Allan Court Motel

Due to my partner being in critical care in hospital i had to change the length of my stay several times. This was no problem at all. Lee and Zoe always checked in to see how my partner was and also did my laundry which went above and beyond but helped so much during a stressful time. In close proximity to hospital and other amenities was also a real benefit. The room was quiet but had really comfortable bedding and a full oven for cooking. Given we were using the National Travel Assistance Scheme, the owners only charged us the difference in the cost of the unit and applied directly to the scheme which alleviated another pressure given we spent a month. Lee and Zoe are just such a lovely couple with a motel to suit your needs that is quiet comfortable safe and at a great price

The bathroom and toilet were not clean, please check the fans above the shower.!!! It was FULL of hair and dust! Our room filled with cigarette smoke when owners smoked at base of stairwell...definitely would not recommend or stay again...

We had 3 nights at the motel. The service was excellent, with Lee going the extra mile to help us out. The motel is ideally located for the city, and university. It is clean comfortable and quiet. Thank you Lee for an enjoyable rest

Hi I recently stayed at Alan court motels for a month during the week while I was having hospital treatment ,,,I found it just the perfect distance to walk to my appointments,,,I loved the big rooms which were very homely and relaxing ,,,I would absolutely recommend these motels to everyone an certainly would stay here again

Clean and warm. Good kitchenette facilities. Great location close to University. Lots of places to eat nearby.

I had a stay for 5 weeks while having medical treatment. The wifi was great, I was able to work on my laptop easily. The rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable but the best part was the service. Nothing was a problem, Lee was very kind, caring and thoughtful, going above and beyond. The location is great and I would highly recommend this place to anyone. We were given a 3 bedroom on level 2, with the rain upon us and no lift, we struggled up the steps with our luggages. The rooms are clean and kitchen well equipped. But as there were 7 of us, one of us ended up sleeping in the sofa bed at the lounge. Only problem is there was only 1 toilet and 1 shower room. I was told that all the apartment comes with 1 toilet so no choice. There were heaters so all of us have a good night's rest.

My 82-year-old mum stayed at the Allan Court Motel while my dad was in hospital for several days. The booking process was easy and Lee was friendly, and also flexible when surgery dates changed. Mum said that the room was clean and had everything she needed, and the bed was comfortable with nice linen. Lee was very welcoming, and the location was excellent being only a short walk to Dunedin Hospital.
