Wonderful place to dine! Food was very good, and service was exceptional. We had the special Truffle & Pepper Pasta, and it was delicious. We enjoyed the outside dining..tables had warming blankets at each seat, and also outdoor heating. The ambiance of this restaurant is so charming. Also, prices are very reasonable. Especially for Rome. Hope to go back soon.

The restaurant is located in a very nice area with options for indoor or outdoor seating. For outdoor they also have heaters for the cooler days. All aspects of the meal were fantastic- friendly service, great food, and good ambiance. We had a starter of the artichoke flowers, then a couple pasta dishes that were great, and shared a steak main. All food was great, and felt reasonably priced for the great quality. Definitely would recommend and have even talked about going back for another meal there in the same trip.

Our first night in Rome, and this was recommended to us by our hotel we was staying in, and it was the best choice so far! Absolutely beautiful food (I am a really fussy eater) and I left here feeling more than happy that I had a good meal. Will recommend to anyone wanting to try here & we will definitely be back before we go home!

Excellent experience The restaurant was amazing in every way. The food quality was excellent and very delicious, and the service was professional and very friendly. The atmosphere was comfortable and welcoming. Overall, it was a truly great dining experience, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Rome.

This is the baseline of an Italian restaurant. Nothing too fancy without skipping on the basic quality of the dishes. It wouldn't be a restaurant I'd come back, however I would recommend it to someone who is visiting Rome for the first time. Staff was amazing though, servers were fluent English speakers!

Good Italian experience. Slight wait for outside table but plenty of inside seating. They had some delicious looking steaks! Wine options were plenty and good range of price. Prosciutto and melon, pastas were delicious. Our flan desert was slightly over cooked, espresso was good. Would recommend.

During a quick visit to Rome, my wife and I chose Alla Rampa for dinner — and it was the best choice! The service from our waitress Mariam was excellent — very friendly and full of great suggestions. The meal was perfect I tried the Carbonara, and it was absolutely delicious! I’ll definitely be back. Thank you! 🇧🇷

The food is incredibly delicious, the atmosphere is very pleasant, you can talk quietly, and there is light music. The service is top-notch. We were served by Sergey, a very friendly and courteous waiter. In general, the staff and manager are very polite. The food and alcoholic beverages are high quality. The atmosphere is 10 out of 10.

We were staying very close to this restaurant so decided to try it one evening. The food was unremarkable and very expensive. I would not go here again, I was very disappointed.

Horrible Service, Mediocre Food. This restaurant was recommended to us and we can't understand why. Maybe the ambiance as it was busy and it looked like lots of neighborhood people. The service we received was just awful. Pretentious server and he ignored us throughout our time there. We didn't see him after the blah dinner was served and after 30 minutes of waiting for our check...we asked another waiter to deliver our check. The caprese mozzarella appetizer had zero flavor. We all ordered pasta dishes and all four of us agreed we were not impressed. Our 15-year old son makes more delicious sauce and homemade pasta than what we were served. The attitude of the waiter just made for a bummer of an evening. We would not eat here again.

First night in Italy and this restaurant was on the block where we were staying. Walked in based on convenience and the menu looked pretty good. The positives ended there. We ordered Aperol spritzes and the wine glasses that were on the table were whipped away by the waiter. Apparently we were "supposed" to want wine (?). As an appetizer, we had just ok fried zucchini flowers. Although I tried my best at ordering in Italian, the waiter made it clear that his English was better than my Italian by looking confused and repeating each item back to me in English. We had a cacio e pepe as a pasta course. It was bland and the pasta was gummy - not "al dente", gummy. Excited to try my first pizza in Italy, my expectations for the funghi pie that I ordered may have been too high, but I have consistently had way better pizza in NY for the past 50 years. Granted this was a thin crusted Roman style pizza, but it was pretty unremarkable. The interior of the restaurant was modern looking, with a slick corporate-office-designed feeling to it. It was very busy for a Tuesday. Different servers came to surrounding tables to drop food, but none of them knew who was meant to get which dishes, having to ask each diner what they ordered, and sometimes going to the wrong tables altogether. Painful to witness. There is a fantastic gelato shop across the street and the much better restaurant we ended up going to the next two nights in a row is a block away - Ai Balestrari in Prati.

The food was ok. Service was kinda slow for us . I know it's Italy and things move slow but still. We sat outside weather was nice . The staff was friendly. It was recommended to us for our 2nd night dinner . They do have more than 1 restaurant in area under same name. We were to meet our friends here but they went to the one by the Spanish steps. I would probably not go back as nothing was outstanding and the prices were high for what you got . Otherwise it was an adventure while in Roma.

I didn't want to believe the yelp reviews due to an overwhelming majority of good reviews on google. Being the positive minded person, I gave them a try. Unfortunately, the negative reviews are correct. In reading the further details please keep in mind that this was a Sunday and not busy. About 3 other tables being served. Negatives: 1st the flies. Yes flies are in the restaurant (due to its proximity to the dumpsters on the street) and you will be swating your food, they simply need to do something about it. I would even suggest increasing the AC a bit of nothing else! 2nd the Chef! We ordered a good variety of dishes. The lobster dish was good. The mushroom fettuccini was al dente and ok (not amazing mushrooms or sauce). It went down hill from there, the mussels and clam, was a subpar sauté, with burnt (yes burnt, bread - the basics - that just shows the care) then the steaks/filets (about $24 euros a piece)- verde peppercorn filet ordered mid rare was served fully rare. Filet with red wine sauce (sauce was subpar) was served rare. 3rd the service .. When sent back, the verde filet came back back butterflied sliced and medium. The red wine filet - fully cooked with burned sauce. According to Florindo (or something like that - the first server) the initial cooked temperatures served are what "Italians" qualify as those temps. How ignorant of foreigners, I guess. He never came back to the table and another server continued the service. Even tho at the time no offense was taken to his comment and a giggle replied. 4th the price for service/experience ... given all the said above, the price is just not to par. With neither the food, the experience or the expected of either in this area or the ambiance of this restaurant. Good thing ... The 2nd server tried to make it up by giving us a shot of lemoncello. Good try... at that point nothing could make it up other than removing at least the inedible steak that went back untouched after being over cooked. To be fair I did not ask to have it removed at that point, they should have known - and I just wanted out. I have attached pics of the "mid rare verde filet" and the "medium" red wine filet after being over cooked. I really wanted it to be good considering it was our last night in the city of Rome. Sadly dissatisfied.

Spent the entire night killing flies. Would not come back. Server was nice enough. Food wasn't noteworthy either. With so many other options in this city, I would opt out. Management seemed indifferent, must not need new clients, so take your business elsewhere. Ho passato l'intera notte a uccidere le mosche. Non tornerebbe. Il server e stato abbastanza carino. Anche il cibo non era degno di nota. Con cosi tante altre opzioni in questa citta, operei. La gestione sembrava indifferente, non doveva avere bisogno di nuovi clienti, quindi porta la tua attivita altrove.

We came into this restaurant because we were very hungry, but should have heeded the reviews. There were lots of flies in the restaurant that were landing on us and the food. The food was mediocre but we finished it all because we were very hungry. The spaghetti with clams was al dente but not flavorful. The pizza crust was thicker than most other places in the area. The buffalo mozzarella was too dry. The strozzapreti with seafood was the only good dish but I would not want to come back to this restaurant again. The wait staff was nice, hence the extra star, else it would be 1 star.

Cirprian is the best waiter we've had in Roma. An absolute pleasure and delicious meal. Thank you guys!!
