and Peter. Alla Capanna is just a 3 minute hike to a neighboring llama farm where my daughter and I were able to trek with the llamas, after which we hiked to the peak to "Swing the World". It was a really magical few days!

The restaurant is a little gem with a simple but adequate menu and the most wonderful views. We enjoyed minestrone soup followed by local cake and coffee, very good. The staff were welcoming and friendly
