Allamanda Beach Resort

Location and Service 5 star however very frustrating when the air con is leaking waking up to a completely soaked and stained bag with 40% of my clothes wet. Thankfully customer service was amazing that we got late checkout to allow things to completely dry. The location is amazing 2 minute walk to the beach with free day beds, 5 minute walk to grocery store…. Don’t come when there’s a festival the nearby community park the music doesn’t stop till 3am and it vibrates the entire room. Highly recommend to bring eye mask and earplugs in case. Honestly great hotel to stay for the price, beds good bathroom good, I still recommend it just warning for the Aircon issue and loud music. Thanks for having us!

I highly recommend this hotel. As a solo traveller and on my first time visiting the Island, I felt super safe. My lovely room keeper, Hazel, ensured my room was clean. I went to the beach for the morning, and by the time I got back for lunch, the room was cleaned and the bed made. Nelson and Wendy, the receptionists, went above and beyond- the rooms are dated and could do with an update of furniture. ||Allamada is on the beach - KFC is literally on the other side of the road, and the shopping mall is 3 3-minute walk - umbrellas are a 5-minute walk on the beach.| I will definitely be returning if you're looking for a no-frills, clean base close to everything. I chose this property for its beachfront location as I am traveling with my mother for work and I wanted her to be able to enjoy the beach while I was working. The pictures on their website are NOTHING like what it looks like. Very run down and in desperate need of a renovation. Restaurant is closed; no breakfast or bar on property. I’m quite confident that people live there, when the room attendant came to clean the room, she had children with her. Ok, fine, however, those children came back to our room and asked for food. There’s a time and place for charity but as a guest of the hotel, this was not either. Very limited parking, the tennis court is in complete disarray and what little furniture they do have in the lobby is stained. Now for the positive, it is beachfront and a very pretty beach as well. The water is clear and calm to enjoy a swim or a float. The pool at the hotel is quite large with plenty of lounge chairs and the landscaping is very pretty. While definitely dated with some maintenance opportunities, the rooms are clean. If you are only interested in a place to sleep that is in a great location that won’t break the bank, this is your spot. Otherwise, I’d suggest you stay at the neighboring resort that is actually a resort.

Interesting stay. Pros - close to the beach, transportation, nearby restaurants and a large grocery/mall. Staff is very kind and courteous. Rooms are basic but comfortable. Hot and cold water every day and a/c. Cons - the place is very dark and scary at night due to poor lighting. No front desk staff after certain hours, no restaurant on site, no gym, poor lighting in rooms which is good for romantic get aways but not for me. Cleaner kept leaving the sliding door open after service, big big problem!!! Public park next door and persons got a lil loud however close the door and draw the curtains it minimized. If you're coming with heavy bags be prepared to tote them up the stairs, there's no elevator. Make sure to check your sliding doors for your safety!! They have a number of things to work on but I think they're ok with giving a basic basic absolute no frills service.

Good Hotel but needs much updating. Has old beds and mattress. Very friendly and clean. Much noise from the adjacent city park.

I had an absolutely wonderful experience again at this beachfront hotel while in Grenada. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel like family. Everyone was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. What truly stood out was how they went above and beyond to assist me when I needed a room on short notice. Despite being nearly full, Debbian worked to find a solution-and succeeded! The location is perfect for a relaxing getaway to enjoy Grenada, and the hospitality made it unforgettable. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for comfort, kindness, and a seaside escape. It was everything I needed.

A budget-type hotel that is right on the beach. Front desk staff are friendly. Be sure to ask for an ocean view room. Our room was basic, had a refrigerator, was clean, had a view of the beach, A/C worked great. The hotel seriously needs to be renovated. There is a hotel right next door that plays loud music mostly weekends. One night it was a steel drum band and even from inside our room it was loud. impossible to sit on the deck. The gym is terrible. equipment is old, rusty and unusable. Onsite restaurant is not open, but there are many restaurants within walking distance to eat. check out Fork & Knife at the spiceland mall.

Great experiencevat this beach property. Nelson, the front desk attendant went above & beyond to make my stay great. I would stay at this property again went I go back to Grenada.
